Surviving In The Middle of a Zombie Plague
New hope
The sun has risen in this chaotic country.night has changed to morning, I woke up from my sleep and saw sam who was driving a car after last night we changed drivers. rose and Mika in the back look still good and are playing in their dreams. To reduce sleepiness and discuss the plan I also started the conversation with sam.
I asked about sam's seriousness with rose, because I didn't want the only relative I had and remember me falling in love with the wrong person. sam also responded seriously to prove his seriousness with rose. I also discussed about the zombie bite wound on rose's hand, sam was frank that he already knew even he knew this was the 2nd zombie bite for rose and oddly rose did not turn into a zombie.

When we were all shocked and mika woke up, it turns out rose pointed at the bridge that was lifted and we can not go through. Sam who knew the situation immediately explained to us.

"how do you find that bridge?" ask mika.
"there must be an operator room or lever that can descend the bridge" said sam.

sam and I got out of the car looking for a device to take down the bridge, armed with a baseball bat, we looked around the bridge, it was dirty, messy, and it's quiet that's all we see, but I see there's a small office near the bridge.

when I got there I saw there was like a button that can be pressed by us but at the bottom it looks like there is a key whose head is broken which looks like we need to turn this key and push the button to you can lower that bridge.
while I was thinking......
BBBAAAAKKKK...... BBBBIIII...... BBBUUUKKKK....
sam's voice was beating up the approaching zombies.
the situation also became panicked because the zombies began to surround us and from afar I saw the zombies were approaching the car.
I attacked the zombies screaming from far away......
immediately start and run the car and stop near us.
"WOY LU LAIN AKA TU ZOMBIE CEPET MACHINE AMA CAVE" cried sam.
I immediately tried to turn the key with my broken head using my fingernails and it felt very painful, soon I finally managed to turn the key and when I pressed the button there......

the sound of rose screaming I saw was bitten again on the part by the zombies trying to protect sam.

on one side of the bridge it finally came down, blindly I attacked the zombies that approached us. after a safe state, I was sure, sam took Rose into the car and I immediately went to the car and drove the car to pass the bridge.....
DAMIKNNNN.... it turns out there are so many zombies on any of this bridge we also can not go back to the back because there are already many zombies there. sam and I got out of the car to see the situation.
"do you have a plan?" I asked sam.

I who was tired of all this had thought that dying was better, but at that time arrived via a helicopter above us. at first the helicopter did not realize us and just flew away, sam who shouted could not make the helicopter realize us.
again the situation became resigned but when resigned I saw rose and mika who had been limp and frightened with the zombies, I so remembered that our goal is to survive together.
I immediately grabbed the gun from the car drawer and pointed it at the helicopter.
"what are you doing?" ask sam.
"i'll try to keep us alive!!!" I answered while pointing the gun at the helicopter.
DOORRR.... DOOORRR.... DDDOOOORRR...
the blind sound of a gun from me wishing for a bullet to hit the helicopter and make the helicopter aware of our presence.
because I thought things were sorted out, there was no hope, the zombies had approached Sam and invited him to hug, thank him for everything and apologize to mika and rose.
but when that hope was lost, suddenly there was a sound of gunfire from the helicopter towards the zombies.the helicopter was approaching us, the helicopter came, we are excited and grateful for the fact that hope is still there.
