"You will get that kind of curse again in the future," explained Zen who made Max nod slowly.

"I know that and I don't mind it" explained Max, who made Zen smile with satisfaction.

"Then navigate this car to the nearest minimarket," said Zen who was nod by Max.

“I thought you were going to ask him,” Max said back to the story about Lia.

“Take? Who do you mean?” pretending not to know.

“Huh, of course that woman,” Max said with a slow snort.

“Lia? I am not interested in him,” said Zen while looking outwards filled with zombies that started chasing them, of course, all the zombies have now been hit by Max who brought the car at a fairly fast speed.

“But he's useful,” reply Max.

“I know, haven't I told you before? I don't really like his nature,” Zen explained.

“But its nature it can be changed,” explains Max.

“Changed? How to?” ask Zen.

“Didn't you see the look in his eyes? It seems like he was too shaken about something. Plus I didn't see the brunette, it seemed like she had already turned into a zombie, ” Max's analysis made Zen roll his eyes lazily.

“Distort his emotions to get his strength? I'm sorry but I don't want to be more of a demon,” explained Zen who made Max sneer softly.

“It looks like your humanity is still there huh? Although only a few percent remains,” said Max ended with a slow murmur.

“Humanity feelings huh? But I just don't want to be more demonic compared to now,” murmured Zen quietly which left Max speechless.

“Well, whatever you say it is,” said Max with a faint smile and stopped his car.

“We have arrived at minimarket, do you want to go down as well?” max asked while opening his seatbelt.

“Of course I went down, I suggested it anyway, didn't I?” asked Zen who now also opened his seatbelt.

“Then don't trouble me,” said Max who was replied with a slow snort by Zen.

“We see who troubles whom,” is clear Zen who is reciprocated with a small laugh by Max.

The two teenagers quickly entered the minimarket, which was watched by three zombies after getting out of the car. Max who saw it began to run towards the two zombies that were on the side of his right while Zen took care of one zombie on his left side.

The zombies that realized the two of them started to incubate slowly while heading towards them with their mouths wide open as if preparing to bite them.

Max who saw it began to direct his baton stick towards the zombie mouth to prevent them from biting it.

“Max! don't get hit by their saliva! Their saliva is the one that carries the virus so that it can turn humans into zombies,” explained Zen in the middle of his fight.

“Alright!” reply Max while shouting and then raise his legs to kick the zombie back.

Without giving a pause, Max's hand began to float his baton stick towards the zombie head with all his strength to stick in the zombie head.

Shaking, he now pulled the stick back and looked at the one zombie that was close to him with his mouth wide open which made Max frown in disgust.

‘Sial, my hand is difficult to control,’ inner Max when feeling his hand still shaking lightly.

Zen who saw that immediately ran towards Max with an iron rod in his hand that was preparing to hit the zombie head.

“Didn't I tell you not to trouble me?” asked Zen who made Max grunt slowly.

“My hand is shaking because it's been fighting more zombies than you're fighting,” Max's alibi while taking his eyes off.

Zen who heard Max's reason just sneered slowly and slowly shuffled the iron stick in his hand so that the black blood that was there fell on the ground.

“Clean your stick baton, I do not want if the zombie saliva goes into one of the wounds you receive to make you a zombie,” Zen said.

“Of course I will clean it and again I remind, if I have no injuries at all. It is true that my clothes are full of blood, but this is not my blood but the blood of those zombies,” Max explained with annoyance.

“Yes, yes, it's up to you,” said Zen as he walked towards the minimarket.

“Yak! Waitme! Do you want to be a zombie prey in there huh?!” max asked as he walked up to Zen.

“Sorry but I'm strong enough to protect myself,” explains Zen who made Max roll his eyes lazily.

‘Hah, if you are strong enough you will not need me,’ inner Max while looking towards the hand of Zen trembling slowly.

“I'll check it inside to see how many zombies there are,” explained Max then peek into the minimarket with the door slightly he opened.

“Is there a zombie there?” asked Zen who saw Max closing the door again minimarket.

“There was, but there was only one there, it seemed like the customers had already exited first by then,” said Max while staring at the zombies behind the minimarket door with a hand that began to knock on the door strongly.

“Then you open the door and I'll hit that zombie on the head,” explains Zen who makes Max shake his head slowly.

“No, you hold this door and I will hit that zombie. Don't you realize your hands are still shaking like that?” max asked while looking at Zen's hand.

“Huh! Don't you realize that your hands are also-“ Zen speech was cut off when Max raised both hands towards Zen who has now stopped shaking.

“I'm not weak like you,” said Max with his innocent look to make Zen growl annoyed.

“Huh! You monster, then step aside from there and get ready to hit that zombie,” Zen said as he replaced Max to block the door with his back.

Max started taking a swing to get ready to hit the zombie.

“Don't take too long, we are being hunted by time,” Zen said while worrying about the condition of Lin and Leo at home.

