Chapter 1: The Shadow of Death Revealed
The night wind gently blew between the majestic pillars of the Royal Palace. The full moon hung high in the sky, illuminating the desolate courtyard. Only the sound of the guards' footsteps could occasionally be heard in the silence of the night. Behind the trees, a dark shadow lurked with mystery.
King Adrian III sat on his throne, looking at the window of the palace with a restless expression. When his name was spoken, his body trembled. Such was the impact caused by the Shadow of Death. The news of the powerful assassin permeated the walls of the palace and haunted the king's mind.
The royal secretary, Lord Harrington, stood beside him, trying to appease the anxious king. "Calm down, Your Majesty," said Lord Harrington in a soft voice. "We will find the Shadow of Death and bring justice to this kingdom."
King Adrian III nodded, but his gaze remained blank, full of worry. "Lord Harrington, whoever this Shadow of Death is, he has an incredible skill set. His tasks were completed with speed and accuracy that we had never seen before. Why would he do it? Who the hell is he?"
Lord Harrington shook his head. "Until now, the identity of the Shadow of Death is still mysterious to all of us, Sire. He had evaded the safety entanglement and infiltrated into the minds of the people shrewdly. Every time we think he's been shot, he's gone like smoke."
King Adrian III pondered for a moment. "We must stop him before he reaches his final intention. If he really wanted to kill me, this kingdom would be a mess."
"Trust me, Sire," said Lord Harrington confidently. "I will send our secret agents to every corner of this kingdom. We will dig up the trail and obtain information about the Shadow of Death. I won't stop until he's arrested and paid for his actions."
King Adrian III nodded, thanks to Lord Harrington's determination. However, in the king's heart, there was doubt. Will they be able to catch the slippery Shadow of Death? Does anyone know who he really is? Does anyone dare to fight it?
Amidst the darkness of the night, the Shadow of Death pondered at his hiding place. He heard news of a planned arrest by the kingdom. However, a mysterious smile was etched on his face. No one knows what is hidden behind
his mask. No one knows his true motivation.

On a clear morning, the sun rose resplendently over the majestic kingdom. At the palace, Lord Harrington calls the kingdom's best secret agent, Gabriel, for a private meeting. Gabriel is a mysterious man, with an uncanny ability in disguise and information gathering.
Lord Harrington took Gabriel seriously. "Gabriel, the Shadow of Death is drawing closer to the king. We need to quickly uncover his identity and stop him before it's too late. You are our last hope."
Gabriel nodded firmly. "I'll track down every lead, Lord Harrington. The shadow of Death will not escape me."
Gabriel's mission begins with interrogating prisoners who have come into contact with the Shadow of Death. In a rundown prison, he meets a criminal who once dealt with the killer. Cleverly, Gabriel provoked information from the mouth of the criminal.
"I know his identity" whispered the criminal with fear emanating from his eyes. "His name... Maxillian."
Gabriel was shocked to hear the name. However, he could not completely believe the words of a criminal. He decided to gather further evidence before taking it a step further.
Meanwhile, in the hidden place of the Shadow of Death, a gripping atmosphere was felt. He felt a trace of Gabriel getting closer to his secret. The Shadow of Death knew he could not let his guard down. He had to protect his identity and make sure his plan went smoothly.
The Shadow of Death made a bold move by sending threatening letters to king Adrian III. The letter contained mysterious sentences that shook the king. "Time goes through the sand like an invisible shadow. The vulnerable ruler of the throne, who do you find behind the curtain of mystery? Don't you realize that the Shadow of Death is always by your side?"
King Adrian III received the letter with unspeakable anxiety. He felt surrounded by an invisible darkness, not knowing who could be trusted around him. Lord Harrington tried to convince the king that they would find the answer, but the king remained in deep fear.
Gabriel, with a burning determination, returned to his secret headquarters. He traced the traces left behind by the Shadow of Death. After hours of investigation, Gabriel discovers an ancient book hidden in the palace library. The book contains clues about the life of the Shadow of Death.
Trembling, Gabriel read the words scratched in the ancient pages. "Maxilian, the invincible assassin. His face was hidden behind a mysterious mask. He's a shadow between us, lurking with secrets."
