Richard and His Heart

Richard and the family arrive at his luxury apartment. Since arriving, Richard looked at the entire apartment while hoping to remember a little memory of him in the apartment. But again Richard could not remember. He walked towards his room, his clothes still neatly arranged with some books and documents on the nightstand near his bed. When opening a book, Richard frowned because there was a teaching schedule on campus. Richard was also confused by himself and thought of what reason he would become a lecturer. He tried to force his brain to think but could not remember it, like a thick, dark fog that covered his mind.

"Bang, it's time for us to go to the hospital" said Della from the front door.

Richard put the book back on the nightstand and walked towards the lounge where his parents were. Arriving in the lounge room, Julian and Joana were waiting for him.

"Are you ready, Richard?" ask Julian.

"Already, Pa," replied Richard.

Julian and Joana walk while telling stories, looking happy to see the two. Richard and Della followed both of her parents from behind. They went down to the basement of the apartment and got into the car and headed to Hospital B. Richard along with Della one car driven by Richard while Julian and Joana with the driver who replaced Fabian.

Fifteen minutes later they arrived at the hospital. They're headed to Melati's room where Fabian is being treated.

"Richard..." Richard stopped his steps. Julian and Joana also quit. Della looked at the person approaching them like she was holding back a cry.

"Sorry, who are you?" joana asked who had just seen the man's face.

"I'm Siska's mother. Have you forgotten the mother of your lover, Richard?" Rini asked Richard with a sad look.

Joana and Julian were shocked. They didn't expect to meet their prospective parents in the hospital. Richard simply frowned not answering or denying Rini's words.

"Sorry, Mom. My son recently had an accident and lost his memory, including with your daughter as well." Joana explains to Rini because Richard is silent.

"So, I think your relationship is over because you have not visited our house and asked for permission to take Siska on the road. And that also makes my daughter look sad these days." Rini looked shocked and sad.

"I'm sorry my son, ma'am. But after this hospital we intend to talk about the relationship between our son and Mother's daughter." Joana looks friendly, motherly and very dignified worthy of being the great mistress of Pratomo.

"I've heard it from my husband, Mom. But.." Rini paused her sentence, her face looked sad.

"What's up, Mom?" joana asked who saw the look of sadness on Rini's face. Julian was also worried about what Rini would say. Richard only looked for a moment but returned with his own thoughts.

"Siska's father was in an accident, ma'am. So the possibility of us talking about this is delayed." Rini looks sad.

Joana and Julian were shocked. Only Richard was feeling mediocre, he also felt strange with himself when he heard his future father-in-law in an accident but his heart did not feel pity in the slightest.

"Patient and hopefully Mr. Julius will recover quickly well, Mom," said Joana softly.

"Then where is Siska?" asked Richard who had been silent since.

Looks like my plan will go smoothly, Rini's mind is happy.

Siska stopped her steps, her face turned sad. He looked at Richard's face, then ran up to Richard and hugged him tightly. Her tears broke in Richard's arms.

"Why did you just come? Where have you been all this time? I thought you'd forgotten me? I'm so worried.." Siska was crying in Richard's arms.

Richard did not return Siska's embrace. He also did not reply, silent like a statue that had a breath.

If he's my lover, then why doesn't my heart react to him? I just forgot the memories instead of changing the heart. Richard was uncomfortable with Siska's embrace. He let go of Siska's embrace and tidied up the shirt he was wearing.

"I'm sorry..." Only that sentence could Richard say, he felt strange about himself. Looking at Siska's face, there was hatred in her heart. Della who was next to Richard observed his brother's reaction. He just frowned and would ask after coming home later.

"Richard forgot the memory. Forgive him, Siska.." Joana again took over to speak as Richard looked silent and uncomfortable.

Siska did not reply, she only cried beside Richard and once stole a glance at Richard.

"Richard, let papa, Mama and Della who visit Fabian, you calm Siska first. You just met" said Julian.

"You go to Siska's papa's room, all of you visit and Siska can rest there," said Joana.

Richard nodded his head and led Siska to Julius's ward. Siska glanced at Rini, a triumphant smile etched on the lips of the two.

"You're not sick anymore, are you?" ask Siska.

Hearing Siska's question, Richard felt annoyed. He felt strange with his own heart. He let go of his hand on Siska's shoulder and then put his hand in her pants pocket. "It's healthy" he answered briefly.

Siska was like looking at the old Richard, cold and flat. But he doesn't care about that. Siska wrapped her hand around Richard's arm and walked back to Julius's ward.

"That's the papa room" said Siska, pointing to a room that read Sakura's room.

Richard did not answer and stepped back and opened the door. When the door was opened, two girls were sitting next to Julius' bed. Siska was pampered in Richard's arm. It made Richard look at her at a glance and then step towards Julius' bed.

The two girls who saw Richard's arrival looked shocked. A girl with glaring eyes, Richard could see a look of hatred from the girl's face. But Richard was more interested in the sad face than the sweet girl next to the girl who was glaring at him. Richard's heart skipped a beat, it felt like he wanted to jump out. When the gazes of the two met, Richard's heart could not be controlled anymore, Richard wanted to hug the girl, wanting to meet the longing he felt. The girl quickly turned her face away. Richard could see that the girl was down. He also saw that the girl was holding back tears and pain. But not long after that the girl closed her eyes and her head fell on Julius' bed. He fainted, unconscious with tears streaming down his cheeks.
