Soul Land III: Legend of the Dragon King
Chapter 24 – Leaves Na'er

Early in the morning, Tang Wulin woke up from his meditation and found himself surrounded by grass.

It was as if he was meditating in the world of Bluesilver Grass. The feeling here is much better than at his house. He did not realize that this was due to the fact that his soul force had entered the Soul Master realm, as well as due to the variations in his martial soul. His cultivation speed was much faster now.

Tang Wulin jumped up from the courtyard and shook the morning dew off his body.

“Lin Lin! Lin Lin! ” Anxious voice Lang Yue called from afar.

“Bu, I'm here,” Tang Wulin said as he hurriedly ran out of the small garden.

“There is wrong. Na’er, Na’er.. She. ”Lang Yue gasped for breath as she ran.

What happened to Na’er? Tang Wulin's heart stiffened.

Lang Yue took a deep breath to calm herself down before she anxiously said, “She has already left. Na’er is gone. ”

“Ah?” Tang Wulin was gobsmacked and quickly followed his mother back home.

It does. Na’er is gone. He just left a letter on his bed.

Mom, Dad, brother, I'm leaving now. Thank you for taking care of me these past few years, but I remember who I am now. My family came to pick me up, so I had to go. I'm so happy during the days I spent with you all. Very happy. I really don't want to part with all of you, but from the memories I remember, I knew that I had to leave. I have a lot of things I have to do. Big Brother, I will always remember how you looked when you protected me from those evil people. I'll always remember the taste of all the snacks you bought me.

Na’er's...

Tang Wulin was stunned as he stared at this letter.

Despite adding to their burden, Na’er had given them a lot of excitement since she joined their household.

Tang Wulin was very happy after getting a little sister. She always felt very satisfied whenever she saw Na’er eating the food she bought with her forging money, especially when Na’er smiled sweetly at her.

“How can this happen !? Na’er, how can you go like this? How can Even if you find your family, you can't go like this! You can't go.. ”Tang Wulin turned around and ran out. Lang Yue could not stop him before he rushed out of the house.

“Na’er, Na’er!” Sobs echoed throughout the small town as Tang Wulin crazily ran over, shouting as he searched for silver hair and Na’er's purple eyes.

Na’er tightly held the rough cloth doll as she leaned against the wall, a single tear drop dripping down her face.

It was the first gift Tang Wulin had bought with his monthly salary. The cloth puppet had purple eyes and silver hair dyed by Tang Wulin himself. It looks like him.

Tang Wulin's image was unceasingly spinning in his mind.

Only when they were together did the two smile fully. He always seemed to think of a way to bring a smile to his face.

He was always there to protect her when someone tried to disturb her. Even if he were to face a powerful evil person, he would still be as stubborn as before.

“Kakak, sister ..” whispered Na’er, as pearl-like teardrops fell to the ground.

“Young Miss, we have to go now.”

……

He scoured the entire city, looking around every corner wherever Na’er might go. He even ran along the shoreline to look for her for a long time. In the end, Tang Wulin was unable to find a single trace of her.

His throat had long since become hoarse from shouting. Regardless, Na’er was lost without a trace.

Seven rays of light could be faintly distinguished as they twinkled within the gem. It is easy to see and say that it is very valuable.

However, in Tang Wulin's heart, this gemstone couldn't possibly compensate for his younger sister's presence.

Tang Wulin went to school and went to the forging workshop with a chaotic head.

For the next few days, it was as if Tang Wulin had lost his soul. Every day, he would wander the large streets and small alleys of Glorybound City until late at night to search for traces of Na’er.

He made many mistakes in the forging work due to his mental state, and was firmly scolded by Mang Tian. Tang Wulin could not help but keep asking himself, ‘Why did Na’er go? Why didn't he tell me where he was going? ‘

His spirit did not recover until a week later.

……….

The Red Mountain Academy.

“Tang Wulin,” exclaim Lin Ximeng from the pulpit.

“Sini.” Tang Wulin stood up. His sadness over Na’er's departure eased slightly after the full week had passed.

He went up to the pulpit and received Lin Ximeng's recommendation letter. This is a special recommendation letter from Red Mountain Academy. As long as one was given this letter, they would be able to register for the intermediate Soul Master academy. Any student in the elementary academy who successfully becomes a Soul Master can be recommended to continue their studies in the intermediate academy. No matter what one's martial soul was, they would meet the requirements if they had a soul ring.

Receiving this letter also signified the end of Tang Wulin's days of attending the elementary academy.

Wan Yunchao winked at Tang Wulin from the chair beside her. “We will graduate now. Let's exchange clues later. ”

Tang Wulin unhappily glanced at him. “I'm busy. I have to go to work later. ”

Due to the mistake he made a few days ago, Mang Tian added three hours to his daily work hours.

Wan Yunchao's mouth twitched as he said, “Coward. You're just afraid of losing to me. ”

Tang Wulin's eyes shone with a flaming light. “I'm not a coward. All right then. I'll argue with you after school in the woods. ”

There was a huge forest behind the Red Mountain Academy. This is where students usually take their Natural Studies Class.

It's very quiet here after school, because very few people usually come here.

Wan Yunchao was still as fat as before. She happily dragged Tang Wulin into the forest as soon as the school day ended.

“Let me tell you, Tang Wulin, you really cannot match me as an opponent!”

Tang Wulin did not say a word.

“Good then. We'll start here! ” Wan Yunchao stopped walking, then impatiently released his martial soul from his hand.

After an instant, a short blade appeared on his palm. Compared to when it did not have a soul ring, the short blade appeared somewhat wider, with a fiery urate pattern on its surface.

A 10-year-old white soul ring emerged from the soles of his feet. Wan Yunchao quietly moved the soul ring onto the short sword, causing the blade tip to extend as a length of 15 centimeters was added to the top of the martial soul.