“I know, quickly open the door, I'm ready,” said Max who made Zen immediately pull the door until the zombie was a little dazed when he felt the barrier disappeared.

With all his strength, Max again threw a punch on the zombie head to make the zombie die for the second time.

“Of course because it's me who does it,” reply Max who makes Zen roll his eyes lazy.

“Let's go inside before our scent becomes the target of zombies out there,” said Zen walking in followed by Max behind him.

“What are the things you need?” max asked as he opened his big bag after entering the minimarket.

“Instant food as well as some durable canned food and biscuits. Ah, prioritize filling food,” said Zen who made Max nod slowly.

“Then I will check the warehouse to see the stock of this minimarket,” Zen said.

“Do you need company?” max asked which made Zen shake slowly.

“No need, I can do it myself,” Zen said then walked away to the minimarket warehouse.

...----------------...

“Ck, where is this warehouse light switch?” murmured Zen in annoyance.

“Why should this warehouse light also die?” ask Zen slowly.

“Ah, I finally found the light switch,” said Zen happily and then started turning on the light.

‘I've guessed if in the warehouse more available food I need!’ inner Zen happily looked greedily at the instant noodle cardboard that was there.

“How much do I need ya?” mummified Zen.

‘This district will be blown up three months later, three months is equivalent to 90 days and just in case I will count it as 93 days. One dus of this instant noodle contains 40 pieces, my total members there are 4 people plus we will eat this once a day, once a day, of course I can't let us keep eating instant noodles forever considering Leo and Lin are still kids, I have to balance the nutrition in their diet.’

‘Taste enough with two dus instant noodles and one dus tteobokki this instant,’ inner Zen when looking at the instant tteobokki dust containing 20.

‘Given that Lin is very fond of tteobokki I think it is okay to give this to him, although instant tteobokki is also very bad for a small child's food,’ inner Zen while lifting all three boxes.

‘Ah, I almost forgot to take milk for those two children especially Lin who is 7 years old, I will tell Max to take it, I will take it,’ Inner Zen then walk out with all three dus in his hand.

“Are you done?” asked Zen when he saw Max playing his phone.

“Already, I have put all the food in my bag and I think this will last for the next month,” said Max then put his phone back in his pants pocket.

“What's still no signal?” ask Zen.

“Of course.”

“Who did you contact?” asked Zen doubtfully.

“I just sent a message to my stepbrother,” Max said indifferently which made Zen frown.

‘Sister stepbrother? Does Max have a half-sister? In my previous life he had never offended this half-brother issue at all even in the book was also unwritten, ’ Inner Zen wondered.

“Is there nothing more you need?” max asked who made Zen regain consciousness from his thoughts.

“Ah, I almost forgot. Did you put milk in there?” zen asked ignoring his still curious mind.

“For your two sisters?” max asked who was replied with a small nod by Zen.

“I just took some white milk. I don't know their preferences so I take preferences from the internet, don't blame me if they don't like it.” explains Max.

“It's okay, after all I'm sure if they don't choose food or drink,” Zen replied that made Max nod.

“Then will we not take drinks at all?” max asked, carrying his heavy bag.

“It was not necessary but just in case please take 4 big bottles of mineral water there, ,” clear Zen which makes Max immediately take that bottle of mineral.

“I've taken it,” Max said with four bottles of mineral water on his arm.

“Then let's go to the car immediately before our car is mobbed by zombies,” said Zen then began to step foot into the car.

“Oho, quite lucky because there are no zombies around the car,” Max said with a look of wonder.

“Not good if there are no zombies as long as we go?” asked Zen nonchalantly.

“Well, I consider this to be good luck,” Max said as he placed his big bag in the back seat.

‘Of course there are no zombies around here because I used the power of my eyes, ' Zen said as he looked back at the supermarket that had no purple mist at all there.

“Omong by the way have you predicted this, considering if we have changed the minimarket three times before?” ask Max while running his car.

“You can think of it that way,” said Zen indifferently.

Well, they've gone to three different minimarkets the place before. When Max wanted to get down to check on the situation there, he was stopped by Zen. Zen straightforwardly said to look for other minimarkets which of course was reciprocated with a look of wonder by Max.

Not wanting to interfere and refute his words, Max immediately went to another minimarket until he arrived at the minimarket now which was not protested by Zen so they could search for supplies in this minimarket.

Actually, the reason Zen refused the three minimarkets was because Zen saw a thin purple mist circulating around the minimarket.

Not wanting to take a risk, of course Zen told Max to change it to arrive at this minimarket.

Although this minimarket still has a thin purple mist but only a little so that makes Zen bet to go to this minimarket and as before the result, as a result, they only fought 4 zombies in the minimarket so as not to endanger both their lives.

“Should we go to your apartment?” max asked who was replied with a nod by Zen.

“Sure, let's go to XX street where my apartment is located,” said Zen who was embraced by Max.

With constant speed, Max starts moving the car while crashing into the zombies that are blocking the way his car.
