Mr. Komar rode the red matic motorbike, through the streets that began to quiet with moderate speed. Madame Lisha who was sitting in the back seat just kept quiet all the way. He wanted to control his heart. His feelings become unheard of knowing he wants to meet Al in a while longer.
"The apartment is on the other side, we turn around first in front," Mr. Komar pointed to the skyscraper that was across the street they passed. There are six similar buildings standing upright with different paints.
"Yes, Sir. Just slow. We wait for the red light" Lisha warned as some riders forced themselves through the red light to turn around. Although it is quite safe but he does not want to take the risk.
"Yes, madam. Waiting not for a few minutes. We better be patient" said Mr. Komar.
"Yes, obeying traffic rules is important to drive safely" Lisha said.
A few minutes later, they arrived at the apartment. Lisha waited in the front lobby, while Pak Komar parked his motorcycle behind the building, specifically parking vehicles other than residents.
Not long after, Mr. Komar arrived at the door. After reporting to the officers who were on guard they immediately headed to the 10th floor using the middle elevator.
Lisha's heart was buzzing. The feeling is so mixed. Although the elevator they used went straight to the top floor it was still a long time for Lisha.
"Until," exclaimed Mr. Komar when they were already on the 10th floor.
"We go left" he said again as he stepped ahead of Lisha.
Arriving in front of room 1015, their steps came to a halt. The two look at each other. Finally, Komar decided to knock on the door slowly.
[Tock..tock...tock...].
There is no confirmation, Komar repeated it again. This time by increasing the pressure.
[Ceklek] the sound of the door handle is opened.
Al was standing right in front of the door. He could only see what he saw at that moment. His mouth was locked, not a word came out of his mouth. Only his eyes were rounded in shock. And so did the two guests.
"Al..," Call Lisha slowly.
Al took one step forward, he was only silent when the woman grabbed him. Hugged him warmly and heard a mouthful of sound.
The mother hugged Al and continued to apologize.
"I'm sorry, son. Forgive Mama." said Lisha while crying.
"I can finally see you." Say again.
"I know, a million apologies won't be enough" Lisha said unceasingly.
"I will hold you and apologize until you forgive me, Al "Lisha continues to apologize and embrace her son.
Al returned Lisha's embrace, he couldn't say anything but tighten his embrace. He did not want to lose the woman again, he did not want to be left behind.
Mr. Komar who saw the meeting of his son and mother was so moved. Unconsciously, her tears flowed. He patted Al on the shoulder. His master's son whom he had brought ran away from home because of Mary's rage.
"Come in, we're talking inside," Al hurriedly let go of his embrace and took the two inside. He did not realize that they were still at the door.
Al used his mother's body to sit next to him. While Mr. Komar had already thrown his body on the sofa in the middle room.
"I'm sorry Mama, Al," Lisha said the word again after Al sat down beside her.
"Mama" said Al, looking at the woman at such a close distance.
"I'm sorry too, Ma. All this time not trying to find you," Al could finally say those words. The two treat each other again to realize their mistakes.
"You grew up to be a good-looking, healthy kid, baby. Mama felt guilty not being able to see your growth until this age,"
"In recent days I have been looking for a mistress everywhere, starting from the village, her former workplace, to the foundation that had once been visited. I didn't expect it to turn out that he was so close to us" said Mr. Komar.
"How can you find him" asked Al curiously.
"After coming to the location that the mistress had visited there was no result, I was almost desperate. I opened a social media account that I had never touched in a long time. Through FB and IG accounts I tried searching for the name of the mistress. Out of the dozens of accounts that appear under the same name, there's not a single face that I recognize,"
"Continue," search Al.
"I'm searching for social activities the results are also nil. I tried to find cheap medical help, apparently there were several hospitals and clinics that appeared. In the image display I see one by one free treatment done by some medical personnel who have a high social spirit. I don't know on what page, I saw a photo of the lady while giving immunization on the week of national children's day. From there I found the clinic address and headed straight to TKP,"
"Oh my God, thank you sir, you have helped me a lot" said the mother and child almost simultaneously.
"I often find social media looking for my son's name, it turns out the results are nil,"
"I don't have a sosmed, Ma. Fugitives where to play sosmed,"
"Don't talk like that!" lisha Tegur. He gently rubbed his son's shoulder.
"Mrs, Al... I said goodbye, it's late. I have to go back to Bekasi," Mr. Komar please resign.
"Just spend the night here, sir. It's 10 o'clock. Dangerous driving at this hour for a father's age,"
"I'm used to it, ma'am. I used to go home from work, really,"
"Just spend the night here, sir. I haven't seen you in a long time either" Pinta Al again.
"Mama's gonna be here too, right?" ask Al to worry.
"Yes, mama will hold you all night long" said Lisha followed by her perfectly fluffy smile.
Mr. Komar understood, the mother and child needed time to let go of their longing. Although Al and his former employer prevented him from returning home, Mr. Komar forced himself to resign. He promised to visit them again soon.
"Be careful, Sir. Don't speed!" Lisha warned Mr. Komar who was already standing at the door. Al gave her a thick brown envelope, which she took from her room.
"Titip greetings to mother, give this to her," said Al.
"What is this, son. You don't have to be like this. I'm doing this with iklas" Mr. Komar won't accept the envelope. He can guess, the contents must be large enough money.
Al often does just that, though not directly. Bram often transfers money to Pak Komar's account at Al's request.
"I leave it for mom" said Al forcing.
"Take it, sir. Greetings to Mira, yes. Next time bring him here," said Lisha chimed.
"Good, Mistress. Excuse me first," Mr. Komar put the envelope given by Al into his jacket pocket. After that, he left Al and his mother, hurriedly entering the elevator that was going to head down.
