Ch. 28 - Offer

The leader of the robbers who saw Liuzhen's action laughed instead of playing, he thought that Liuzhen had resigned himself and hoped with his butut sword.

"You think an attack like this can kill me," the bandit leader muttered as he took out his protective artifact.

Liuzhen's sword speed was undeniable, even a flake of his sword aura could kill some thugs around.

Liuzhen only smiled when he saw that the burly man chose to resist the attack instead of avoiding it.

Sure enough the meaning of Liuzhen's smile the leader of the group bounced far back, even the sword pierced through his body.

Changyi and Xiao Mei started running towards Liuzhen, they tried to stay away from the enemy from around the young man.

Some of the warriors left behind by Yu Wen also followed the direction of Changyi and Xiao Mei's movements, they then set up a fortress formation to protect Liuzhen.

Not long after the royal soldiers arrived at the scene of the battle, they then began to split up to capture the bandits.

Some of them managed to escape and some others were less fortunate, the royal warrior also found the corpses of the group leader.

The identity of the man was hard to figure out after Liuzhen's sword hit his entire body and shattered into pieces.

Royal officials warned that Liuzhen could become a double-edged knife, becoming a threat or protector to the State of Chu.

They do not think an Expert Swordsman is able to fight many enemies, plus kill the King Swordsman.

There was no conclusion they came to, other than observing further Liuzhen's movements forward.

After some time Liuzhen was then able to move as usual, as well as Yu Fei the difference was that Yu Fei was still in treatment.

Liuzhen then tried to warm up and practice, when he realized that his sword was not with him someone from the kingdom came over.

"Excuse me...." The man murmured while scratching his head which was not itchy.

"I'm sorry, is this the residence of master Yu Fei" the man continued.

"Yes right, it just so happens that senior Yu is resting is there anything I can help you with?" Liuzhen asked.

"Ahhh.. There was actually a dispatch from a royal officer, yesterday they found a sword I guess you must have known."

Liuzhen narrowed his eyes then said, "Can I see first?"

The man then showed me a pitch-black sword that had a crossed out inscription, "Ahh right.it is mine," said Liuzhen spontaneously.

Liuzhen was a little surprised when he saw the man before him raising his sword easily, he thought that this man had a good physique.

"You must be strong enough to have a sword like this" the soldier said.

Liuzhen did not overly ponder his words, "No, it's normal, I don't think senior is too fit to wear a warrior's shirt" Liuzhen said with an awkward laugh.

The soldier caught Liuzhen's point, he just smiled and said, "Well young man, there are actually some things that cannot be changed one of which is the destiny of being a soldier."

"I don't know if you're interested in being a soldier" the man continued.
