Swordsman Dog Stick

Swordsman Dog Stick
Ep 3 - Is This Book Really...???

There are hundreds of meridian points in the human body. From birth, all the meridian points were perfectly open, so that the circulating qi flow could go smoothly. To keep the meridian points perfectly open, one must do certain exercises with various methods, both physical and mental exercises.

But it was almost impossible for a human to be able to keep his meridian points perfectly open. A newborn baby, has not been able to control his physical and mental until the next few years, as a result, most of the meridian points become uneventful even to the point of being completely blocked.

Accidentally, the dantian point and some meridian points that were in Agni's body, opened due to the Ming brothers' blows. Those dantians and open meridians had helped Agni speed up the healing period of the wounds on her body. Agni felt something different when she was doing meditation as Chua Pek Dong said.

"Rightly what Eyang Chua Pek Dong said, I felt an energy flowing beneath my navel"

He continued to meditate behind a large black stone where his clothes were dried. The longer, Agni was able to feel the flow of energy under her navel. Agni tries to drain that energy by focusing the mind.

Because it is still unfamiliar with the sensation of the energy, Agni still can not drain it, even Agni still has difficulty to just move it. Those streams of energy just swirled around at the bottom of his navel.

Agni did not give up, she focused her mind more and more. His efforts were not in vain, slowly the energy rotation was getting enlarged to other parts in his organs. Agni began to sense hundreds of branching pathways as the path of energy flow.

With all her concentration, Agni tried to channel the energy into the paths she could reach. Agni could feel several streams of energy flowing from under her navel to her upper body up to the head. Then the energy continued to go and down through the back of his body, until it returned to a point below the navel of the back of his body.

Likewise with the flow that goes to the bottom, from below the navel, flows into the soles of the feet, and back to the point of the back of his body.

Of the hundreds of branches of the path that exist, Agni can only channel her energy to a small part. Some are slightly clogged and most others stop halfway. Even so, for Agni who was only a farm boy, it really meant a lot to him.

After meditating for some time, Agni felt unable to open other paths. He also finished his meditation. When Agni opened her eyes, it seemed that the day had come late in the afternoon. Without realizing it, his body had been drenched in sweat. The wounds on his body only left marks, the pain he had felt almost disappeared altogether.

"Excellent, is this really the effect of my qi energy?" Ask Agni in her heart.

Agni immediately grabbed her clothes and put on them. When Agni put on her footwear, something got stuck in her strap.

"What this is, it's weird"

The object that Agni found stuck in the footstrap was shaped like seaweed, but had a dark blue color sparkling as if like a jade, but chewy textured. Fortunately Agni carried a pouch that was always in her belt.

"Let me keep it first, who knows it's useful"

"It's late in the afternoon, I have to get out of this forest"

As a 12-year-old farm boy, Agni is quite smart and brave. Although he was only a farmer, Agni's father was also a hunter. Agni had followed her father quite often to hunt in the middle of the forest, so Agni was not afraid of his current situation. But it would be quite worrying if it was dark and he was still in the middle of the forest.

Agni immediately set her foot through the forest with her wand. Her father had taught her the signs of a place that might be inhabited or be a hunting area for wild animals. Actually the place he meditated on the river bank earlier, including the location of the hunting area of the wild animals, but at that time Agni was not thought of at all. Luckily no tiger or tiger came to him.

On the way, he picked up some wild-growing fruits to fill his stomach. Agni had met deer, deer and some rabbits, but Agni did not try to hunt them, because at that time Agni did not carry her hunting weapon

After walking for almost an hour, he was on the edge of the forest.Rupanya the forest is not too deep forest, just deserved Agni did not meet wild animals. Now Agni has walked on a large grassland. During his walk, he continued to ponder what he had experienced these few days, as well as about his dantian, meridian points and qi energy.

When the sun was reddish, Agni had arrived at a rice field, a sign that she was getting closer to one settlement.

From a distance, he saw a gubug that was a bit high in the middle of the rice field. Gubug commonly used by farmers to just rest during the day while dispelling birds that will peck their rice seeds.

