Solar Throne
Raining

Gina felt Surya's hand on her cheek. Suddenly the tears that flowed stopped. He could not believe what Surya was doing made him feel calm. But then Gina stood up to avoid Surya's gaze. The brownish eyes that he really liked made him fascinated when he was this close.

"Emmm.... Don't misunderstand me. I'm not actually crying." Gina clasped both hands.

"This is because my eyes are sensitive. Yes, my eyes became sensitive because of the onion slicing earlier. So that my eyes become watery easily." Gina reasoned.

"Let's go to the doctor, Miss." Surya panicked and approached Gina.

"You should get a cure right away. Don't ignore this."

"No, I'm fine. It's gonna stop. I've never sliced an onion before so it's only natural that I'm going through this." Gina then wiped the remaining tears.

"But Miss, we have to know what's really going on."

"I told you it's okay. Why do you insist on forcing."

"I'm worried you're why-why, Miss."

"You're so chatty. I told you I was okay."

"But I'm worried, Miss."

"You start again. Why all the things I've been through always worry you. You're very good at worrying about other people."

"I'm not worried about anyone else. I'm worried about my wife, Miss." Surya raised his voice. Gina widened her eyes looking at Surya. Surya seemed to realize something and became misbehaved afterwards.

"What?" Tanya Gina assured her hearing. Lately Surya often uses that reason.

"I mean, it's still about the secret of the relationship we're in, miss." Surya shrank the volume of his voice.

"I should look worried about you because that's what almost every husband on earth does, Miss. I hope you understand that and don't get me wrong." Obviously Surya. And strangely, hearing all of that made Gina feel a little disappointed. That Surya's attention is still in the context of the charade they perform.

"Oh, okay. I get it." Gina replied coldly because she felt disappointed.

"Awww.awww..pain, ma'am." Gina and Surya simultaneously turned their gaze towards the sound. It looks like Ayu is walking beside her mother with her ears turned.

"Why him?" Ask Gina. Surya smiled in response to Gina.

"Bas with the boy!" Comment Solar. Gina did not know what was going on so she became curious.

A phone went into Gina's phone. He saw Hanna's name on his screen.

"Yes Hanna." Gina answered the phone.

"Miss, I need your consent for the raw material purchase file."

"But I still can't go back. What if I gave you the power to do it. I'll send the file to your email."

"Ahh, fine then." Answer Hanna later.

"How is Father Surya, Miss?"

"It's better."

"Thank God."

"But we haven't been able to come back because we have to make sure you're completely healed."

"Yes, well Miss."

"So, no matter what happens, keep calling me."

"None right."

"Thank you, Hanna."

"For what, Miss?" Hanna wonder.

"Because you've replaced me there." Answer Gina.

"Ahh, it's okay, Miss. This is my job."

"But you don't get too hard at work. Come home on time. Have lunch with your girlfriend while I'm not around. Go with your girlfriend after work."

"Ahh, Miss..." Hanna's voice was timid. Hearing that tone Gina smiled widely. He could imagine how his personal assistant's face would look if he blushed.

"Is there anything else you want to talk about?"

"No, Miss, that's all for a while."

"Alright, after returning from here I will bring you a lot of souvenirs. I will also treat you to the spa because you must be very tired of replacing me."

"Ahh, no need to bother, Miss. I'm fine and happy to do that."

"All right, thank you, Hanna. I miss you." Then Gina hung up the phone without Hanna returning her words.

Hanna smiled at her phone. Her boss is so funny. He is very sociable and does not hesitate to reveal what is in his head.

"So, Hanna has a boyfriend?" Ask Surya.

"Yes, I think so." Gina put the phone in her denim pants pocket.

"He said it to you?"

"At first he didn't want to tell a story but then I managed to get him to confess." Gina laughed after that sentence.

"You know, Hanna's boyfriend is an R-Company employee too."

"really?"

"Yes. That guy's handsome."

"Have you met him?"

"Of course."

"really? Who's she?"

"Wood. He's an employee of the marketing division."

