Feel the Qi

After arriving at the door of his room. Dong Feng and Sung Lin immediately entered after the door was opened. The area of the room is not too big but also not too small. With one bed there and a table with a chair near the window. At the table is already available a plate of fruit that seems to be served to guest inn.

"Well now try to sit cross-legged on the floor and try to feel the energy around you !" dong Feng's orders to Sung Lin.

Without a second thought Sung Lin immediately did as Dong Feng commanded. He did sit cross-legged facing Dong Feng who was sitting on a chair by the window.

Sung Lin closed his eyes and started trying to sense the energy around him. 'Energy Qi... Energy Qi... Feeling the Qi's energy Sung Lin kept trying and trying until it didn't feel like the time had gone by 5 minutes.

"How ? Can you feel it already ?" dong Feng asked while eating an apple.

Sung Lin opened his eyes again, "Not uncle, even though I've tried but I can't feel the slightest bit of energy that uncle said". Sung Lin felt angry with himself who was unable to sense the Qi energy. Was his talent bad so that he could not feel the Qi around ? Sung Lin kept questioning that to himself.

Dong Feng saw Sung Lin become annoyed with himself. Dong Feng immediately finished his apple and spoke to Sung Lin. "Well if sensing Qi energy would be that easy then everyone in this world would have already become a cultivator".

Sung Lin stopped grumbling and listened to what Dong Feng was talking about.

"Actually to feel the Qi energy one had to first open up their meridians which were still blocked. If there was anyone who could already sense Qi energy without doing that, then that person could be considered a genius" Dong Feng told Sung Lin.

Dong Feng slowly started walking towards Sung Lin. He sat behind Sung Lin to help open the blocked meridians. "Strict your back and face forward ! Don't move a single inch because I'll help you open up your blocked meridians".

Dong Feng started to poke some spots which caused Sung Lin to be unable to sense spiritual energy. Some of those points are on the upper and lower back. The feeling as the meridians were forcefully opened made Sung Lin a little sick but it was still able to hold him back.

"Now can you feel the Qi around you ?" dong Feng asked after finishing opening Sung Lin's entire blocked meridian.

Sung Lin closed his eyes again. Faintly he sensed some invisible energy that was around him. The energy was warm with the comfort it gave.

"Uncle now I feel something warm around me. Is this what is called Qi energy ?"

"Yes, that is how Qi energy is. Everyone feels differently about the energy around them. The energy can be warm or cold and can even be hot like the sun. Now you suck that energy into your body and do it continuously until it forms an ocean" Dong Feng said.

"Good uncle !" Sung Lin immediately did as he was told. He began to put that warm energy into his body.

Dong started to stand up and sit on the mattress while watching Sung Lin practice.

The next morning Sung Lin was seen still practicing absorbing Qi energy into his body. He was very serious about doing his first practice as a cultivator.

"HUANG..."

"Goodoo's had enough practice for today. Let's get down quickly and continue on towards the city !" dong Feng said as he stuffed some apples on the table into his pants pocket.

Sung Lin immediately opened his eyes and stopped his training upon hearing the voice from Dong Feng.

The two of them finally descended down the stairs until they reached the innkeeper's place to return the room key they had used.

"Nona~ this is the key to the room I returned. And thanks for the service".

Just as he was about to leave, Dong Feng's hand was stopped by the innkeeper's woman and did not allow Dong Feng to leave.

"Sir do you remember the promise you made last night !?" The innkeeper woman looked angry. Although he smiled but the look of the face displayed can be guessed by the person who saw it.

"Ee.. Of course I remember ! How could I forget !"

"Then where's the friend you meant last night !?"

Dong Feng became confused as to what reason he would wear. Now he had completely run out of ideas to lie and look for another alsan. If it says that his friend will come during the day then it is tantamount to uncovering his own lies.

Looking at Dong Feng who was in trouble, Sung Lin tried to find an idea to help his temporary teacher to get out of the inn. He looked outside the inn and saw a person who seemed to be heading here to enter.

"No miss ! Miss misunderstood !" refute Dong Feng anxiously.

"What's wrong with understanding !? Clearly the friend you were referring to did not come !" the female inn worker yelled angrily at Dong Feng for having dared to lie to him.

Dong Feng was still looking for what alsan he should use to fool the woman in front of him. "That's. ee... actually..."

Not yet had time to give an excuse, suddenly there was the voice of Sung Lin who called out to him from behind. "Uncle !"

Dong Feng immediately turned around and was surprised by what Sung Lin brought. Surprised that it turned out that Sung Lin understood Dong Feng very well. Quickly Dong Feng instantly stood beside the person that Sung Lin was carrying.

"Look, miss, I told you I didn't cheat you. This is the friend I mean. He was just lost when he wanted to find this inn, but luckily my student came and brought him here. Now that my friend has come, then I and my students excuse me first".

Dong Feng quickly grabbed Sung Lin by the hand and ran out of the inn leaving the two people still confused by the sudden situation they were in.
