TWO MONTHS LATER
September is almost over. Cracking re-enter the poisons to the ears to crowded his blood stream. So sick he squatted on the balcony of his room again like the days before. Every word that was thrown at him made him bite his lips and grab his hair firmly. His tears fell like rain falling to the earth. His facial expressions were already very dark. No warmth shone on it. Keep in a depressed state. Even though he was far from the settlement of Unicorn he still felt the anger of the citizens who burned his soul.
That night Shizuka wore a white dress whose arms were open. The length of the dress was on her knees. His slender body continued to be poked by the wind. His skin began to feel cold with an incredible bite. He also does not wear footwear. While on the balcony he imagined his life in the village of Unicorn. Balcony room is like a place to share the story because there is quiet and the place is directly faced with green fishermen.
When invited by Naoto and Pertiwi to the psychiatrist, Shizuka felt the direction of his life was out of control. He felt that his soul had been pounded into pieces. Moreover, the test results were also kept secret by Pertiwi. According to him, Laohan's doctor had known about the fragility of his heart so that no one told him the test results so that he would not get hurt more.
Shizuka tries to hide her injuries by doing various housework, starting her hobby, laughing and talking like she has no burden on life, and throwing away her old sheet full of daggers. Her miserable sobs made Zeexsa only able to listen to her from Shizuka's room.
Zeexsa, who had been in the room for a long time, could not greet her brother. He could not calm her down because he himself could feel how raging her brother's tribe was. The incident broke his heart. Zeexsa held back her crying voice so her brother wouldn't hear her. He bites the red sheets with tears that have flooded his chubby face.
A few minutes later, Shizuka's voice sings her favorite song.
"You are my sunshine
My only sunshine
You make me happy
When skies are gray
You'll never know, my dear
How much I love you
Please don't take
My sunshine away
The other night, dear
As I lay sleeping
I dream I helped you
In my arms When I awoke, dear
I was mistaken
So I hung my head and I cried
You are my sunshine
My only sunshine
You make me happy
When skies are gray
You'll never know, dear How much I love you
Please don't take My sunshine away," her singing was accompanied by a cry that made her voice indistinctly spoken.
His cries continued to break through the walls of his room. He became more emotional imagining people who did not give mercy to him. Pertiwi compassion is what awakens him who is already unable to stand. At that time the figure of the mother was seen in the form of Pertiwi. He wanted his mother who never came back.
"Sister until when will brother continue to cry in the solitude of brother?" Zeexsa muttered peeking at her brother.
"How do I prove to everyone that my mother is innocent. It's okay for me to be their lips. Provided that mothers are not considered bad by them," said Shizuka sobbing.
"I should have made them understand that my mother was a good person. My mother wasn't a destroyer of people's households. I'm sorry I couldn't clear their suspicions. Eh not suspicion, but accusation" he said again staring at the horizon without stars.
"I think Dad's being so indifferent because there's something that makes him angry. What is the cause? If I ask you, you won't answer. Who can answer my question?" Haikal Lamun.
"I'd better go to uncle's house. Who knows I'll get a lead. Mother didn't tell me. Not what. But I'm gonna find out the truth myself. It's 20:22 Wib. Looks like uncle is still watching this tv at this hour," he said taking a black jacket on his study table.
He's out of the room. Closing the door to his room slowly. Then he quickly walked down the stairs. He managed to get out of the house without being caught by his mother. Outside the house, Haikal's cell phone rang. He took his cell phone in his pocket.
"Huh Kartika? What's up he called at this hour. Hah mending does not need to be lifted," he said ignoring calls from Kartika.
He walked down the hallway of his uncle's house, a little hasty because he was worried that his mother would find out if she found out to his uncle's house to question his mother's past. In a rather dark hallway with a not so bright light he looked up and was a little awkward walking alone.
Haikal stared at the houses that were not open. Everything shut. Then he looked down the straight path. On the street he saw an ontel bicycle. Parked in the middle of the road that blocks the way. He glanced around her. Make sure the owner of the bike. But there's no one there. The strong wind started blowing the neat Haikal hair. He immediately moved the bike to the fence on his left.
When he finished moving the bike, the fence opened. He was amazed as he approached the fence. He looked at the white house. He didn't find anyone either. Haikal suggested that the fence must have not been locked so that the strong wind made the fence open on its own. He continued his journey to his uncle's house.
He had walked past the white house whose fence had opened itself earlier. After Haikal had gone far away, there was someone who had stood for a long time on that fence. He wore a black robe with a conical hat made of wool. Haikal did not see him who had noticed him moving the ontel bike.
He smiled grimly looking at Haikal who had walked far away. After that the mysterious person climbed onto an ontel bike. He cycled while whistling through the streets like flying into space. His whistling was so strong that Haikal stopped walking. Find the source of the whistling.
"Why was there such a weird thing? Maybe people were passing by. Maybe he was happy so his whistling got louder, too" he thought, continuing his journey.
"Where is uncle? Is everyone asleep? But it's still nine. At the beginning of his sleep," said seeing the door open.
"It looks like it's uncle. Thank goodness uncle has not slept," he said waving to his uncle.
"Haikal? In and out son!" Usman opened the gate.
