She's my Beloved

She's my Beloved
6. Everyone Needs Money

I just found out that Bima just sat in 2nd grade High School. And in two months there will be a class-raising exam. It's really an opportunity for me to make him really focus on learning.

The misunderstanding about ’kondom’ also finally ended because I ventured to help Bima explain to the Master and Madam that all was just the act of Bima's friend who was idle.

Since then, somehow Bima always looking for me. Always invited to study together in every time I have free time. And I would have been happy to teach her.

Because my main goal is to get him to go to class and if he can achieve the ranking in his class.

Mita, the Middle School girl also sometimes participated and asked to be taught although more often will be expelled by Bima.

“Bother you. Sana..sana.you will have your own tutor. study with your teacher aja.”

“Mba Lisa it's got me.”

Somehow I felt funny and amused to hear him demonstrate that I belonged to him.

Bima Base.

But late-this I was a little uncomfortable with Bima's gaze towards me. I don't know.

I feel like he's been staring at me more lately. Maybe it was just my feeling?

Bima also often scatter memeluku while showing the exam paper whose number is 100.

Hmm, I am also happy and also a little uncomfortable because his embrace is getting different.

A milkyo? What wrong with you?

“Where with Bima?” Dawin was suddenly sitting next to me.

“So far so Good!” answer me with a smile.

“I noticed he's getting closer to you.”

Complain, not my feelings. What don't-don't...

“He thinks you're like his own brother.”

Hah, I don't know why I'm relieved to hear those words.

“Please ya already made my sister pinter.”

I laugh. “Emang basically Bima is pinter really. Only well so far less in asah aja.”

“He is rarely like this person. I'm just not that close.”

Oh yea?

I just realized that Dawin and Bima are rarely together or joking together.

In contrast to Mita who looks closer and spoiled with Darwin.

“Are you not interested in becoming a teacher again?”

I was surprised to hear his question.

“You have a diploma right?”

I'm nodding.

Yeah, about a couple of weeks ago, I did get permission to go back to my old boarding house to get my files. Fortunately it did not disappear.

“You want, I can help you to apply.”

Darwin's offer just really got me thinking. Is the chance for me to become a teacher still there?

Moreover, the mother who finally managed to contact me continued to ask about my work in Jakarta.

You know I was fired from my old job, because my mom who worked there told me everything.

And until now I've been lying to my mom about my job.

“Mbak.”

Uh. Geez, this kid's making a shock.

“Why Bim?”

“Kok bengong aja? What was the same as Dawin?”

I smile. “Ngonggongyou.”

He sneered.

“Mba, I still have PR. Can you help me?”

I glanced at the clock on the wall. Time has shown 22.30. This child is still a learning spirit.

“Udah night. You get some rest. Tomorrow school.”

“But its PR should be collected tomorrow.”

This kid really is.

***

“Bimaaa, you want to play PR or even want to play games anyway.” ni kids really yes. He said he wanted to play PR, but instead ngajakin play PS.

Where it's late. Huahhh, sleepy.

“Eh. PR is tomorrow.” The answer is relaxing like a bajai.

“Kok tomorrow. But you said it should be collected tomorrow morning.”

Bima turned and as if just realized something. “Oh yes I forgot mba, it turns out her PR was collected the day after tomorrow, hehehe.”

“Ish, you are it. Tau this mending mbak sleep only. Tomorrow must work.” I rise to my feet. A little upset also because it's been in the same job this boy.

“Ehh.eh mba. Bentar..bentar.”

I turned around and glared at him. The one in pelototokin even grinned without sin.

“Still.”

I wanted to laugh when she thanked him in a cute style, but was immediately amused as she winked with a slanted smile.

It turned out that Dawin's offer to help me apply to become a teacher was not just a mere talk, because after finishing cooking dinner the man called me into his study.

Why go to the workspace?

“So much quieter chat.”

Uh, how could he know my thoughts. It's magical!

“Sit!”

I nodded and sat down on the chair right in front of him.

“Your value is pretty good too.” Dawin kept flipping through the transcripts of the grades I gave him.

“IPK 3.8” murmured slowly.

A second later his head looked up and looked at me in wonder.

Wh why?

“Background you are an education, why did you jump into the world of offices?”

Huftt. It's hard to explain.

“You are tired of college, PPL for a few months, why not remain a teacher?” ask again. “Darling is the science that you have achieved for four years even you wasted it.”

How wasted?

As if you knew what was on my mind, Dawin again said, “I mean, rather you've wasted your natural talent.”

I cringed not understanding.

Dawin smiled. “From the way you teach Bima and the way you convey the material I can see if you have the talent to teach.”

“I'm also sure that you have a good public speaking.”

Geez why this guy's guess is always right.

Ekhm, not that I want to be arrogant yes, but since college, I have been often asked to be a speaker at several events. So what Dawin said just now wasn't the first two times I've heard.

But after working for approximately 4 years in Jakarta, all buried just like that.

I rarely speak and tend to be quiet. I don't know

“So, what is your reason for choosing to become an office worker and leave your supposed profession?”

Waduhh, why is this another interview like this?

“Sorry, there is one reason I cannot explain. The sa_”

“What because his salary is too small?”

Whats?

Dawin laughed seeing my surprised face.

“Do not be surprised dong.” Slothfully.

“That part is also an open secret. Many teachers choose to resign because of the salary is too minimal. Not according to pegabdian.”

I don't know why I'm a little bothered to hear his words.

“Actually. No matter what you pay.”

"Keep why did you stop?”

Uh, he's smiling cynically. It's true my guess. He must be insinuating me.

I took a deep breath.

“For. I sincerely share my knowledge with my students, but basically I am a normal human being who needs money to continue living.”

“That's why you backed out and chose to work in the office?”

Hadduhh, why is he like a mojokin anyway.

“Ya.ya I know..i know.” He said quickly before I answered

“In this world there are rarely people who want to work sincerely without services. Though. the teacher said ‘hero without service mark’.”

I don't know, the more I get here, the more this chat makes me so nervous.

I want to make a defense, but it feels free. I think this guy already thinks of me as an unprofessional teacher.

Who wants to share knowledge because it is paid.

That's not true at all. Teacher was my goal long ago. I don't even care how much I want to pay. I even willing if asked to become a volunteer teaching staff in Papua there.

But the circumstances and circumstances did not allow me to realize my dream.

There are parents and sisters I need to think about. They need money. And I need money too.

Everybody needs money.
