A bright morning at one of the schools, a male student was being mobbed by some delinquents with a rogue look in a dark hallway that was hard to see by others.
"Hey Riyan, do you know what's going to happen now?"
"What's that?"
The disciple replied casually without any fear or worry at all on his face. Highlight his eyes stared intently at the delinquent standing in front of him. The delinquents did not answer his question and began to approach him while ringing their fingers one by one.
Moments later, the delinquent students came out of the dark hallway with triumphant faces and a few sheets of paper money that they held each. They walk haughtily towards the karaoke place which is not far from this place.
"Huh..tell me again..."
From within the dark hallway came a faint voice accompanied by several groans full of pain. A young man in a black school uniform sits on a pile of smelly plastic garbage. His battered body was unable to move and on his lips there was a slight patch of blood.
The young man was named Riyan Klaint, a 16-year-old student who attended a private High School. He was a student who was always mobbed by various problems since Junior High. These problems started from an event that hurt his heart.
"Well, let it be, it's been my fate."
Riyan tried to stand with his own two feet aided with his hands. After being able to stand up properly, he picked up the school bag and the books scattered on the ground. He picked it up one by one with some small groans due to the treatment given by the delinquents to him.
After he finished picking up his scattered book, he walked towards his school with a forced body. Arriving at school, precisely in his seat, he sat down and laid his upper body on the table, then slept without regard to the views of his class students who led to him.
Moments later, the bell rang and woke Riyan up. As soon as he opened his eyes, he found something strange. The surroundings looked like they were covered with a bright purple dome.
All the students in the classroom suddenly panicked and were surprised to see something abnormal, especially the women. The panicked male disciple started to shout in annoyance and there were some who were calmly analyzing this incident, Riyan was one of the disciples who analyzed this situation calmly.
'The surroundings were filled with a purple aura that suddenly appeared just like that from the floor. The floors?'
He looked at the floor and found something surprising. On the floor that he incandescent there is a large circle filled the classroom floor with various patterns of flat wake and writing that he had never seen before.
'What's this? Experiments from chemical experiments or something?'
Riyan looked quite confused by the image lining the floor of this class. A moment later, his gaze was covered by the bright purple light emitting the water of the strange circle, as were all of the disciples of this class.
After their gaze was enveloped by a bright purple light, suddenly the class became empty. They all disappeared in the blink of an eye without a trace, like teleportation.
At that very instant, a teacher opened the classroom door and found that there was no one in it. He was a little confused by that and looked to the window to ascertain whether his disciple was being sun-dried in the field for making a mistake or not. But as soon as he looked at the window, on the ceremonial field there was no one at all.
Riyan and her class students were currently in a dark room, and they were all unconscious, including Riyan. Moments later from one side of the room, the door opened and several people entered. These men wore armor like a medieval royal guard.
They took the disciples out of the room one by one and placed them in different rooms. Not until 10 minutes, the room was empty without remaining.
***
After roughly an hour later, Riyan finally woke up from his sleep. He lifted his body from the bed and looked around him closely. Ten seconds passed, he could only fall silent engulfed in deep confusion.
'Where is this? What the hell happened to me?'
Question after question sprung up in his brain because of a situation he did not understand. He saw a window in his room. The room is approximately 6 x 7 meters in size with a luxurious mattress that fits to the left side of the entrance along with a small table next to it, a fairly classy wooden cabinet on the right side, which is a very small room, a table that seems free to use for anything next to the closet, and a window that is straight with the door.
He got out of the bed and walked to the window. When the view pierced through the window glass, there was a green field with some tree ornaments that had been cut neatly by the gardener. The field was flanked by an opposite building and the building where the room that Riyan occupied.
Suddenly someone opened the door and surprised Riyan who was looking at the green field. When Riyan turned his head, he saw a man with an iron armor that covered his entire body or commonly called a full-plate, except for his head and worship the red robe like a hero in the hero movies lying on his back.
"Oh, you look up."
Hearing the voice of a man with a warrior-like look from the middle ages, Riyan was quite surprised. But he kept his composure and was calm as usual.