"I'd rather spend the night in that hut, than I'll have trouble entering the village at night"

Agni slowed her steps to wait for the sun to get lower, while making sure the farmers who might still be in the rice field had returned to her home. When the sun was just behind the mountain, Agni directed her steps towards the hut in the middle of the rice field.

A moment later he had climbed the stairs of the hut to coincide with the sun sinking.

"It's going to be a long night, there's nothing I can do, I'd better get back to training that energy flow"

Agni sat cross-legged in the hut and then began to focus her mind on re-sensing an energy that was below her navel.

In general, cultivating techniques are quite difficult and are only taught in sects or martial colleges. However not just anyone could become a disciple within the sect. Normally, disciples within a sect still had familial connections, or outsiders who had the recommendation of a known expert practitioner. It was therefore not easy for ordinary people like Agni or the other peasants, to become disciples of one sect. But sometimes a sect also opens a new student registration with a very strict selection.

The level of cultivation difficulty depended on the cultivation base and one's natural as well as physical innate talents. The worse one's physical talent and innate, then the more difficult it was for him to cultivate.

Unwittingly by Agni, Agni actually has a high cultivation base as well as excellent natural and physical innate talents. A bit of direction from Chua Pek Dong then plus the experience he was hunting, where having to set his breath to hide from the ferocious beasts, had helped him to realize the dantian point below his navel.

The meditation that Agni did last afternoon, is the stage of purification of qi, or commonly also called qi. The Qi energy flowing from the front dantian towards the back dantian on Agni's body, had helped her recover her stamina, heal her injuries, as well as increase her soul and mental strength.

After nearly three hours of meditation, Agni reopened her eyes. His body had been covered in sweat, not ordinary sweat, even Agni felt the smell of his sweat more stinging than usual. But from the look on Agni's face, clearly emanated a sense of satisfaction after doing meditation.

"Excellent, what strength is this" said Agni who felt an increase in strength on her body.

Agni rested for a while and then ate the rest of the fruit that she picked in the forest while continuing to contemplate about her meditation. After finishing with his meal, Agni went back to meditating until midnight. When it was over from his meditation, the sweat that poured into Agni's body, was different from before. The sweat is now thicker and slightly blackish. Agni also felt a very unpleasant smell from her body. But because the night has deepened, and the morning is only a few hours away. Agni ignored her body odor and devoted herself to rest.

When a red tinge had decorated the sky, and a faint sound of chicken crowing, Agni was awake from her sleep. In the blind part, Agni came down from the hut and looked for a river to cleanse her body. By following the flow of water that irrigates the rice fields, it is not difficult for Agni to find a river.

"It looks like the river is flowing out of the river in the forest" Agni said.

After getting a place that feels safe enough, Agni cleans herself by bathing in the river.

"This river water is not too cold as usual, is it possible because of that energy?" Think Agni.

Actually unnoticed by Agni, he had entered the world of cultivation, and at the moment he had entered the early stage of cultivation, resulting in his strength and endurance, several times stronger than before, agni's resistance to cold has also increased.

When he opened his eyes after meditating, Agni again felt amazed by the results of his meditation. The energy accumulated below his navel, felt increasingly enlarged. On his meditation last time, Agni focused on smoothing out his somewhat blocked Qi lines. And again his body is covered in blackish thick sweat that smells more and more unpleasant. Then Agni repeated her bath again that morning.

With his clothes not too dry, Agni left the river, he returned down the previous rice field. It is seen that some farmers have been working in their fields.

"Not far away there must be a village"

Agni then asked one of the farmers she met in the rice field.

"Excuse me Uncle, my name is Agni, please allow me to ask, may I?" Agni asked a middle-aged farmer.

The farmer was somewhat astonished to see Agni, as he felt he had never Agni before.

"Yes Ngger, please, but before did you open this village boy, it seems like I have never seen you" said the person.

"Right uncle, I come from the low-lying village of Ngalam, my father is also a farmer, to be honest I have lost my way and do not know where I am at this time"

The farmer was quite surprised to hear Agni's explanation, because the city Agni mentioned was quite far from his village. The farmer thought, how could a child as small as Agni get lost this far away.

