41. A Rule.

***Golden Healthy Hospital***

Nitami pulls and exhales before finally answering Davin's question about Mr. Nicolas Orlando's gunshot wound.

"yes it was a gunshot wound" Nitami replied confirming what Davin had asked of him.

"did you know the gunshot wound was new or long?" ask Davin back.

"if you look at the wound infection, it's been over a week. But no action by Mr Nicolas? so he often feels his endurance is weakened and the pain of his injuries can still be felt" explained Nitami confirming what Aldi told Davin?

Davin stared intently at Nitami. Aldi who was lying down got up and sat on the edge of the bed. He looked towards Davin and Nitami in turn. Nitami stared at Davin.

"wouldn't that be a problem for you?" davin asked, worried about the look on his face. Aldi also looked at Nitami who was still silent.

"i'm just the doctor who treated him. What trouble will I get?" ask Nitami. He wants to know what Davin meant?

"don't you know who Mr. Nicolas Orlando is?" asks Davin to lure Nitami, does he really not know? or just pretending not to know?

"do I know who he is?" instead of answering, Nitami asked back.

Davin is still staring intensely at Nitami's face, he knows Nitami is currently being serious about what he says? Nitami is not lying. He really doesn't know who Nicolas Orlando is? That's what Davin has in mind right now.

But not with Nitami, the look of his flat face can not be guessed by anyone? isn't Nitami his name if he can't act like he doesn't know anything? But he actually knew what Davin meant?

Nitami knows who Nicolas Orlando is? a famous businessman who has a background in the underworld or the mafia world. A famous and richest businessman number one in town A. A businessman who lived in England for a long time and had just arrived a few days ago.

Nitami knows everything about Nicolas Orlando's information, he has someone who can be relied on well in providing information about someone. So now Nitami is just pretending to know nothing in front of Davin? He wants to know what Davin's gonna do?

"i hope you're heart-felt with him. He's someone who's closely related to the underworld or the mafia world. I suspect he was shot by one of his enemies." Davin wanted Nitami to be careful from now on.

"can you divert Mr. Nicolas from not being your patient?" davin has two goals.

One goal, Davin doesn't want Nitami to have a problem because he becomes the doctor who treats Nicolas's gunshot wound. One more goal ,Davin does not like to see the closeness of Nitami and Nicolas. He wants Nitami to stay away from Nicolas Orlando.

"can I break the hospital rules?" asked back Nitami looked intensely at Davin, then turned to look at Aldi who also looked at him seriously.

Aldi seemed to know Nitami's eyes, and he also knew what Nitami's question meant to Davin?

"you're right, Doctor Nita. Davin, as a doctor at Golden Healthy Hospital, cannot break the rules set by the hospital. A doctor who has been selected directly by a VVIP patient, cannot refuse or avoid the patient. Unless the pain from the patient is beyond our expertise" Aldi explained.

Davin could hear Aldi's explanation very clearly, but he was still silently loyal to the sight of his eyes pointing towards Nitami who was in front of him. In his heart he did not like Aldi's explanation.

"who made that rule?" davin asked unaware of himself.

The rules he set along with Mr. Markus, when deciding on receiving a special VVIP patient. Aldi and Nitami looked at each other for a moment, then he turned to see Davin back. While Max put on a face of not believing what his master said unconsciously?

"Davin, did you forget or did you pretend not to know, if that rule was you and Mr. Markus who made it when deciding to accept special VVIP patients." aldi said he could not believe that Davin had forgotten the rules he made himself.

Davin immediately looked at Aldi who was looking at him in wonder, then turned to look at Nitami who was still staring at him flat. Davin completely forgot about it, too many rules he set and the work he did, so he couldn't remember everything.

"Max…!" call Davin.

Davin wants answers from Max, and the answer he wants is not him who sets the rules, which makes Nitami in trouble unable to turn down a VVIP patient.

"yes, sir, what Aldi said is true" Max replied, successfully making Davin surprised to turn his body back quickly to see Max.

Nitami was silent, she just glanced at Aldi who was looking at her for a moment. Davin stared intently at his personal assistant, a stern look that said 'you're Max'.

