Shizuka Steady Chick

Shizuka Steady Chick
Disappeared

Debi was silent staring at the rolling ocean. He stood on the beach and occasionally closed his eyes while taking a deep breath. On the beach, no one came. Only Debi himself dared to come to that place. He then spread out his hands with his eyes still closed. Her dress danced with the gently blowing wind. Her hair also enjoyed the cool air.

Debi then took a step back about five steps. He opened his eyes and said, "Why can't I see this natural beauty with the people I love? Wh why? Why?" Sluggishly.

"Hahhhhh!" Erang Debi kicking the beach water.

He sat on the beach with both hands holding his forehead. His crying began to sound. He cried so hard that he was carried away by the waves. He was constantly crying over his poor self. Then he swam to the middle of the sea. He felt his pitiful self without his father and his lover. His unrelenting crying made him lose his spirit. The worse weather also felt the turmoil experienced by Debi.

"Vikram!" His murmurs kept swimming.

The wind that had been blowing gently, was now blowing hard. So tight, until the waves rolled quickly. The water is getting uncontrollable. Debi is swimming too. He ignored the extreme weather conditions. He who had lost his mind made him continue down the sea of beaches with a raging feeling.

"Where is Debi? I just keep looking for him. The weather is getting darker too!" Haikal got into his car.

"Jessi you're okay, son? Here's my mommy's gonna treat your leg. So next time don't run around on the big road again, son!" Zoya rubs Betadine on her knees.

"I'm sorry Jessi ma!" Jessi said in tears.

"Yes dear. You promise you don't play on the street again like that."

"Yes ma."

"Yes, you've rested in your room, son. Mama wants to continue cooking first. Remember not to go anywhere. If you need anything, call Mama okay!"

"Sipp ma!" Answer Jessi.

"Where else am I looking for Debi?" Haikal asked confusedly.

"Hey please! Ma'am! Sir! Help!!!" Shouted the ABG woman whose clothes were soaked.

"Why that?" Haikal asked paying attention to the lightning that came occasionally.

The ABG woman ran to a small cottage in front of Soucan beach. He looked at the passing vehicle. No one stopped to help him. Haikal, which is opposite it, came down and crossed the road that many vehicles pass. He approached the ABG woman.

"Why you, brother? Do you need help?" Ask Haikal.

"There was a woman who entered the beach Soucan. He's been there a long time. I've been watching him here. He looked frustrated and like there was no spirit of life. The Soucan beach is closed. But he still barged into Soucan Beach. Bad weather didn't make it back out of the beach. Is she okay in there?"

"Is that Debi?" Haikal Mumbles.

"Please her bang! Maybe something happened to her" asked the ABG woman.

"Is the woman we saw like this?" Haikal shows Debi's photo.

"It's right bang. Brother knows him? It seems like he already feels very lonely. That's why he went to Soucan beach. Angker beach!"

"Thank you for the information, Dik. You just wait here. Brother will go inside" said Haikal running through the heavy rain.

"I'm where is this? Why am I swimming alone?" Debi murmured looking at the vast ocean.

The waves kept pushing him until he could no longer swim. The more he fought the waves of the sea, the more his body carried away from the land. He looked panicked until he was constantly looking for a grip to hold on. The log that was in front of him could not be his pedestal to survive. He could not breathe air anymore. He sank into the ocean where no one was there. He screamed for help with occasional attempts to raise his head to the bottom of the ocean. But before long, he could no longer hold on. As fast as lightning he sank again.

Haikal who had just arrived at Soucan Beach did not see anyone there. He called out to Debi. Combing the beach by running around calling his sister's name. He was not tired of looking until he stared at the waves so high. There's no clue about Debi. He was sitting in the middle of the beach. His mind began to grow confused. Everything started to cross his mind. Last time he shouted again calling his sister's name. His body that was soaked was no longer ignored.

"Debi! You where?" His voice looked around the beach.

"What am I supposed to do? Debi's not here. But said that brother Debi here or do not-don't....? Debi!" His cry again walked into the ocean at a rapid pace.

Haikal traveled down the ocean with his weeping breaking newness. He fell into the sea that was already as high as his waist. He stopped his search because the weather was not friendly. He returned to the beach feeling. Then he called the police to say what happened to his sister. At that time, the police did not come. Probably because of the extreme weather.

It was a heavy rain day accompanied by lightning. Power outages also occur. The streets are also empty. Haikal sat on the beach with a blank look. The ABG woman approached him.He ventured after Haikal because it had been almost two hours he did not go off the beach. He approached Haikal. Looked at him with a pitying face.

"How bang? Did you find it?" Ask the ABG woman carefully for fear of mispronouncing.

