"When are you back in Indonesia, Len?" ask Gilang after believing that the woman in front was a friend during college first.
"Just a week ago, Lang," replied the woman who had such a tall posture as she smiled sweetly at Gilang and her gaze was fixed on the pocket of crackle carried by the handsome young man. Aleena then frowned. "Lang, since when do you like to eat seblak?" his tanyanya full of wonder.
Yes, they are old friends and close friends for about five years. Naturally, if Aleena knew a lot about Gilang's habits. Aleena even knew a lot about the young man before her from Erlan, her former lover.
"Since this moment," replied Gilang, relaxing. "To be exact, since my wife ordered it earlier," continued Gilang who increasingly made the white woman in front of him, astonished.
"Wife? A Gilang has a wife?" aleena asked with a demanding look in reply and Gilang nodded his head, confirming.
"Yes, Len. Why, something wrong?" She asked back and the woman with the oriental face shook her head.
"There's nothing wrong, Lang. It's just weird that I heard it. Because, you used to be very difficult to approach. In fact, many of our friends are heartbroken because of your cuekin." Aleena then chuckled, recalling her college years.
Gilang also smiled. "Everybody can change, right, Len?"
Aleena nodded, confirming. "It's just me who hasn't changed, Lang. I still regret what I did and still hope that Erlan will forgive me." Aleena took a long breath.
"Sit down, yuk, Lang. There's something I want to talk about," Aleena asked as she pulled Gilang's hand.
Inevitably, Gilang followed Aleena's request. The young man sat down before his old friend. A friend of nearly seven years who had never met because Aleena had to follow her parents who were assigned abroad.
A moment of silence greeted. There was a sense of awkwardness visible from Aleena's face. Perhaps, it was because of his guilt towards Gilang's cousin brother.
While Gilang also looks restless. The face of the wife who must have been waiting for her arrival who brought her favorite order. However, Gilang also felt bad if he had to reject the wishes of Aleena who wanted to speak.
"What do you want to talk about, Len?" tanya Gilang later, while looking at the luxurious clock on her right wrist.
"What about Erlan, Lang?" Aleena answered Gilang's question with a question Gilang could have expected.
Aleena nodded. "Yes, Lang. I still send him messages, ask him how he feels about me. But yes, that's."
"meaning?" Gilang looked at Aleena, demanding an explanation.
"She just cursoryly replied to every message I sent, Lang. Erlan never wanted to seriously respond to any of my apologies, my regrets, as well as my questions regarding her feelings for me right now. In fact, the past year she had only read my message, without giving a reply" Aleena explained at length. The woman breathed a heavy sigh later.
"To be honest, I still love her very much, Lang. I plan to meet Erlan next week, while waiting for my boutique grand opening and giving her an invitation. And I hope, I still have a chance to get Erlan's heart back" he continued.
Glazed shakes quickly. It made Aleena ask, "why Lang?"
"Bang Er is now happy with his wife, Len. I hope, you're not interfering with their household life!" resolute Gilang who then moved.
"I can't believe it, Lang! I can't believe Erlan could really forget about me and marry another woman!" Aleena is moving.
"Of course you can, Len. A few months after you left, Bang Er immediately took a woman. In fact, Bang Er had changed lovers before he found his current wife" Gilang explained and Aleena shook her head.
"The women are just Erlan's escape, Lang! I'm sure it is!" said Aleena, full of confidence.
"You're a pawn, Len! Bang Er has forgotten you! With his former lovers it may be that Bang Er is not serious because it is just a peddling, but with the last Bang Er is really serious and loves his wife very much!" resolutely Gilang.
"Already, Len. You've wasted my precious time. My wife must have been waiting at home, I must go home soon," said Gilang, without looking back.
Letting Aleena who was sculpting, alone. The narrow-eyed woman was still shocked by Gilang's explanation that Erlan had forgotten about her and was now married. Aleena was also shocked to hear Gilang's explanation that the man she still loved so much, loved his wife so much.
'Did I still have a chance to snatch him from his lucky wife?' whispered Aleena's heart.