"It seems you're quite calm about this situation. Sorry, but come with me first. um..."
"Riyan, Riyan Klaint."
"Riyan, what a name. I am Faleon, one of the generals of the Alivonian kingdom appointed to guide you."
'guiding?'
Riyan was confused by the word 'guiding' he heard from Faleon. It was not wrong for Riyan to wonder because of the situation he did not understand at the moment. Then Faleon walked out of the room and Riyan followed in his steadfast footsteps from behind.
Moments later they reached a large hall, after walking down the hallway of the building. There were about 14 of Riyan's classmates sitting in chairs that had been prepared. Faleon escorted Riyan up to the chair and told him to sit down.
Riyan followed his words and sat down quietly. When he looked towards his classmates, they showed an uncomfortable expression as soon as Riyan sat near them. Seeing that, Riyan pulled his chair a little further away from where it should be, then they turned their eyes again to the front without caring for Riyan in the slightest.
In less than half an hour, all the disciples who had fainted had now come to their senses and sat down on the chairs that had been prepared in this great hall. They were still in a state of confusion and fear, especially the girls, they were like trembling in fear.
Just then, the wide hall door opened again, this time with the sound of a resolute welcome from the soldiers in this hall. All of the disciples, including Riyan, looked back to see what had really happened.
A man with platinum white hair in flashy fancy clothes like the British empire a few centuries ago, accompanied by a white crown mixed with sparkling gold walking towards a throne in front there. He stood in front of the throne and looked at the disciples, then he raised his voice.
"Welcome to this world, heroes of another world."
Hearing that, the disciples were shocked. The words 'hero' and 'other world' made them stiffly unable to move. Riyan felt like he had heard this sentence before, somewhere else. Soon he remembered where he found this phrase.
'Oh, this phrase I often meet in fantasy novels. Are they playing a drama with a fantasy theme like that?'
It is true that such sentences often appear in novels with fantasy genres, but what is unexpected is that Riyan's guess which contains a drama presented to the students. If that is indeed true, then it should be that much more will be watching and the lighting should be better and the properties are too quality, feeling like reality. But what a pity, it was just a wrong guess from a high school boy, Riyan Klaint.
"You must have thought that this was a dream, but what a pity, this is reality."
"My name is Alestein von Tardent, king of this Alivonian kingdom."
As soon as the king said the sentence, Riyan's head suddenly throbbed with a hint of pain. Riyan who sensed that instantly held his head.
'Wh-what's this? Why does my head suddenly hurt?'
As Alestein explained about this kingdom as well as the world, Riyan listened to him while enduring the pain that was attacking his head. No one saw Riyan in pain holding his head. Even so, Riyan still directed his concentration to listen to the explanation from Alestein.
For him information about the kingdom and the world is very important, so he must pay attention to it inevitably.
The Kingdom of Alivonia was one of the 5 great empires in this world, a fairly prosperous kingdom. Alivonia is being led by king Alestein von Tardent who is sitting on his throne explaining about his kingdom and this world.
This world has 3 continents namely the demon continent, the Tendo continent, and the Lidian continent. The Kingdom of Alivonia was located on the Lidian continent, the easternmost continent. The Lidian continent has 2 major kingdoms such as Alivonia and Ilvania.
The Tendo continent is the southern continent of the Lidian continent. These two continents were separated by a huge sea, but not as big as the previous world of Riyan. It could be said that this sea is only a connecting strait between these two continents.
The kingdoms of Ranshu, Ling, and Komatein are kingdoms located on the Tendo continent. These five great empires established neutral, unfriendly and non-hostile relations. There were a few minor disputes around the border, but the issue was not much concern because it did not want to start a war.
"Until here does anyone want to ask?"
When Alestein threw out an opportunity to ask, a yellow-blonde male disciple raised his hand high. Alestein looked at it and pointed at it.
"Stand up and tell me your name, then ask."
The man lowered his hand and stood up straight as Alestein had commanded.
"My name is Gilbert Arkbell, commonly called Gilbert."
