Suddenly Mama

Official Mom For Shila

Tonight it rained so much, plus lightning here and there. Gendis who was reading a book in bed, seemed to gasp when she heard it. She tied her hair and prepared to get out of bed.

Kaivan who looks still struggling with his laptop on the Sofa is aware of Gendis who is preparing to leave the room. Since the incident accidentally both ‘ hugged’ while sleeping, Kaivan finally bought a sofa that can be turned into a bed if pressed one of the levers to be placed in his room. So when both ‘forced’ sleep in one room, Gendis will sleep in a mattress while Kaivan on a sofa bed.

“Where are you going?” kaivan asked as he saw Gendis start walking towards the door of the room.

“I want to go to Shila Mas's room, she must be afraid to hear lightning and big rain.” Gendis was worried.

“Not Shila still ngelarang you sleep with her in her room?” kaivan reminded.

“I want to see it for a while.” Sahut Gendis insisted. Kaivan removes the laptop from his lap and follows Gendis to Shila's room.

And sure enough, when Gendis opened Shila's room, Shila was crying curled up in her bed. He could see it clearly, although the lighting in Shila's room was minimal as all the headlights were turned off, leaving only a dim sleeping lamp.

Gendis who saw him immediately approached Shila, after previously he turned on all his bedroom lights.

“Shila Darling.” call Gendis soft while wiping Shila's back still curled up in the blanket.

Hearing Gendis's voice, Shila quickly pulled away the blanket that wrapped herself and immediately hugged Gendis. “Mama.. Shila's scared!!” shila said hysterically as she sobbed and hugged her tightly.

Gendis's guess was right, Shila was very frightened to hear the sound of lightning and heavy rain tonight, moreover she was sleeping alone. Just a moment.. What did Shila call her? Mama?! Gendis' body suddenly stiffened when she recalled Shila who called her Mama, her heart was mixed which was certainly more fun there.

Shila seemed to relax her embrace and looked at Gendis. “Shila may from now on call Mama?” shila asked with a puffy face.

Apparently true, Gendis was not being misheard let alone fantasized, Shila did call her by the name of Mama. Then, Gendis was seen staring at Kaivan at a glance, and Kaivan returned the look of his eyes while nodding lightly.

“Bby darling.” Gendis replied as she gently wiped the tears from Shila's face.

It seemed that Gendis had never been this Mama for Gendis, even though she had been married to Kaivan, he just feels to be ‘adult’ who is responsible for accompanying and looking after Shila. He never thought it turned out to be a word ‘Mama’ influence is so great for him and Shila.

On the other hand, Kaivan looks at the two women who somehow become very important to him. He alternately looked at Shila and Gendis who were hugging. He secretly approves of his Mother and Father's wishes that Gendis has completed his small family.

“So tonight Mama slept with Shila right?” rengek Shila while taking the arm of the spoiled Gendis, whereas the middle Gendis was a little overwhelmed carrying a tray containing a bowl of macaroni soup for their breakfast this morning. Lucky Kaivan came and helped him.

“Loh instead of Shila already dares to sleep alone? Don't you want to see Mama again?” ledek Kaivan to Shila. The child immediately pursed his lips, his typical expression when annoyed.

“Cerus Papa how? Whose sleep is it?” asked Kaivan with a face pretending to be sad.

Gendis seemed to be in shock at Kaivan's words, with a reflex he looked at her husband as if asking why Kaivan should tease Shila like that, as if Kaivan did not want to be left asleep by him.

The real Kaivan was aware of the meaning of Gendis' gaze, only returning it with a small smile.

Shila seemed to roll her eyes, her typical expression when thinking. “Eumm... How about sleeping with Mama over and over? Same Shila four days, same Papa three days?” tawar Shila tried to negotiate with Kaivan.

“Kok Mama slept with Shilanya more? Same little Papa?” kaivan protests to Shila.

Gendis appeared to round her eyes again when she saw Kaivan. Mas Kaivan why the hell?

“Iih... Papa dong with his son! Shila is Mama's son!” sahut Shila was stubborn.

“Loh Papa will be her husband Mama!” sahut Kaivan is as stubborn as he is.

Shila still pursed her lips in annoyance. “Ya is already so.. Mama slept with Shila three days and Papa three days! One more day is up to Mama who chooses to sleep with whom.” said Shila resigned who was immediately greeted with a thumbs up from Kaivan.

Gendis seemed to shake her head to see Shila's quarrel with Kaivan, Father and son are indeed the same, stubborn and difficult to defeat the two are so similar.

When Shila had walked first towards the car, Gendis quickly approached Kaivan “Kyou kok say so anyway Mas.is it okay if I sleep again with Shila?” asked Gendis astonished in a half-whispered voice to Kaivan.

Kaivan who suddenly found his distance to be too close to Gendis, made him scowl in shock but became delighted beyond measure. In fact, so happy, he was silent for a moment.

Kaivan, who found Gendis's confused expression funny, rattled Gendis' hair with anxiety. “Just as Shila said, you slept three days with Shila and three days with me. In one day you are free to choose who will sleep with, but.. I hope you'll be more like me!” said Kaivan while smiling ignorantly and passed away after Shila who had been waiting in the car. Indeed, since living together back in Jakarta, Kaivan is committed to taking Shila to school every morning and the pick up part is Gendis's duty.
