Chap 35 - The Struggle

The news spread to the palace. All are happy to know that the king will have children. They start celebrating by cleaning up old things. Like some unkempt rooms and more clean up the castle area.

Olive only smiled as soon as the inhabitants of this palace expressed joy to her. Beside him the Ox king accompanied him. He was quite happy and chose to take a break today from his work even though he was very busy at the moment.

"You're enough not to think too much. Maybe you can only get pregnant if you're happy and not too tired." Advice king Ox. Olive nodded hearing that. Maybe after this everything will go according to his expectations. He would have a small family for him and the Ox king. He blushes.

"I love you." Olive said with a look at the Ox king who was staring around his palace. He now looks at his wife. "You said something Olive?"

Olive shakes. "No sir." lied.

Ox thinks he might have misheard. Olive chuckles at him.

Frederich just saw daylight. Makes Ox wonder what he's doing so invisible to the kingdom. Apparently Frederich approached the physician who was an expert in the womb.

He happily gave her a paper roll. "Master. You know that Queen Olive is pregnant. Maybe this will help, I suggest the princess always keep her food, also she can keep her emotions and mind-"

The relentless remarks from Frederich made Olive and Ox chuckle, they stared at Ox's right hand with astonished shakes.

"Yes, thanks for the information Frederich. Geez, it feels like the spirit here is you." The king said to his advisor. Frederich was surprised to learn of his excessive behavior.

"Ah, I'm sorry sir. Really, sorry to interrupt." Sorry are. Ox nodded his lesson. "Can I keep that paper?"

"Of course, your majesty." Frederich gave a paper containing the information Frederich had obtained. Ox smile. "Thank you."

Frederich nodded respectfully. He now bowed politely, then afterwards asked permission to leave from there. He left before the Ox king and went back to work.

"Yes. I think he's the best advisor in the world." Canda Ox's. They laughed, Now they have a schedule to find ingredients for Olive. Spend time together all day.

Days have changed months, Olive felt sadness knowing she did not show signs of pregnancy at all. Making him keep thinking about her and crying knowing the things he did seemed to be in vain.

Ox approached him calmly. The queen looked sobbing alone in the room. He sometimes locked the door to their room to be alone. Makes Ox not free to meet him.

He hugged his knee. Drowning in the sadness he felt.

"W-what makes me like this."

Ox only breathed behind the door of his room. In the quiet hallway, he could hear Olive's sobbing voice. Makes himself unbearable. But even that man can't do much about it.

Slowly Ox knocked on the door. Olive didn't hear any more stuff. He smiled softly. Although she had the keys to their room, but she appreciated her sad queen inside."Olives? Can you open this door for me?"
