In a House Alone

Surya sat beside his father who was still lying down.

"Why worry about Father? You're okay."

"I've been wanting to go home for a long time, sir." Surya smiled widely.

"Brother is my reason for coming home. Now I have a very good position in a big company so it's not easy for me to apply for leave and vacation."

"Is your job too hard? If so, stop working. Come back here and work in the fields. Rather than you always paying people to work the rice fields and also hiring Joko as your mentor, you better do it yourself." Said Mr. Wiro.

"Your father, Sur." Add his mother while peeling mango fruit.

"I also really wanted to do it but I still have an unfinished employment contract so I shouldn't just quit. I could be fined for violating the contract." Obviously Surya is lying. Because he worked at R-Company he never signed a contract that resulted in a fine. Right now he just needs to finish all his duties as an R-Company employee so that he cannot stop suddenly.

"When does your contract end?"

"Still a long time, sir. There's still a lot of projects I'm working on so I can't stop right now."

As Gina walked in, she found a very simple house. With a wooden-seat living room that seems to be made of teak wood as well. The living room was small, Gina thought. The living room was not even bigger than the bathroom in Gina's room.

"This is Mas Surya's room, Ma'am." Point Ayu at a room facing the dining room. Gina had no idea that Surya's house turned out to be this small. For the size of Surya with a big salary, it turns out he did not make a big house in his village. Gina felt Surya was strange. Because I was curious I ended up looking for it on the internet and Sister Gina knew how much it cost? Not just hundreds of thousands but almost 2 million. I think it's expensive, Ma'am. Just a watch costs millions." Ayu's Story.

"So I'm sure everything you're wearing is worth millions." Ayu smiled with laughter after finishing her analysis. Gina smiled wryly in response to Ayu.

"Well, I'll take a shower and rest for a while. Will you be able to accompany me back to the hospital?"

"Surya said Ms. Gina could come back later in the afternoon."

"Yes, but I want to be there. There's nobody here either."

"No, I'd better be in the hospital."

"All right then. Now Gina's resting. If I'm looking for you, I'm next door."

"Where's it diving?"

"My house is next door."

Ayu came out and Gina closed the door. Then he walked towards the room that Ayu said was Surya's room. Gina opened the unlocked door. Right, since reaching Surya's house, Gina didn't expect much of Surya's room to be as large as her own. But because she was tired, Gina did not think long and immediately dropped her body on the bed. The sleepiness is really unbearable.

Hanna walked out of her study in Gina's room. Today his boss is not working so he has to do Gina's job. This morning she had just read the message that Gina had sent that she should go with her husband because of family matters. Hanna appears to be entering the pantry. There were other officers inside who were also making drinks. They greeted Hanna with respect. Hanna brews coffee in a cup. After that he sat in a chair in the pantry while enjoying his coffee. The boss who is not there makes it a little free to move around.

But Surya doesn't have a personal assistant now. He felt able to work without an assistant and only collaborated with his secretary. Because it seems like Surya is very master of his job and has the authority to do work with related parts so he does not need to have a personal assistant.

"You want coffee?" Tawar Hanna who looks familiar with Viviana.

"Can." Viviana sat across from Hanna. Before long Hanna came back with a cup of coffee too.

"But fortunately Mr. Surya is not a dictator and not a Romusha believer so I am still quite able to overcome my saturation." Vivian drank her still hot coffee.

"You yourself? How's work? I think it's harder to be Miss Gina's assistant than when you were in your old position. Miss Gina doesn't know anything about R-Company so you must be working hard to help her."

"That's how it is, I'm already in this position so I just have to live it."

"By the way, why did you apply to become Miss Gina's assistant? Does that make more money?" Vivian asked curiously at Hanna's decision. Hanna just smiled while enjoying her coffee in this break.

Gina felt that someone was sitting on the edge of her bed. The movement made his sleep disturbed. He tried to open his eyes but felt heavy. After all his position facing the wall made him lazy to turn around. It must have been Ayu who came to him. He promised to wake her 2 hours after Gina went to sleep. And Gina had seen the clock on her watch was over 2 hours.

"Well, let me sleep for another half hour." Mumbled Gina. There was no answer and Gina went back to sleep.

Until finally Gina woke up and saw the clock showing at 1 pm.

"Oh my God, why is it noon." Gina got out of bed. Get out of the room and find no one. It seemed that Ayu did not come back to wake her up. But just as Gina was about to enter the bathroom on one side of Surya's house, Ayu entered from the front door.

"Mdak Gina... Sister Gina..." Call Ayu out loud. Gina paused her intention to take a bath toward Ayu.

"What's up, Ayu?"

"Ahh, thank goodness you're awake. Ii'm sorry. I forgot to wake you. I drove mom to grind rice in the mill until I forgot. I just got home, mbak." Ayu gasps for running from her house to Surya's house.

"Ahh, it's okay. I was wrong too. You woke me up but I'm still stalling."

"Waken you?"

"Yes." Yeah." Gina's feeling was not good when Ayu said that.

"Here I just came to wake you up. Since I got home from here I've been delivering mom."

"Then...who came into my room?"

"Within? I didn't go into the room either." Ayu bengong heard Gina's words.

"Well, are there frequent burps here?"

"Nothing."

"But I'm sure someone broke into my room."

"No, 'cause I'm so sleepy, so I just told her that she's gonna wake up in half an hour. I thought it was you."

"So, who's that guy, Yu." Gina's confused. Then he remembered something and went back into his room. Ayu followed. He saw Gina open the bag and suitcase. The solar cabinet was also open.

"My bags and suitcases are safe. I don't know about this unlocked Solar closet. Is there any valuable stuff here." Gina looked panicked.

"Is what came in earlier a thief?"

"Mr Gina is just there. Where there's a burrow in during the day."

"You know, most of us don't know time today."

"But it's not like this, ma'am. Maling will think thousands of times if you want to operate in broad daylight. It's a lot of this." Ayu held back tasa seeing Gina's panic.

"You're this..." Gina still couldn't believe it.

"Maybe Gina's mom is dreaming?"

"No, I'm sure there was someone in my room earlier."

"Here you go, Sister Gina take a bath to make the body fresher." Bujuk Ayu's. Gina who was still confused was escorted by Ayu to the bathroom. But suddenly Gina stopped her steps.

"Oh my God, Yu. Could this house be haunted?" Chirps Gina while looking around from where she stood.

"Ghost???" Ayu shuddered in horror at Gina's words.