Haikal turned to the ABG woman. He's actually very sad. But because of the rain, his cry made no sound. Only a worried facial expression was drawn on the hue of his face.

The ABG woman then fell silent. He told Haikal to go home. Haikal responded by saying, "I'll take you home. Let's go!"

"But what about the man you're looking for? I'll just go home by myself."

"I've called the police."

Haikal stared at the rapidly rolling ocean. He hoped his brother would not drown in the ocean. Then he went to take the ABG woman to his house. While on the way, he kept calling the police. They just casually answer that they will look for Debi if Debi disappears in 24 hours. Hearing that Haikal emotion. He stopped his car and hit his head on the steering wheel.

"Please stay calm bang. I'm sure your problem will be solved soon."

"But they didn't understand my condition one bit" he said.

"Hopefully nothing happened to the older brother, bang," the ABG woman hoped to point to the small house on the side of the road.

"This is your house?" Tanya Haikal stopped her car.

"Yes bang. Thank you for giving me a ride. Hope everything's okay. The police will be looking for the brother. Then all will be well" he said, calming Haikal down.

Haikal smiled and thanked him as well.

...****************...

The next day Herlina spoke to Haikal. He had not heard from Debi all day. Haikal didn't come home until last night. Haikal returned home at dawn. Herlina who was looking at him in a chaotic manner made him even more anxious. After Haikal entered the house, Herlina asked him to take a bath and eat. But Haikal was just staring at the door. He looked at his mother who looked uneasy about Debi.

"Where's Debi? Didn't you guys go home together?"

"Don't you make it home?" Ask her mother again.

"I didn't find Debi Bu. I've been looking for him everywhere. But I didn't find it" Haikal said in a trembling voice.

"What's? So Debi hasn't been with you all day? Where's she? Let's go find Debi now, son. You keep getting ready. I'll be waiting for you on the porch" said Herlina to go to the porch.

Haikal went after his mother.

"Mom Debi won't be coming back!" Haikal.

"Why did you say that? He's definitely back. I'm sure. You changed your clothes there now. I'm waiting here."

"Debi drowned in the sea ma'am."

"You're kidding Haikal, right? Debi is good at swimming. There's no way she's drowning" said Herlina, unable to look into Haikal's teary eyes.

"I don't have any proof yet, Mom. But there were people who saw Debi go to that beach. Moreover, yesterday it was raining heavily and the weather was very bad" Haikal explained in a panic.

"Who told you? Maybe he's the wrong guy."

"No Ma'am. He did see Debi. I've already told her to look at Debi's photo. He immediately replied that Debi was the one who entered Soucan Beach alone."

"What's? Soucan Beach? That's haunted beach, son. The beach was closed for a long time. Why'd he go there?" Said Herlina pacing back and forth.

"I don't know Mom. I called the police. They said they'd look for Debi if Debi went missing for 24 hours" Haikal said.

"No. That's too long. Debi's in danger. I'm going to look for him at Soucan Beach" said Herlina, running to find a taxi.

"Wait Mom! I'll accompany you" after Haikal.

They went to Soucan Beach together. Herlina continued to pray for Debi's safety. He asked Haikal to bring a car quickly to get to Soucan Beach. Haikal listened to his mother. They reached Soucan Beach quickly. Herlina got out of the car. He rushed to find Debi on Soucan beach. There he saw the vast beach was very quiet and made goosebumps. He started crying and called Debi. Haikal came to see his mother. She hugged her mother and said, "Patient mother. We'll find Debi."

"This beach is a danger, son. Kok Debi wants to go here. I don't know what took hold of his mind until he chose this place to calm his mind."

"I'm sorry Mom. My fault. Just try I can talk to her nicely and can hold her back from leaving. He must be with us now."

Herlina was crying in Haikal's arms. He could not see Haikal's face because he also felt guilty. In his heart he was very upset. He was upset about his life problems. As a result of her husband leaving. Then Haikal hated him and now Debi is gone. Herlina really doesn't know what else to do to find Debi. He let go of Haikal's embrace and ran into the calm sea.

"Mother!" Shouted Haikal clasping Herlina's hand.

Before long, Herlina stared at a necklace belonging to Debi. He saw the necklace stuck in a broken tree trunk whose trunk was porous. He approached the tree branch quickly. Haikal.

"What's wrong, ma'am?" Haikal asked confusedly.

Herlina did not answer Haikal's question. He took Debi's necklace. The necklace with the initial letter 'D' he looked at seriously. Then he cried again and said, "Debi! You where my dear son is!"

"That's Debi Ma'am's necklace!" Haikal took the necklace from Herlina's hand.

"Debi on this beach Haikal. Her necklace. Let's go find him, boy!" Pinta Herlina.