Max swallowed his saliva with great difficulty, knowing that his master was angry with him for an answer that Davin did not expect.

'I'm dead, I always have. Sir, you're sometimes unfair to me. You do, but I'm always wrong Max murmured in his heart.

Nitami and Aldi pity to see Max who gets a sharp glare from his master. But they know who and how Davin is? he is very stubborn, and does not like to be blamed, even if it is a mistake that he did. Davin is too selfish to be perfect.

Davin does not want to fall and is looked at badly by Nitami, he wants to change and put Nitami in a safe position at this hospital.

"from tomorrow change the rules to Max." he ordered Max.

"but sir…!" max stopped.

"I'm the owner of this hospital, so I have the right to decide whatever I want to decide."

"sorry sir, you also have to get approval from Mr. Markus" Max said, not wanting his master to look for new problems.

Davin looked back again, a sharp and cold look back at Max. Davin doesn't seem to have the authority to do everything right now. Davin doesn't like this.

Davin got up from his seat, he stepped closer to Max. Max's body has stiffened and swallowed his saliva with difficulty, will a sharp gaze and dark aura that is now on Davin. Davin embraces Max's shoulder with a slightly firm squeeze on Max's right shoulder.

"Max...what have I decided? must it be done whatever happens?" davin pressed down on every word.

"Max.. Look at me!" call Davin. Max looked to his left side, a threatening smile now clearly visible from Davin's mouth.

Max knows his master is not satisfied with the answer he gave, Max knows Davin does not want to look bad in front of Nitami.

"well sir, I will." replied Max in the end relented.

But in his heart, it was one of those problems that would be very difficult for Max to solve. How could he oppose Mr Mark? he is still in control of every decision, of all the companies and assets the Fardhan Family owns.

Nitami and Aldi know, Max is now getting hard pressure from Davin. But they both do not want to interfere in Davin and Max's affairs, they are only a doctor who can cure and treat the sick. I don't understand the business world.

"great…!" davin patted Max's right shoulder.

"you are my assistant who can always count on" he said with a suspicious smile.

Max knows that if Nitami is not in front of them, Max will get a kick from Davin and a penalty that may not be shadowed by others. But Davin's suspicious smile had already answered everything. Only Max knew the meaning of the smile.

'so what if a man is in love, he will do his best in front of his woman? mr. Davin threw the stone, but I was hit by the stone. It was unfair.' Max murmured in his heart, an outpouring that he could not get out.

Davin, satisfied with the answer from Max, can now show pride in front of Nitami. Nitami won't be stuck on VVIP patients anymore, Nitami won't be anywhere near the Nicolas Orlando she suspects.

Davin can see how Nicolas's soft and warm gaze looks at Nitami? a look that hints at a admiration for a woman. Davin doesn't want Nicolas to be close to Nitami, more precisely Davin doesn't like to see Nitami close to any man?

"so this problem will be solved, no, you can refuse not to be a doctor from Mr. Nicolas" said Davin in a calm and proud manner, sitting back with a happy look at Nitami.

Instead of Nitami answering Davin's remarks, she looked at Aldi instead. Again Aldi who had to explain it to Davin, Aldi felt himself as a bridge between Nitami and Davin. While Nitami is actually too tired to serve all Davin's speech and behavior tonight.

Aldi who understood the nitami's gaze was forced to answer Davin's words representing Nitami.

"it can't be Davin, Nitami is the doctor who operated on Mr. Nicolas, he will remain the doctor who handled Nicolas until he recovered" Aldi replied representing Nitami.

"where else is that?" asked Davin looking sharply at Aldi. He was not satisfied with Aldi's reply which did not support him.

"that's our rule as a doctor. We cannot just let go or leave the patients we have been dealing with in the middle of the road. If we do that, it's the same way we break the rules and break our vows to be a doctor" Aldi explained.

Davin's sharp gaze looked at Aldi, unable to make Aldi fear him. What did Aldi say? it is the truth that exists. Davin has to know and understand it all, not everything Davin wants he has to get.
