Chapter 35: Meeting the Queen

The next morning, they were preparing to return to headquarters. While in front of the gate, they meet with Dyian.

"You want to go back to base?" ask Dyain.

The five of them nodded.

"Do you want to come with me to go to the palace? Right now there's something important I want to tell the Queen."

"Come on!" Alomso looks excited.

The four of them agreed too. Then after that they followed Dyain and went to the palace.

Before entering the palace, they had to pass through what was called the inner city of the kingdom. In order to enter that city, there must be a fairly strict inspection by the knights there. After getting his food, Rei then paid with three pieces of silver and brought Geok Su and Mizuzu to leave the place.

The three of them were shocked, actually who this Alomso was, and whatever he had done.

When they arrived at the gate of the palace, there was already seen Vinri and Dyain was waiting for them.

"Hows it? does the food taste good?" ask Dyain.

"Good, then let's meet the Queen" Dyain said.

"Why queen? shouldn't we meet the king?" ask Geok Su.

"Rumors say that the heir to the throne still did not want to marry, even when the previous King told his son to marry, he refused even though his father was dying. Now his father is dead and he is the only son of the King. In addition, he was still in his twenties." Alomso deliberately teased Geok Su.

"Here you go, let's go inside." Dyain invited them inside. It seems that he was quite well known by the guards in the palace, because when entering the gate, they were instead welcomed, not asked what his needs were.

"Already! just follow what I just said. All right, behind this door is where the Queen sits on her throne, we have to be polite." Said Dyain while holding the doorknob.

Geok Su was actually unaware that they were already in the throne room, because he was preoccupied with seeing ornaments inside the palace.

When the door opened, there were guards in armour and servants serving the Queen.

"Finally you came also Dyain, I'm tired of waiting for people who can not keep their promises to come on time." The Queen's voice was intimidating.

"Sorry queen, there was a bit of a problem on the trip earlier, but for now we should probably focus more on talking about the monster I meant in the letter last night." Dyain looked quite respectful towards the Queen.

"Alright, then we should discuss it at the banquet. I didn't expect you to bring in some additional bullies." The queen looked not too happy with the presence of Geok Su and the others.

They then headed to the banquet table that was in the other room.

Arriving there, there is already a lot of food available, plus everything looks very luxurious.

Dyain told him everything he knew about the monsters, and said what Rei and the others had just experienced.

Then suddenly there was a portal next to where they were eating, and after that appeared the head of a monster that looked like a dragon yesterday. The appearance of the head shocked everyone, except the Queen.

"So, who showed it just now?" the Queen asked, she seemed to have a very terrible aura, even though she was just a normal human being.

As Geok Su's fear brandished his hand, "it was my noble one, my soul force was suddenly out of control.".

"What did you just do!" Geok Su asked Jin Yu.

"I just don't like to see the Queen's nature, so this is just to make her feel disgusted, but it turns out to be useless." Jin Yu said.

"We'll get in trouble later!" Geok Su was a bit scared.

Jin Yu did not care about his words, he immediately kept silent.

"What's your name?" ask the Queen.

"Geok Su's.".

"Good! I like guys like you. Did you defeat him?". asked the Queen again.

"Not your majesty, the one who defeated the monster was my friend Rei." Geok Su pointed towards Rei.

"Damn you Geok Su!" Rei actually did not want to talk anything to the Queen, because he felt that the Queen was still childish.

"Great! do you want to be one of my bodyguards?" ask the Queen.

"fucking shit! why should this question be to me!" inner Rei.

"Sorry to interrupt the Queen, the current five of them will I send to infiltrate the enemy headquarters, because it will be quite impossible if it pulls him from this plan." Dyain seemed to understand what Rei's position was like.

"so yeah. All right, there's something I want to talk to both of you about with her, so I'll wait in the back garden." Said the Queen while pointing towards Geok Su.

Rei smiled with satisfaction at this, he showed his sly smile to Geok Su.
