Chapter 7 Connecting Line
The morning was so beautiful, the morning sunshine burst in the glass window grille of Richard's luxury apartment. Niken was still sleeping under the covers, while Richard was cool cooking in the kitchen, even though only cooking fried rice was special for both of them. Richard served the food he cooked at the dinner table and went to bed, awakening Niken who still looked sound. Maybe tired after hypnotherapy yesterday.
Richard uncovers the curtains covering the windowpanes and a tinge of sun bursting into the contest. Niken blinked his eyes because of the glare
When he opened his eyes he found Richard's smiling face before him.
"Wake up baby, breakfast is ready, the eggs without white beef is ready with your favorite fried rice."
Richard pulled Niken to wake up. But when Niken pulls him to bed, Richard falls over his lover.
"You're so hot with that honey apron." seduced Niken.
Richard laughed amusedly and threw an apron along with all his clothes. Niken laughed happily. They blend the beauty of the morning perfectly under a warm tinge of sun touching the skin.
Both of them were stunned when they saw the wall clock, it was past 12 noon. Luckily this weekend, there is no important schedule for both.
Niken picked up a t-shirt and shorts then put them on, tied her hair high and carelessly, walked towards the kitchen to make a cup of coffee. Richard got away from the contest in just shorts, picked up a towel and immediately pulled Niken who was sipping hot coffee.
The two bathed together with the intention to shorten the time, but the opposite happened.
The newlyweds seem to forget Richard's father's threats and ignore his mother's warnings. They enjoy being together regardless of all the difficulties that might soon lurk them.
After taking a bath, the two faced the fried rice that was reheated.
Niken voraciously ate fried rice and the yolk of her cow's eyes, while the whites were consumed by her husband.
"Before when I was a kid I had a friend who liked cow's eggs only the yolk like you, and I was always only white" Richard said with a smile.
"Male or female?" ask Niken briefly.
"Woman, my first love." Richard cuek said.
Niken scowled with jealousy. Face pouting.
"Hem, beware if you turn to her again, or don't-do it Elfa?"
Richard shook his head, his eyes turning dark.
"He died in a great fire with his parents."
"I am sorry honey." said Niken slowly. She approached her husband and hugged the man's head on his chest.
"It's okay dear, it's all long gone, it's just that the memory recording of him letting go of my hand to let me survive makes me feel so guilty. Only one other person could go with the rescue team, and he pushed me in, and let go of his tiny fingertips. After that I was unconscious
I don't know what happened to that little girl. His name is Kinan."
Niken and Richard resumed breakfast. The sad story about the little girl suddenly made Niken like disturbed, many times he wanted to ask but was undone.
"My dear, Niken, don't ever disappear from my life yeah, I don't know how to get back to normal if that's what you do, don't die without my permission." Richard looked gently at his wife's face. One hand held his wife's fingers. Niken nodded and finished his last mouthful of fried rice, sipped orange juice and moved to sit on Richard's lap.
"Dear, I won't die so easily." Niken lowered his head and kissed Richard.
They hugged each other.

Upon his arrival at home, Richard takes Niken to see his mother.
Ms. Minati just shook her head and looked very worried.
"Where's Mom's dad?" Richard looked softly at the woman who had brought him to the face of this earth.
"He's waiting for you in the dining room, all gathered together including your cousin Om Hardy and Septian."
Mom pulled Niken and whispered in her ear.
"You're so brave to throw yourself into this family, if it wasn't for Richard, I'd have run away a long time ago."
Niken stared softly at her in-laws. Then return the whisper.
"One thing's the same, ma'am, we did it for the same person, I ventured for Richard."
Richard smiled seeing the two women he loved so much seem so close. Although Richard did not know what the two were talking about, but by looking at Niken's face that looked without pressure it made him believe everything was fine.
Just as they were about to enter the dining room when Niken seemed surprised to see someone standing at the corner of the dining table in black blezer official clothes, the woman whom Niken saw was unaware of Niken's presence. A long table filled with food that was arranged very neatly, some female servants stood in the corner of the room. While Richard's father, and several family members sat waiting for Richard. Father was surprised that Richard was not alone as he had commanded, but with his wife Niken.
"How dare you bring this obscure woman here." Dad stood with his index finger pointing at Niken. Her eyes fiery.
The woman wearing a black blezer turned to Niken. He gasped in shock as if seeing a ghost in broad daylight. Niken and the woman stared at each other but the woman pretended not to know Niken, she turned around leaving the dining room in the presence of several servants.
"She's my wife, a very important part of my life, not a woman as clearly as I said."
Great quarrels occurred in the dining room, no one touched the delicious food that was held at the table, oh wrong Ibu Minati turned out to spoon rice and side dishes into the plate. He bribed the food as if not affected by the chaos that occurred. I left the dining table with a red face.
"Wait for you in Richard's office, sign your waiver!"
Dad threw the napkin in Bu Minati's face. The middle-aged woman who was still very beautiful did not budge and still enjoyed her dinner.
Richard follows his father, while Om Hardy and Septian return home. Niken went to the kitchen and met a woman he knew well. Looks like the lady was the butler in this magnificent mansion.
"Aunty Cintya, why is Auntie here?"
Niken greeted the woman who turned out to be his mother, who had long abandoned him and claimed to be married.
"Niken please, pretend not to know me. You wouldn't know what could happen to you if ...."
Niken was stunned to hear Aunt Cyntia's unfinished speech because suddenly Richard came clutching her fingers.
"You know each other?" ask Richard.
Aunt Cyntia shook her head quickly.
"This lady asks for a glass of young master's tea." said Aunt Cyntia. Richard looked at Niken and Niken nodded.
"I was very surprised by the quarrel in the dining room. So the taste of a glass of tea can be soothing." elak Niken perfectly.
Richard nodded and picked up the glass then brewed the best tea for his wife.
The two went home without saying goodbye to Dad. Only I Minati brought them to the gate.
