13. Reunite with Rajen

"Report, right here!" When Ardi was looking around where Rajen and Rafin were. The voice of a man he knew sounded in his ears.

Ardi frowned at the man who had just called out to him, the man appeared to be swinging his hand as a sign of having Ardi approach him.

When Ardi, Almira and Anila approached him, the man suddenly laughed. "You're here?" Nicolas' name, he was the former boss of Ardi in the Mall where he used to work. Ardi was assigned as a security guard at the time before Anila's father placed Rafin in one of his companies that Rafin rarely met.

While Anila did not dare to just stare there. The girl just lowered her head while twisting the end of her dress. Especially when it comes to knowing when the woman who hurt her used to be there too.

Almira calmed her daughter by embracing her shoulders. They stared at each other, Almira did not speak but, Anila was able to understand the implied words of her gaze. "Don't worry, son. Mama's right next to you." Anila smile.

"I'm sorry Mr. Rajen." Ardi's head lowered with his right hand on his stomach.

"Call me Sir."

"Bright, sir."

"What's your reason for inviting us?"

"I just want to apologize for the treatment of Anila at that time" he wrote. Ardi glanced at Anila with slightly glaring eyes and mouth saying something but, inaudible.

Anila is nervous, she does not forget the words of her father when at home who asked her to apologize to Rajen and Rafin. Does he think it's not reversed? The woman who was with the two men hurt Anila. Why should Anila apologize?

"Sa—" Anila was about to apologize, but Rajen's hand raised as he said, "Enough!" Anila was astonished, as were Ardi and Almira.

"I don't need your apologies. I understand that you are still a teenager and have a lot of needs. How much are you asking?" Rajen is seen issuing a check. Without anyone's sight, Agata smiled smirk.

"Write whatever you want. You don't have to pretend to love Rafin. He'll marry Agata, and you can be with your lover."