"We're just sitting in this cabin, uncle!" Show Haikal to the cottage on the porch of Usman's house.
"Why don't you go inside, son? Many mosquitoes sit outside. It's not good to sit outside at night."
"Before uncle's time," Haikal persuaded gently.
Usman agreed and sat down with Haikal at the cottage.
"What's up, son? Why didn't you tell me you were coming?"
"Sorry uncle interrupts uncle's time. It's really important uncle."
"It's okay, son. What's important, son? Is your mother sick?"
"No. My mother is good, uncle. The problem is uncle's father."
"Why your father? Did you get any new news?" Ask Usman curiously.
"Dad I saw was at Sasaki's hotel. It turns out that all this time Dad was hiding from all of us. He was there uncle when I had business."
"Alhamdulillah you have found your father Haikal. What did your father say? Now he's back?"
"He said nothing but ran away from me uncle" said Haikal bowed.
"It turns out that his frustration with Herlina still remains until his own son is away," murmured Usman looked at Haikal's face with pity.
"I don't understand the situation Uncle is in. What made you avoid us? Dad hates me so much and Debi, too" his face stale.
"What did you say, son? Why are you so weak? Isn't Haikal strong and intelligent? Why don't you just try to get your dad to accept you and your sister? You can melt your father's heart.
"Uncle is not that easy. I know this father must have been some reason. I could feel from his gaze, actions as well as his cold attitude towards me. I think I'm very angry at you."
"Why do you say that Haikal?" Tanya Usman guessed Haikal's hunch.
"Uncle knows something, right? Tell me uncle. You're like this because of mom, right? W-what did mom do until dad left us uncle?" Haikal asked.
"Uncle.." he was still confused to talk or not.
"Say uncle. I'm ready to listen because I was a kid. I don't understand complicated adult affairs. Now uncle don't worry. I'm ready to listen to the cause of my father leaving us. Whatever it is I'll try to toughen up uncle" Haikal promised.
"Son this has been going on for a long time. Uncle knows from your mother. Uncle kept this secret because your mother asked you to shut up."
"I'm not going to tell my mom about this, uncle. I promise I won't tell mom that uncle told me."
Usman looked at Haikal with a confused feeling. For him the secret remains a secret until Herlina herself tells the truth. He also had to remain confident in his promise to Herlina not to tell Haikal or Debi. He was looking for an excuse not to answer Haikal's question. A few minutes after he thought. He found the idea to refuse to talk to Haikal. He told Haikal he wanted to get his little daughter to sleep first because the clock had shown her almost eleven o'clock. Haikal believed it. Haikal waited for his uncle for a long time outside. He also occasionally looks at the door. His uncle has not returned. Then he was about to enter his uncle's house, but when he saw the door of his uncle's house again, the door was closed.
Haikal took a deep breath. He suspected that his uncle deliberately avoided him so as not to tell the facts about his mother's lies. He stared at his watch and shook his head in disbelief that his uncle would rather hide the secret than find a solution to the problem. He came home with a heavy heart. He stared again at his uncle's house that he could not cooperate with. Then he left with a swift step.
He was still thinking about how to find the real information. On that road he walked slowly. He kicked the milk box packaging as a form of annoyance. Accidentally the milk box packaging hit someone in black robes earlier. Haikal didn't notice. He continued walking with both hands which he put into his pants pocket.
"The road, please be careful. Don't throw milk box packaging at people on the street huh son," said the mysterious man patting Haikal's right shoulder.
Sontak Haikal. He looked up and said, "Sorry Mom!"
"Where's that mother?" Haikal again saw an empty street.
He found no one but an ontel bike in the middle of the road right in the white house he passed when he went to his uncle's house. Haikal. His feelings are getting wrong. He approached the bicycle. Put it on the fence in front of the house again and said, "this bike is always parked carelessly," he said, staring at a photo in the field of the house.
The dim light made Haikal unable to see the photo clearly. He ventured into that house. Taking a photo as big as a palm. He looked at the photo by raising his eyebrows. He rubbed the photo again because it was dirty exposed to sand.
"It's not very clear. The light is not bright. I'd better take him home" he said out of the house.
The mysterious woman saw Haikal from the window. He smiled as Haikal brought a photo that would have helped him answer his questions about his family's problems. Arriving home, Herlina was ready to question Haikal who came home late at night. Herlina approached him with a flashlight.
"Mom must have slept. I came home on time" Haikal said in relief.
The flashlight pointed at Haikal's face. Haikal squinted his eyes. While Herlina applauded the attitude of Haikal who went and went home quietly. Haikal who realized that his mother had been in front of him immediately said that he was in the office business earlier. He also showed her the phone that Kartika had just contacted before.
Herlina believes. But he advised Haikal to always be honest with him and not to leave without his permission again. Haikal nodded in agreement and went into his room. While Herlina paced around because she was worried about Haikal why-why while out there. He was afraid that Haikal would meet the creepy woman. All the villagers thought of him as a cunning shaman. The shaman had long since died from being hit by a truck carrying fruits and vegetables into the hallway of Usman's house. It has been a long time since his father's departure.
"Alhamdulillah Haikal is fine. Then I go back to sleep again" said Herlina.
