Shivaratri: Destroy the Darkness
Finding a Way Out

Ganendra was determined, whatever he would do to cure Sadana. Rescue Princess Nalini from Ditya Kalandaru. Any way he took including going to meet Ditya Gorawangsa accompanied by Balin. Ganendra was about to challenge the Ditya. Ditya Gorawangsa who heard Ganendra's challenge, immediately came out of his hiding place.

“Khukhukhu... How dare you come to challenge me? Do you want to deliver life?”

Balin who heard the voice of Ditya Gorawangsa immediately hid behind a tree. He felt scared.

Different from Ganendra. Without fear, he faced the Ditya, “I came here to ask you to revoke Yantra Pengasrepan on my friend.”

Hearing Ganendra's request. Make Ditya Gorawangsa laugh. Only this time there are humans who have guts like Ganendra.

“Hemm let me think...”.

“Really? If so quickly unplug your yantramu.”

Ditya Gorawangsa increasingly chuckles.

“Do you think the rules of the world are that easy? you asked and you got it? Huahahaha!!”

Ganendra tried to hold back his emotions. However, he must save Sadana and Princess Nalini.

“I understand. There's a price I have to pay. Do I need to kneel to you? or do you want my life? I'll give you.”

“Bwahahaha!!! You really have the guts of a lowly Knight Saka.”

“Tell me what to do. Please insult me as you like.” reply Ganendra staring Ditya Gorawangsa sharply.

“You're an interesting young man. Alright…. I'm going to uproot Yantra Pengasrepan. But do one thing for me.”

“Say, whatever it is I'll do.”

Ditya Gorawangsa chuckled and cheered cunningly.

Flashbacks

The thick cloudy back lingered in Ganendra's mind. Problem after problem he's facing. His eyes stared at Sadana. Sadana's body was still shivering. He can't respond to anything. His condition is dying at the moment. Everyone felt devastated because of the failure to get the Wijayakusuma Flower. The loss of Princess Nalini.

Ganendra could only vent his anger by hitting a rock. Sometimes they hit trees. Heeded the wounds and pain in his fingers. True what the people said, he was a useless person at all.

Now his hand blows back up. I want to hit a tree. But someone swiftly held him back.

“Kakang Gane, stop..” the sound of sobs someone makes Ganendra stop.

He looked towards the source of the voice. Apparently the voice came from a little girl named Kemuning. Ganendra looked at Little Kemuning. Then crouch down so that his height is level with the girl.

“Why are you here?” ganendra asked as he stroked the hair of the orphan girl.

Kemuning has lost his parents. The Ditya attack that killed them.

“The back must be sad, right?” tanya Kemuning accompanied by sobs.

Ganendra commented a thin smile.

“I am only angry because I feel useless.” replied Ganendra with a sad face.

Kemuning held Ganendra's hand. Blow his wound so it doesn't hurt.

“Rear, do you know what the meaning behind your name is?”

Ganendra shook his head.

“In Siwaratri, Ganendra means the army of gods. Your father and mother gave you that name for sure not without reason. I'm sure Kakang will become a great Saka Knight later. Not a useless useless problem. But how do you grow to be strong and be able to overcome this. Dare to fight against the Ditya. Isn't that what your name means as an army of gods?”

Hearing Kemuning's words. Making Ganendra angry. This little girl had a wise thought. Somehow, determination grew back in him. The desire to save his friends, because maybe that is the meaning of the name given by his parents first. Become an army of gods who eradicate anger angkara.

“Wah, little girl. You're so wise.” suddenly Balin comes with a big smile.

Pointing his two thumbs at Kemuning.

“But, now I don't know. How to solve this problem.” said Ganendra bowed lethargic.

Balin thought for a moment. It was as if her small brain was also thinking. Seconds later…

“Aha!!! I know the way out.” said Balin with a big smile.

“Say, what is it?”

“We just meet Ditya Gorawangsa and ask him to revoke Yantra Pengasrepan.”

“Hei! Are you crazy. You think that ugly Ditya will smile. Then easily unplug the yantra?”

Balin stroked his aching head. Kemuning even laughed at Balin's proposal.

“But, right now that's the only way out. We can't possibly challenge Ditya Kalandaru. At least if we meet Ditya Gorawangsa. We can do any deal it.”

Hearing ‘word deal’ made Ganendra aware.

“True too. Ditya Gorawangsa is not like other Ditya who just mess up and prey on humans. Surely he has the brains to think.”

Balin nodded his head.

“Alright, we meet Ditya Gorawangsa. But how do I look for it? While we do not know where it is.”

Balin thought for a moment.

“Maybe we can go to forest, mountain, or goa. Then you just yell, call a name and challenge him to a fight. Maybe he'll hear.”

Although the proposal from Balin sounds unreasonable. But all ways must be done. Ganendra then invites Balin to find the whereabouts of Ditya Gorawangsa.

End Flashback

“What should I do?” ask Ganendra to Ditya Gorawangsa.

“Khukhukhu. Bring me the same stone inscription with the inscription in Luweng Braholo.”

Ganendra was silent for a moment.

So Ditya Gorawangsa wants to find out about Tirta Amerta? ask Ganendra in heart.

Ganendra remembered. The stone inscription he had read in Luweng Bholo was indeed incomplete. There's a missing piece of inscription.

“But how, I know where the stone inscription is. If I can't trace her trail?”

Ditya Gorawangsa chuckled again.

“You just need to steal it from someone.”

“Hiding is my forte. But who and where is the target?” asked Ganendra who was bragging. Considering he was once a master con man.

“The fragment of the stone inscription was brought by someone named Kalimakara. You must be no stranger to that name, right? She is in Punthuk Songo.” Ditya Gorawangsa chuckled again.

Ganendra was surprised.

"What is this really about. Why Ditya Gorawangsa would not take it himself. Is Kalimakara that strong?" Ganendra could only wonder to himself.

“Alright, I'll take the stone inscription. But keep your promise.”

“Huahahaha!!! Ditya Gorawangsa is the king of the Ditya. I'll keep my word. If you manage to bring me the stone inscription.”

The sound of laughter resounded. Then it disappeared with the black light that surrounded the body of Ditya Gorawangsa. Balin came out from behind the trees. After knowing Ditya Gorawangsa is gone.

“Ganendra, how is this? who is Kalimakara?”

Ganendra was silent for a moment, like thinking of something.

“The problem now, where is Punthuk Songo?” ask Ganendra to Balin.

“Ehmmm, I've heard of the village elders before. Punthuk Songo is located in the darkest forest in Swastamita. The gathering place was the aura of darkness. A place that cannot be touched. Especially by humans. Can die eaten by the Dark One.”

Ganendra remained silent for a moment, as if thinking of something. Then, he invited Balin to continue the journey.

“Ganendra, are you really sure you're going to Punthuk Songo? Oh, my God, I gave you the wrong advice. If it's like this it's the same as taking a life.” Balin started whining.

“Who said I'm going to Punthuk Songo?”

A smile on the corner of his lips. Then continue the journey. Balin who was tailing behind Ganendra wondered. Where did they go? If not to Punthuk Songo.

“Hei...Ganendra, where are we going?”

“Ikut only..”

Ganendra continued walking towards somewhere. But clearly the direction of the destination is not to Punthuk Songo. He realized, Kalimakara is a tough guy. There was no way he would fight or steal something from that crazy masked man. So, the only way is…..