"You are in the village of Nenjap Ngger. How can you get lost? You know, on foot, the journey from your village to this place takes a few days Ngger" said the man.

"I don't know Uncle myself, actually since yesterday I've been lost in this village, and last night I slept in the hut" Agni said, pointing at the hut where she spent the night.

"Walahdalah Nggerr... Yes, go to the village at the end of the feather, ask the people there where the village banjar is located, just say you want Ki Jarpa, wait for me in the banjar, wait for me, I'll finish my job first, oya, do you bring money?" Said the farmer named ki Jarpa.

"Sorry uncle, I have no money at all" Agni replied while scratching her head.

"fortunately I brought some money, here are some bronze pieces, buy some food to fill your stomach, and remember, wait for me in the village banjar" said ki Jarpa who felt sorry to see Agni.

"Ba..good uncle... Thank you very much for your help" replied Agni.

Luckily Agni met a kind farmer.

Agni promises to repay the farmer one day.

After some messages from ki Jarpa, Agni headed to the village gate. Because of the help of ki Jarpa, Agni found no difficulty when entering the village of Nenjap. Agni's journey to the village banjar, passing through a market, when passing through the market, a trader made him interested.

The merchant was of Chinese descent, he shouted while hitting some kind of small gong with a chirp, to invite prospective buyers. Most of the prospective buyers were children, because the merchant sold fruit sweets, various forms of candy, and various kinds of toy weapons.

"Come-marry... The sword of truth, the spear of justice, the bow of virtue there is also candy and manisaaaaaaannn..." Shouted that guy.

Agni approached the merchant who had been mobbed by the little children. At the merchant's table there are various kinds of toy weapons, as well as some martial books, which of course is also only the merchant's wreath. While at the table, a shelf contains sweets and sweets.

Seeing Agni approaching him carrying a bamboo stick, the merchant felt he had a chance.

"Young man, uncle has something suitable for your wand. Look at this..." The merchant said it showed the martial books on the table, also taking some of the others from the table.

"The book of a thousand sticks, the book of the dragon stick, the devil's killer stick, please Young man, just a minute you can have this unrivaled book of skill" said the merchant raising his book of merchandise.

Agni remembered Chua Pek Dong's words about the peerless book she had to look for.

"There is no way the book could have been on this merchant" Agni said in her heart.

After all, Agni was still a child, so she was interested in seeing the wide variety of toy weapons that the person sold, but not to buy them. Moreover, Agni does not have money, the money she currently holds, is giving ki Jarpa to buy food, not to buy toys.

In addition, Agni had also learned that what the merchant sold was only a fake book of the merchant's wits, because the toy merchant as he met today, was also in his village.

"Sorry uncle, I just want to take a look" Agni replied while scratching her head.

"Oh, or this one alone, god's wand

Erlang, or this heavenly wand, or this one alone..." The merchant has not given up. He took and showed one book after another to persuade Agni.

Just as the merchant was holding one of the most shabby-looking books among the others. Suddenly Agni's wand shook. Agni was surprised by the vibration, immediately she tried to behave naturally so that the vibration of her wand was unknown to others.

"The book of dog-beating sticks, with just two bronzes you'll get this book and a stick of sweets, how?

Agni was again surprised to hear the name of the book offered by the merchant, the same as the name of his staff. Moreover, the staff he was holding suddenly shook, as if it was resonating with the book.

"It looks like I have to buy it, let alone the price of the sweets is indeed two bronze" Agni said in her heart. In his village, the sweets were indeed worth two bronze.

"Certainly uncle? Alright I want to buy it" Agni said with a contrived expression of pleasure.

While the merchant was also happy, at least the sweetness was sold, the dog-beating stick book had been in his bag for a long time because it did not sell. He also forgot where to get the book, because it was not his creation.

The two immediately transacted, when the book was already in Agni's hands, a moment later the staff had stopped shaking. Agni continued her journey to the village banjar while enjoying the sweets she bought. Along the way his mind so filled about the book he just bought.

"Is this book really...???"