"Wood?" Repeating from what Gina said.

"Hanna never really said Bayu was her boyfriend. But the way they talk and look I know they have a special relationship."

"Oh yeah? You deduce from that?"

"of course. I could see as they spoke Bayu never took his eyes off Hanna. Her smile was sincere and her eyes looked straight at Hanna's eyes like she didn't want to miss anything from him."

"You're watching them?"

"Hmmm..."

Surya shook his head while smiling cutely hearing Gina do that. From where he got that skill so he could analyze and read facial expressions and make conclusions with it.

🌸🌸🌸

Gina felt the incoming wind from the window of Surya's room become very cold. He opened his eyes and saw a hanging cloudy and very dark. He saw the trees next to Surya's house even as if he was blown away by the wind. Gina decided to get out of the house. He stood on the porch of the house and looked to the side. Mother Surya was lifting the clothesline hurriedly before the rain actually came. Gina who saw that then approached to help.

"Where is he, Mom?"

"He said to the rice field to see the broken embankment."

Hearing that without saying anything, Gina placed the clothesline in the basket her mother-in-law had brought.

"I'll go first, Mom."

"Where, Nduk?"

"To the rice field."

"You need this rain."

"It's okay, Mom." Gina held out the umbrella hung by the middle room and the key of the motorbike and then slid towards the rice field that Ayu had shown on her way to the market at that time.

The wind was blowing very hard. The cloud is also getting stronger. Gina was upset with Surya who did not even see his nose on the road. He hopes to meet Surya on the way but until he reaches the ranks of the rice fields shown by Ayu, Gina does not meet Surya. Gina then parked her motorcycle on the side of the road and she walked in the rice field to find the exact location of the Surya rice field.

"You know Ma'am, those paddies are mostly Surya's." Ayu said heading to the market.

"Which one?" Ask Gina while slowing down the speed of the motor.

"That, that, that, and I guess that one. There is also over there. Then we passed through there too. Much, Ma'am." Show Ayu. But because Gina focused on the view in front of her, she did not listen well to where exactly the Surya rice field.

"Solar's gas is like a landlord here, ma'am."

"Lord of the land." Gina repeated with a tingly smile. That word is no stranger to him. He had heard it in the dialogue of old films.

Previously Gina felt indifferent to what Surya had as Ayu said but then she felt it made sense Surya had a rice field as much as it must be because his father gave a big salary as Surya said that time.

But now the most important thing for Gina is not counting how many paddy fields Surya has. In fact many rice fields make it difficult to find Surya. The weather is getting worse and Gina goes further and further but she does not also find Surya.

"Why is this man not afraid of the rain. Why doesn't he come home." Gina was worried.

"Or is he not in the rice field here?" Gina then reached into her pocket looking for a cell phone. And perfectly, he forgot to bring his phone. But before turning around, he saw someone get up from his seat. Gina saw Surya lift the hoe in his hand.

"Suryaaaa..." Call Gina from a distance. Surya looked up at the sound source. Gina hurriedly approached Surya who was now riding on a rice field.

"Why is Miss here?"

"Why come here? Look at that cloudy. You are a true workaholic. Not in R-Company alone, not even in the rice fields do you care about the heat and rain.

"I'm not rained on, Miss."

"Don't return my words. You really don't understand me worrying about you? Come home soon, it'll be raining." Omelette Gina. Surya frowned seeing the first time Gina scolded him with such worry.

"None right." That's all Surya said. Gina walked quickly in front of him.

"Be careful, Miss."

"I knew. Be prompt. Or we could be rained on."

"If it rains, we can wear umbrellas, miss."

"You think this umbrella is for you? I brought it for myself." Omelette Gina. Surya held back a laugh seeing Gina acting strangely like that.

Just finished talking, it rained. Gina then opened her umbrella. Then he stopped and looked back.

"Oh my God, are you a snail? Why are you walking so slowly." Gina approached Surya again to finally put them in one umbrella.