Gilbert, an exemplary student of the Riyan class. He is friendly and caring to anyone, even Riyan. Some of his classmates also cared about and cared for Riyan, but they never showed it directly in front of him.
"I want to ask, what are we called here for? And what do you mean you call us heroes?"
Hearing this, the disciples also spoke in agreement to Gilbert's words. They were summoned to this world not out of their own volition, but were forcibly summoned by them. Alestein summoned the disciples of the Riyan class with summoning magic that could summon heroes from other worlds, and this was explained by him earlier.
"The reason is because we need your help."
The disciples were very surprised upon hearing the words spoken from Alestein's lips. They were ordinary High School students, obviously they were confused by the intent of the sentence.
"This world is in danger of being destroyed due to the resurrection of the highest and strongest demon king in the demon continent there."
The demon army in the demon continent was growing very rapidly, even exceeding the forecasts of the fortune tellers. Since the war that took place 30 years ago, the demon army should not be able to develop this fast. Some time ago, there was a prophecy from a famous fortune teller that contains the highest and strongest demon king will rise up and destroy the world, sooner or later.
Hearing that, of course, the whole world was shocked and frightened. The demon lord was an existence that should not be in this world because his strength was too great. It has been sealed by a hero 300 years ago in 9 gemstones that are scattered to hidden places around the world.
"Why do you call us who are not related to this world at all? Didn't even if we were called here, we couldn't do anything?"
What Gilbert said was reality. They were just high school students who knew nothing and had no privileges at all in this world. Another student supported Gilbert's words.
"A witch once said that there are other humans living in another world. That world has a power stronger than this world, so you don't have to worry. You who we call here are powerful heroes who can keep the peace of this world."
The pain in Riyan's head had subsided and he could understand the explanations of Alestein slowly. The disciples who heard the situation as to why they were summoned to this world were extremely shocked. Just arrived in this world, already charged with the great responsibility of saving the world from great destruction? Of course they're scared.
"Just calm down, my great generals will train you until you are ready to face the moment."
The great generals mentioned by Alestein advanced to the front of the disciples who had just received a great responsibility. They look strong and convincing. Even so, this was unable to calm the disciples.
"You will also be protected from all kinds of dangers as I can with the law and the soldiers. You also have rights like royalty, so take it easy."
Hearing Alestein's words, the disciples calmed down a little, at least for now. The opposite of the disciples, Riyan was a little agitated due to the sick feeling that attacked him earlier. He really did nothing, but suddenly the pain came upon him upon hearing the name of Alestein von Tardent.
He hid his anxiety in his heart so that it would be invisible to no one but himself.
"Is there no way for us to return to our home world?"
"Sorry, but we don't know how to reverse the summoning magic circle."
Alestein slightly lowered his head to apologize to all the disciples who were summoned to this world as heroes. The disciples began to show such uneasiness and various feelings from hearing there was no way back to their home world.
As a hero, they were charged with protecting the world from the destruction that would be caused by the supreme demon king who would rise, it was not easy. Just imagine if you were a member of the arts expatriate had to participate in a baseball tournament to replace one of the injured members, how does it feel? Of course it's weird because it's not the field you're in, just like these students.
"Therefore, please protect this world!"
"Your majesty!"
Alestein prostrated himself in front of the disciples from his throne while pleading with Gilbert who seemed to have the ability to lead his friends. Gilbert looked at his friends to make sure, they nodded slightly, albeit with a heavy heart. Then he walked up to Alestein who was prostrating on his dirty and cold floor.
"Give your head, your majesty."
Hearing Gilbert's soft voice entering his ears, Alestein raised his head and body from the floor assisted by Gilbert's hands.
"We'll help you."
"Are you sure? We forced you to come into this world and gave you the responsibility to protect this world, you have the right to reject it."
"No, it's our decision. Nothing to do, right?"
Alestein smiled at Gilbert's reply, which calmed his heart. With this the disciples of—more precisely the heroes, have been willing to protect this world from the supreme and strongest demon king who will rise soon. For that they must have strength and the only thing to gain strength is to practice.
