Gilang and Ailee skip lunch with the family on the grounds they have to go to Ailee's parents' house. Though the truth is, Gilang is still trying to avoid the mother. Finally, the oma only had lunch alone with Mama Irna because Erlan and her family had not come home from shopping.
While enjoying the food, there was the sound of greetings spoken by several people simultaneously. The oma who recognized the voices immediately exclaimed, telling all of them to head straight for a meal. "Come here, have lunch together!"
Ma'am Gia and Mbak Tia appear with husband and children. The two sisters stopped their steps, when they saw a middle-aged woman sitting next to the oma. The two then looked at each other.
"Well, Tia. Come here" said the oma.
Doubtful, the two daughters of Mama Irna were approaching. Mama Irna immediately saved her spoon and then moved on. Look at the two daughters in turn.
"Gia, Tia, I'm sorry, son," said Mama Irna, sobbing.
"Ma-Mama." Gia stammered, calling the skinny lady in front. The hijab-wearing woman from Satria did not expect that the mother was very different. His body was very thin and his face looked very old, unkempt.
Ma'am Gia then hugged the mother while crying. "Why is this so?"
Mama Irna's getting sobbing. Unable to answer the question of the eldest princess. The skinny woman felt very sad because she was only able to meet with children and family when her condition worsened. However, he is also happy because Mbak Gia immediately accepted it.
Ma'am Tia who joined in crying then hugged both of them. "Why didn't Mama ever give us the news?" his protest in between the sidelines.
"I'm sorry Mama, Gia, Tia. Mama, mama's already guilty of you guys," said Mama Irna, after breaking into a hug.
Both of Mama Irna's daughters-in-law then greet the middle-aged woman. "Mas, forgive mama, yes," she asked the two daughters-in-law.
The two grown men replied with nods of their heads and smiles. Makes Mama Irna a little relieved because they can all accept her presence back. Only Gilang is someone who still can't forgive him, that's what Mama Irna thought.
"Come-ayo, we'll eat together! You guys haven't had lunch yet, have you?" The oma immediately called the assistant aunt to provide plates and drinks for her grandchildren.
They then began to enjoy eating, without anyone asking Mama Irna a lot of things because they did not want to ruin the warm eating atmosphere. Mama Irna seemed to be chatting with her granddaughter, the children of the young Mother Tia, the younger sister of Reno. Also with the youngest daughter Mbak Gia, his sister Satria and Kukuh.
"Where is the same, Oma?" ask Mbak Gia on the sidelines to eat.
"Bang Er and his family are shopping tomorrow. If Ge and his wife, visit Ai's father" explained the oma.
"Oh, is Budhe Ris here?" ask Ma'am Tia.
"That's early in the morning, they're already here, Tia. In fact, had breakfast with Satria and Kukuh as well earlier," replied the oma while chuckling.
"Budhe is most impatient to see Bang Er marry," said Mbak Gia who was replied by the oma with a nod of the head.
"Pity too, anyway, Bang Er. Bela-belain accompanied Ge, until he ignored himself," said Mbak Tia and Mbak Gia and the oma again nodded.
"Yes, Er does care very much with his sister," said the oma. "If there is no one, oma does not know how your sister will be because oma will definitely not be able to keep Ge alone," he continued, making Mama Irna who heard the chat shed tears.
Mama Irna raised her hand, hinting that the eldest daughter would not continue her words. "Mom knows, Gia. It's not why you tell me about how your sister's life used to be after you left her to let her know, how broken the child's heart is" Mama Irna said with a voice stuck in her throat.
"Mama wants to know a lot about her, Ma," he continued, staring at Grandma Amira.
The old woman who was Mama Irna's former mother-in-law shook her head. "There's no need, Irna, because it's just going to scrape old wounds. Ge is happy now and I'm sure he has forgiven you. It's just, maybe she needs some time to set her heart to meet you."
Mama Irna nodded, weak. "Hopefully, Ma. I hope he can forgive Irna." From her voice, Mama Irna seemed to hesitate.
Lunch is over. Mbak Gia and Mbak Tia seem to still accompany the mama by sitting casually in the side garden. While the others went straight to their respective rooms to rest, including the oma.
When the three women of different generations were busy chatting to let go of longing, Erlan and her family came. Brother Erna and Budhe Ris then joined there. Because even during the day, the park is very cool because there are some large trees that shade.
"Have you got everything you've been looking for, Budhe?" asked Mbak Tia, after experiencing her bud.
"Alhamdulillah, no, Nduk. Hah ... until budhe's foot pegel obey the child's will," Budhe Ris replied as he shook his head.
"How much do you want, Budhe, Bang Er?" mbak Gia asked, right when Erlan approached because he wanted to join.
"No. Not much, though. Just one thing I want, want to marry as soon as possible with her," Erlan replied as she chuckled.
The conversation warmed with the arrival of Erlan. They were joking around, making Mama Irna forget her sadness. The sound of their laughter even reached Grandma Amira's room and forced the old woman to join in.
The presence of the oldest woman in the Gilang family makes the atmosphere even more crowded because despite her advanced age, but Grandma Amira likes to joke. Living with grandchildren who like to tease each other with the intention of tempting his brother, making the oma also like to flirt.
Without notice, the sun began to slip on the western horizon. Mama Irna seems to be back to fret because the son left and never returned. In fact, the middle-aged woman wanted to hear Gilang's voice and hugged her youngest son.
Grandma Amira started to move. "Udah afternoon. We asharan first, yuk," he asked and all the family went along.
"Ma, we go to Mama's room, yuk," Gia asked when she saw the mother had not moved and her gaze was fixed towards the outside yard. The eldest daughter of Mama Irna understood the anxiety of the mother.
Gia had whispered earlier with Sister Erna and from her cousin's sister, she knew that Gilang could not accept the presence of the mother. Gia also thought that her sister was leaving because she wanted to avoid her mother. Gilang's first brother could understand why the younger brother was acting this way.
"Ma, Ge can definitely forgive Mama, really. Mama don't be sad, yes," comfort Gia while walking with her slow steps.
"Why are you so sure, Gia?" asked the mother after they both went into Mama Irna's room. The frail woman then sat herself on the edge of the bed. His face looks clouded.
"Ge is an adult, Ma. He could think long. Even if she hasn't met Mama, it's because she's looking for the right moment" Gia replied with a smile.
"The right moment?" Mama Irna's forehead is wrinkled deep.
