CHAPTER 3. Dinner

"Good morning Sir," the greeting from the middle-aged woman who had just opened the main door for her Master.

Arga just nodded his head slowly, keep stepping into the living room that looks very spacious, with a very luxurious and elegant interior design.

Crystal chandelier decoration that hangs right in the middle of the room, with its gold rays combined with the feel of gold from the walls and furniture in it, really spoil the cornea of the eye when looking at it.

"Your room is on the second floor, you can rest now, if you need anything you can call Bi Sari, she will prepare all your needs." Arga said with a movement of his head pointing at Bi Sari who was already standing nearby.

Alexa just nodded her head in understanding." Are you going to sleep..." Ask Alexa to hang up her sentence.

"I'm still sleeping in the master bedroom." Replied Arga flatly as if knowing what was on his new wife's mind.

"Please Madam, I help show you Madam's room" Bi Sari politely told Alexa.

"Don't call me Mrs Bi, just call me Alexa, or Al," said Alexa, making Bi Sari look at her Master.

Arga just nodded his head slowly staring at Bi Sari.

"I will call you Miss, it seems inappropriate that I call Mr. Arga's wife by name." Reply Bi Sari.

"Yes no longer papa Bi," said Alexa resigned.

Bi Sari immediately directed Alexa to climb the stairs, stepping their feet towards the room she had prepared.

Arga stepped up to drop her body on the sofa, unbuttoning her shirt before leaning back and closing her eyes on the back of the sofa.

"How can I fuck a woman other than Kira Hams" said Arga Lirih keep his eyes closed.

"You must do it sir, for the sake of the next generation of the Syahreza Group." Answer the flat Hams who had been standing nearby.

"Is there no other way than to make love?" asked Arga opening her eyes to look at Hams.

Hams simply shook his head slowly in response to his master's ridiculous question.

Arga sighed, closing his eyes back to remember Kira, his first wife who had been sorely missed by him. "I love Kira so much, how can I hurt her by making love to the other woman in this house, the house I've been in for almost eight years."

"Master didn't have to do it in this house," Hams replied, making Arga open her eyes again staring at him.

"You can do it in your apartment, or in your other home, or...must I reserve a hotel room for you?"

Arga fell silent before giving Hams a half smile, a forced smile as she really did not want to smile, "This is not only a matter of Hams' place, but also a matter of heart, how can I touch another woman when my heart and mind are filled with Kira's name?" tanya Arga straightened her seat staring at Hams.

Hams was silent, unable to answer his Master's question, because he himself knew how much Arga felt for his wife.

To look at a woman who is not his wife he has no taste, how can he touch and fuck a woman other than his wife?

"You can go home, I want a soak to calm my mind." Arga stood up from his seat.

Staying with his flat expression, Hams only nodded her head slowly looking at Arga who was stepping into the house, towards the main room on the lower floor.

The sky started to darken, the sunlight had been hiding changed by the moonlight accompanied by stars.

Alexa was still sitting pensively on her bed, staring blankly ahead thinking about the decision she had taken.

Trrrt trrrrt shakes the phone on the bed disperse the daydream.

"Yes Ndis?" answer Alexa weakly received her phone call.

"Are you still healthy?" tanya Gendis was worried about the safety of her best friend.

Gendis is Alexa's only friend from High School, a friend in difficult times who always lends his ears to Alexa sigh, just to ease the feeling of his tightness.

"Did that family treat you well? or worse than your parents?" ask Gendis again, creating a smile half-lipped Alexa.

"I was born to always be healthy Ndis, I must always be healthy in order to stay upright when destiny throws stones at me again." Answer Alexa pilu.

"No, Mr. Arga seems kind, he treats me well, for his wife I don't know what his attitude will be" replied Alexa playing her right finger over the lap.

"Have you met yet?"

"Yet, his wife is still in Singapore, what if she doesn't like me and tortures me instead? just like the scene in the soap operas that you usually see is Ndis?" alexa's plain asking made her best friend chuckle.

"It's just a soap opera Honey.....!"

"My life has also been like Ndis soap opera, full of drama and tears" replied Alexa with a thin smile, making her friend speechless justifying his sentence.

"What about your college?" tanya Gendis diverted her chatter.

"I don't know" replied Alexa before turning her eyes toward the door of her room that was knocked.

"I close first ndis, there's someone coming to my room." Alexa hung up her phone call.

Alexa immediately put her phone on the nightstand before getting out of bed and moving her legs toward the door.

"Yes Bi? alexa asked after opening the door, looking at Bi Sari who was already standing behind the door of her room.

"Dining is ready Non, Mr. Arga is waiting at the dinner table." Reply Bi Sari makes Alexa flutter.

"I'm Bi?" alexa asked, pointing at herself, not believing the sentence she had just heard.

"Yes Non, please," replied Bi Sari stepping aside to give her new Miss a path.

With a feeling of raginya Alexa stepped her feet to go down the stairs on the left side of her room.

"This is the first time someone has invited me to dinner together at the dinner table" inner Alexa kept on stepping closer to Arga.

"Can I really have dinner with you here?" alexa asked looking at Arga who was sitting waiting for her.

"Why? you mind?" ask Arga flat.

Alexa shook her head slowly to answer Arga's question.

"Yes already sitting down" said Arga again pointing at the empty seat opposite him.

With his feelings are still full Alexa stepped her feet to sit on a chair.

"I've been eating alone in my room all the time, while my parents and step-sisters have been laughing and enjoying every mouthful of food Bi Lasmi has on the table, not because I didn't want it, but because Mama banned it, Mama said eating with me could take away her appetite." Inner Alexa was sad when she recalled the treatment of her parents.

"Why silence? you don't like the food?" asked Arga to break his daydream.

Alexa shook her head slowly. "I like it so much, I really want to enjoy eating with family at the dinner table," Inner Alexa again scooped the rice in front of her, making her shed tears that should not fall.

"Why you?" asked Arga confusedly looking at Alexa who was crying.

"No papa sir," answered Alexa to put a spoonful of rice into her mouth.

"Where do you want to go to college? Hams can sign you up tomorrow!"

"At university C" replied Alexa, the university where her best friend Gendis was educated.

"Can I study medicine?" ask Alexa carefully.

"You want to be a doctor?" asked Arga, making Alexa nod her head.

"I want to give my own life a chance, so that I can live better in the future, I want to stand tall against the cruelty of the world with my successful career as a Doctor." Answer Alexa held back her tears, trying to enjoy every mouthful of rice that entered her mouth.
