"Max, follow me quickly, before we actually die here" Zen said as he heard a brief growl from the direction of the hospital gate.

Max who heard that snorted softly then tightened his embrace to Lin who was in his carrier.

"Move faster than to speak such an obscure thing!" said Max who was met with a soft laugh by Zen and accelerated his run to an access he had left before as access.

...| (❁❁) |...

"Why don't you say if the access you mean is by crawling through a bush that even has a small hole like this?!" max yelled with annoyance after he finished struggling to crawl in a hole that is almost the same as his body shape.

"Diminish your voice if you don't want us all to be finished!" zen reminded Max who was still focused on cleaning his clothes that had to get dirty again because he had to crawl in a small hole.

"I never expected that you would also follow the escape plan I predicted, so don't blame me" Zen continued, which made Max grunt softly.

"Sister Zen, do we just need to get inside this window?" asked Lin after he finished paying attention around then glued towards the window which was only slightly larger than the hole in the bushes he passed earlier.

"A hundred percent for you, Lin. This window is what connects the outside of the hospital with the inside of the hospital" Zen replied.

"Are you sure this is a window? I think it looks like a big ventilation hole compared to a window," Max said as he looked at the window.

"It's a small window, isn't it one of the air vents?" zen asked nonchalantly which made Max look at her in annoyance.

"You understand what I mean, don't you?!" max said with a frustrated cry at the end of his sentence.

"How many times have I told you not to make a loud noise! You really want us to be food for those dirty zombies?" zen asked in annoyance.

"Please reflect? What was that if it wasn't screaming, huh?" max asked in annoyance which made Zen snort softly.

"Emm, brother? When are we going to go inside?" asked Lin confusedly which made the quarrel useless the two of them came to a halt for a moment.

"Of course, right now, I don't want my head to beat dizzy just from talking to him for too long" said Max, who is now walking towards the large air vent and trying to open it from the outside.

"What do you mean by that sentence you just said?!" zen asked in disbelief.

"If your brain is still functioning I think you'll understand what I mean" Max said, prompting Zen to clench his hands tightly.

'Would it be okay if I threw a punch at his head once? It should be fine, given that his mouth is very annoying, Zen's mind is calculating.

"Stop whatever you're planning in your brain, get inside before the slum zombies find us" Max said, pointing to the room inside with his thumb.

"I'll go inside but after doing this," said Zen slowly then suddenly crouched on the ground right where the bushes they had hollowed before just to make the entrance to the large vent.

Slowly, Zen's hands began to look for something in his bag and before long there was a small brown bag in his hand that even Max looked at curiously at the bag.

"What's inside?" asked Max out of curiosity.

"Only a chemical can accelerate the rate of plant growth" Zen said as he opened the small bag and placed it on the ground he had dug by hand.

"What is ZPT?" ask Max with a frown.

"It can be said like that but it's not the same, you could say if this is the fake ZPT that I developed, you know, of course this will not be the same as the original but it also has enough uses to accelerate the rate of plant growth and make these bushes close the holes we made quickly," zen said at length and then patted his knees which now had the ground there.

"I think you're free enough to be able to develop things like that?" satirize Max with his smile.

"I'll take it as a compliment" said Zen then walked into the large ventilation hole and entered it easily.

"Now it's your turn" Zen said with an end to his annoying laughter.

Max who heard that could only hold back his anger and immediately positioned his body in a hole that was only slightly larger than his body and entered it with great difficulty.

"Sister Max, are you okay?" asked Lin attentively after seeing Max who had managed to enter with a breath of breath.

"Huhhh, I'm good, just need extra patience to get inside and a little pressure on my chest to stop breathing for a few minutes" Max said, pointing out a little using hand gestures.

"Don't pay too much attention to him Lin, he's like this just because he's too fat," Zen said indifferently who was reciprocated with a look of disbelief by Max.

"Whose body shape do you mean fat?! My body shape is athletic!" said Max loudly who had to make Zen close his ears if he still wanted normalcy in his hearing device.

"If it's not fat then what?" zen asked in annoyance.

"Again I'm not fat, you're too thin" refuted Max who now makes Zen look at him with disbelief.

"Can Zen and Max stop fighting? What if the sound of your quarrel makes those zombies walk here?" asked Lin who was already a little saturated with their quarrel.

"If they walk here then we just need to run," Zen said leisurely which made Lin look at him strangely.

