Seol Hwa is trying to block Dae Gil's departure when Eop Bok points his rifle at Dae Gil. Eop Bok finally pulled the trigger, his shot hitting Dae Gil's forehead. Dae Gil falls from a horse and is sprawled on the ground unconscious. Seol Hwa, Choi and Wang son fiddle with him.
