Morning in the Apartment
Throughout the night, Al and Lisha spend time together. Lisha recounted how she lived as a volunteer at a health clinic after dying. He also recounted how he attempted to search for Al but found no trace of him at all.
After the dawn prayer, Al opened his trading account while Lisha went to the kitchen. Motherly instinct, he wanted to prepare breakfast for his beloved son.
"Ma...," Al approached Lisha who was making a warm drink. He stared at the woman in front of him. With a little down hugged him back the tiny body.
"How'd you eat? I saw an empty fridge. There was no food stock there," Lisha asked quite worriedly.
"Usually buy, sometimes there are masakin as well. Not a week I'm here. I was forced to move for a while because I was tired of hiding,"
" Mama can only make warm tea. We didn't sleep at all last night. Drink up, let your body warm up a little bit" he said.
"Short of a second, I'll order breakfast. What do you want to eat?" al asked while releasing his embrace and reached for the HP that was in his pants pocket.
"What aja, which makes full," said Lisha as she placed her buttocks on the chair.
"Nasi?" ask Al who followed his mother. Sit in the chair in the dining room.
"Byeah" sahut Lisha. He thrust the mug containing the warm tea towards Al who was sitting at the side.
"Did they still bother you?" lisha asked seriously.
Al recounted everything that happened after he decided to see his father. All the. Al was forced to meet the man at his third wife's residence.
"So he's married again" muttered Lisha sadly.
"Ma, didn't Papa ever look for you?" ask Al curiously.
"At that time, Mama left because there was a social service held by the health care community in collaboration with IDI in Ujung Kulon. Mama's permission to have your father for two days. But when the mother came home, not allowed in by the new housekeeper. Mama also can not contact Komar or Papamu. The security guard said no one was home. You're on vacation,"
"Mama believe?"
"Because she was not allowed to enter, she waited for some time outside, but no one left the house. Mama went to our neighbor Mr. Ben's house, they said early in the morning they still saw Maria and her son out of the house. Mama decided to return to the foundation and stay there while continuing to contact Pak Komar and Papa. Nothing works, like papa blocking mama. One day later, I received a photo sent from my father. Papa divorced mom. Talak three," said Lisha who suddenly became sad.
"really?" al was not sure.
"Yes, my mom still keeps the letter. It's mama print,"
Al was silent, he tried to remember how his Papa was doing while being left behind by Lisha. The man had never been looking for it, even he believed so much that Lisha had left him for no reason.
"Papa never told me that. He just said that Mama left him for no reason,"
"factly so. He doesn't want me back in that house,"
"Ma," Al hugged the woman. He wanted to give strength to the woman he loved so much.
"Oh, we don't have to remember it anymore. It's all over" Lisha tried to console herself.
[Ceklek] the sound of the door being opened, along with the appearance of Ken with his bright face.
"Assalamualaikum" said the girl who immediately found Al and his mother in the dining room.
"Waalaikum salam" said Lisha and Al almost simultaneously. Lisha looked fixedly at Ken who was toting the food box.
"I'm sorry, I just wanted to deliver breakfast" she said in a doubtful and embarrassed tone.
"Here," Al asked as Ken was still standing in the living room.
Ken stepped slowly towards the dining room. That forced-spirited smile continued to expand.
"Ma, this is Keny, Miss Ros's daughter. Ms. Ros was the one who helped Al take care of the house," Al introduced Ken to the mother because the woman kept looking at Ken who was already standing at the side of the dining table.
Lisha threw her sweet smile towards Ken, as did the girl. Ken also lowered his head in a sign of respect for the woman called Mama by Al.
"What did you bring?" tanya Al melted the atmosphere between them. While his view did not shift one bit. Those eyes just kept looking at Ken who looked so different that morning.
Yes, this morning Ken was wearing the clothes Al bought a few days ago at Nora's boutique. His appearance was very different from usual. It looks elegant and elegant.
"Seafood fried rice and fruit salad," Ken placed the two stacking boxes on the table. He realized, the two pairs of eyes in front of him just keep looking at him.
"I'll get you a plate first" Ken rushed to the kitchen and prepared the dinnerware.
After Ken returned to the dining table, Al swiftly helped the girl prepare the dishes. Opening the rice box containing fried rice that was still warm and scooping for himself to the plate in front of him.
"I love the same fried rice. It feels awkward, Ma," said Al so innocently.
He was not aware of that speech. Instantly, Ken's cheeks flushed red as he caught the knotty smile of the woman sitting next to Al.
"Sit down, we'll eat together," Lisha said, still seeing Ken standing at the side of the table.
"You're already, not mama taken, that is," Lisha pretended to sulk at seeing Al who had already bribed her food while the others were still cool to notice.
"He.he. Excuse me. I'm a very laper," said Al.
Ken filled an empty plate with the fried rice left in the box and gave it to Lisha.
"This is Mom, please," Ken said politely.
"Thank you, it looks so good. You must have been cooking until Al went hungry like this,"
"Not really, I learned to cook from a YouTube tutorial," said Ken timidly.
"But the cooking is good, just right in my tongue," praised Al again.
Lisha saw Al who was so happy that morning. As a mother, she could feel that her son was in love. It is undeniable, the young woman who was among them was very beautiful and graceful. Even Lisha herself was less sure if this girl was the child of the housekeeper who worked with her child. Judging from his appearance this morning, it looks like the clothes he wears are branded items.
"His mother is the housekeeper at my son's house, her daughter is cool like this. Looking elegant and learned," Lisha muttered inwardly.
"Ma, how bengong aja," reprimanded Al who saw Mama continue to observe Ken.
"Yes, you said, Al, the nasgor was delicious. If opening a restaurant is good, "praise Lisha.
"Eh no! Why open a restaurant. He can only cook for me" said Al who has shown his possessive attitude.
Lisha could only smile at her son's behavior. He can also see Ken who is increasingly wrong over the attitude of Al who continues to behave childishly.
"How come you're not eating?" ask Lisha.
"I've had breakfast at home, ma'am," said Ken forced to lie. He only brought rice
fry for two servings only. Early in the morning hastily come to the apartment in hopes of enjoying his breakfast with Al. To find something like this, he had to endure hunger.
"Fate" Ken lamented in his heart. He gulped saliva repeatedly watching the mother and the child eat with his voraciously.
Ken had to settle for just watching the mother and child enjoy his breakfast to the end. Ken also prepared plates and spoons for fruit salads he made himself as dessert. Again he could only swallow his own saliva.
"Nyesel, why should I lie. I became a laper like this" Ken grumbled.
When he tidied their old dishes to the kitchen, Ken hurriedly drank a lot of water to fill his stomach. Two glasses of warm water he sipped until the last drop.
"Heeekkk. Either because of bloating or colds. All he remembered, the last time he ate rice was around 16:00 yesterday afternoon.