'Is he really Zen's brother?' inner Lin was confused.

"Lin, let's ignore him and rush out of here before you go along like him," Max said with a doubtful nod by Lin.

"Yeah, what do you mean? You have to reattach the vent cover to Max" Zen said, pointing to the same non-closed hole

"Indeed the zombie has an intelligence capable of making it think of crawling past this?" sneer Max slowly but still do as you're told.

"Didn't Brother Zen say to himself that zombies are blind? If they're blind how do they find this hole?" asked Lin puzzledly after finishing racking his brain to think.

"They are blind but that doesn't mean they can't find it with other body tools" Zen said slowly.

"If their sense of smell is so sharp, why don't they find us?" continued Lin as he sensed something strange.

"Do you know the name of the bushes out there?" ask Zen.

"The bushes we've been through?" asked Lin back to make sure.

"Yes, do you know?" asked Zen back who was now replied with a soft belt by Lin.

"Seeing if the bushes have white flowers and black berries in them, I guess it's a privet," max said after he finished doing the work to close the ventilation hole he had installed with something heavy behind him.

"You know how many it looks like? But how come I never found your name on the school board?" asked Zen who made Max grunt slowly.

"If you forget, I'm a random kid who even entered the classroom just a few times, you might be able to count it with your fingers" Max said, walking towards them.

"Well, I forgot about that. But why do you know this? Did you learn it?" zen asked as he walked towards the roof.

"Not really, my sister is a plant lover, I guess I unconsciously remembered one of her long lectures on plants" Max said casually.

"I think your memory is very good," said Zen slowly then turned to look at Lin who was walking beside him.

"As Max said, it, privet or commonly known as the family shrub is a plant that produces a thick fragrant aroma and I just tried my calculations as to whether it is enough to dispel our scent or not," said Zen which made Lin nod slowly.

"If so, does it work? Because none of the zombies are aware of us there," Lin said excitedly.

"I don't think that's very valid, considering that I don't hear their growling around us" Max said, expressing his opinion that made Lin lethargic.

"What Brother Max said is also true," murmured Lin in a desperate tone.

"Well, I think I'll do some more experiments on that later, if it turns out that the experiment is positive, we'll also get a very good trump card" Zen said.

"Can I participate in this experiment?" asked Lin after getting his spirit again.

"Of course," Zen said calmly which made Lin screech happily.

"Let's stop our conversation here and go up on the roof immediately when you're done closing all access on this floor," said Max who was nodded by the two people and accelerated their movements in order to catch up with Leo who was alone on the roof.

...----------------...

"When will they arrive?" murmured softly as he glanced briefly downwards which was now filled with zombies and turned his gaze back towards the tightly locked roof door.

"They're okay, aren't they?" leo muttered with worry.

'They should be fine because there is Max and Zen's brother there, ' Leo's mind slowly.

//Tock... Geck... Geck...

"Leo it's me! Can you open the door?!" max asked with a loud enough shout that made Lin and Zen involuntarily move to cover both of their ears.

"Can't you knock on that door without yelling?!" zen asked in annoyance.

"If I hadn't yelled my voice wouldn't have been heard up there and maybe Leo would have thought that zombies were knocking on the door!" max said cynically.

"Which zombie can knock on the door with such a regular tempo?!" reply Zen with no less cynical.

Lin who saw them fighting back could only sigh slowly.

'I'm the only one acting like an adult here!' inner Lin with a proud smile.

//Clack........

"Sister Max! Brother Zen! Lin!" leo exclaimed with a bright smile on his face.

"Sister Leo! I miss my sister!" said Lin while hugging Leo's body.

Leo who received an impromptu hug from Lin only laughed softly and replied tightly.

"You're okay, aren't you?" leo asked after taking off his arms.

"Yes! I'm fine, Brother Zen and brother Max are protecting me until I'm fine" explained Lin who made Leo nod slowly.

"Sister Zen, brother Max said -" Leo's speech was interrupted when he saw Zen and Max staring cynically at each other.

"What's wrong with them?" leo asked in a soft whisper.

"I don't know, but since then they have always fought just because of a small thing," explained Lin who also followed in whispering.

"Oh, is it possible that this is called a quarrel between friends? I heard that between friends often quarrel because of trivial things and go back to make up as if they never quarrel," said Leo innocently.

"I think it's true" said Lin agreeing while looking at the two new sisters who had fought again on different topics.