"Why is there only one umbrella in your house? You're a landlord here but an umbrella only has one. You stingy." Gina walked in front while Surya walked behind her while holding an umbrella because the rice fielder was only enough to walk one person. Surya smiled comically hearing Gina call herself 'master of the land'.

"Yes, I'll buy it again tomorrow."

"When this is the case, you'll just buy. Look, I'm still wet with an umbrella."

"Yes, I'm sorry, Miss."

The wind blew so hard that Surya had trouble holding an umbrella. Finally the umbrella that was hit by the wind was also pulled up.

"Oh my God, Surya. What'sthis?" Omelette Gina. Surya seemed very busy maintaining his umbrella to return to its original shape. But Surya's efforts were in vain because the umbrella had been broken. Surya pulled Gina to walk to the gripper who was heading in the other direction.

"Where are we going?" Surya did not answer and only pulled Gina's hand faster to follow her pace faster.

Then Gina knew Surya's intent as she looked at a hut in front of her. Surya invited him to shelter there.

"While we stay here first, miss. If we go home now, it'll be wetter." Surya said while opening the door of the hut.

"It's all your fault. Why don't you come home when it's gonna rain." Omel Gina for the umpteenth time while shaking her slightly wet clothes.

"I'm sorry I've worried you."

"Who's worried about you. I just. I just. I just feel sorry for you when you're rained. You got the flu." Said Gina who if interpreted has the same meaning, worried. Surya just smiled in response to Gina who forgot that she had said that she had worried about him.

"By the way, what is this place? Why do you have the key?" Gina looked around the hut that contained a pile of sacks.

"This is a fertilizer warehouse, miss."

"Yours?"

"Yes Miss."

"Well, judging by the amount of fertilizer stock you have, I'm becoming more and more convinced that what Ayu said is true that you do have a lot of rice fields." Surya did not reply but just smiled as he widened a sack for him to sit down and Gina.

"We're sitting here, Miss." Bring Surya. Gina looked at the sack for a while and was forced to approach Surya to sit down as well.

"It really sucks, you know." Mumbled Gina.

"I'm sorry, Miss."

"Stop always apologizing. It won't make the rain go away."

"Yes Miss." Surya replied still casually despite getting a scolding of Gina since.

The rain outside is getting heavier. The roof of the fertilizer hut became very noisy because of the rain that fell on it. The wind was blowing very hard too. It could be felt from the crevices of the board as a hut wall. Gina hugged her knees to avoid the cold air. His wet clothes made him feel cold. His lips turned blue and occasionally heard a rustling sound from his teeth that he tried to hold so that Surya did not know. But in fact Surya saw it since then and began not to bear it. He took Gina's hand.

"What are you doing?" Tanya Gina tried to pull back her hand.

"Let me make you warmer."

"No, thank you."

"You can freeze if I don't."

"Do what? What are you gonna do?" Gina glared at Surya. But Gina's power must have lost far from Surya. And with just one pull, Gina's hand was finally in the warm hands of Surya.

"Let it be like this, Miss. Your hands are so cold." Surya clasped Gina's hand by blowing her nose. Warm Eve caught Gina's hand. Surprisingly it could completely reduce the coldness in his body.

Gina looked at Surya inside. Tracing her shiny hair was hit by the reflection of dim lights then on her brownish eyes, on her pointed nose and then on her lips. The lips that he had never known smoked the cigarette while blowing formed an O. Gina felt suddenly short of breath being treated like that and hoped Surya could give her an artificial breath.

What's this taste like? Is this really what it feels like? Why is this how it feels? Gina then shifted her body to become closer to Surya. Seeing that Surya looked at Gina not understanding. But Gina doesn't care and she only gets closer to the body that Surya is already attached to. His head was tilted so that it touched Surya's shoulder.

"I'm tired. I'm sleepy too. I'll be like this until the rain subsides." Gina increasingly makes herself comfortable leaning on Surya. Surya became misbehaved not knowing how to. But unabashedly her smile expands also find Gina's treatment to him. Gina clasped Surya's hand tightly like she never wanted to let go again.
