Rehan's Story

Later that night, Rehan returns to see Reva in his room after an argument this morning. Reva was still lying moody on her bed, her eyes completely puffy from crying constantly.

"out! " Say Reva coldly without moving or looking at Rehan at the slightest item

Rehan, who was still the same as this morning, chose to be silent and did not reply or heed Reva's words. Instead, Rehan was sitting next to his mattress with his legs bent.

Rehan was silent for a moment, with his hand that had been holding a necklace with the shape of love.

"Do you hate me that much? " Tanya Rehan finally opened the conversation

"Yes" Reva answered briefly without the slightest hesitation especially because of Rehan's treatment during these two days

Rehan sighed, staring at the photo tucked in the love-shaped kaling "Did you not want to hear the reason? Why would I do something like this and deceive everyone?" Ask Rehan

Reva only fell silent at Rehan's question. For him he could no longer believe what Rehan had said. The fact that he cheated and betrayed her was enough to make her reluctant to trust him a second time.

"Please don't hate me so much. This is the first time I've been so attracted to someone that I've been willing to take off the revenge I've been putting together for years. I even still let them breathe with relief out there, even when my mind was at all times asking me to kill them"

"What have you done to Nevan? Are you really..? " Tanya Reva could not continue her words

"He had an accident.. He's in the hospital and he's still unconscious.. " Rehan answered, not to hide it anymore

Reva suddenly woke up looking at Rehan who was now leaning his head on the bed watching Reva's reaction.

"I want to see him.. Let me go? Hm? I beg Rehan hiks..!" Pinta Reva pleaded, this time in a soft tone without the slightest clash like before

"Sorry.. I can fulfill all your requirements. But not with this one.. " Repush Rehan did not like it

"I beg Rehan. Let me see him, Rehan hiks.. "

"Sorry Reva.. " Rehan said holding Reva's hand tightly

"I don't need your apology, I just want to see him" Reva said, shouting slightly as she threw Rehan's hand

"He'll be fine. He's not gonna die soon. He just hasn't regained consciousness. I've been kind enough not to make him die this time so stop asking for such absurd things" Rehan said sharply

"Why hicks..? Why are you doing this? " Tanya Reva sat helplessly

"You really want to know? Do you really want to hear what they did to me? More precisely my mother? " Tanya Rehan looked at Reva softly

"They killed my mother" Rehan said withholding tightness in her chest, her shadow - the shadow as her mother lay helpless - flashed back through her mind

"What do you mean?" Reva's question closed her mouth not understanding what she had just heard

"They killed my mother.. " Look at Rehan's teary eyes as he said it, his lips quivering with a tongue that was unable to utter it

"I can tell if they only killed my father because he deserved it. Butwhy? Why should they treat my mother like that. My mom's not even a whore, so why? Why should they do that to my mother? "

Reva just silently heard the word by word spoken by Rehan who increasingly made his chest feel tight, making him forget Nevan's condition in the hospital for a moment.

"For 2 years my mother and I worked to pay off my father's debts. But you know what? Those bastards didn't just bring my mother money, they even brutally abused her. It wasn't enough to do that, they ended up killing my mother. The only person so precious in my life was snatched right in front of me"

"With all that in mind, do you think I would just keep quiet letting them live happily while my mother died in such a miserable state? Even their deaths were not enough to avenge the pain and humiliation my mother felt"

Without Reva noticing, her tears fell down to imagine the pain Rehan felt back then. Even though he did not know the whole incident, he still felt sympathy for what he felt.

"Sorry.. I shouldn't have vented it on you" Rehan said, realising his words and trying to stand up and leave the room before he got completely out of control

"No.." Reva pulls Rehan's arm preventing him from going "Tell me" Pinta Reva wants to hear everything in detail

Rehan then sat back on the floor, next to Reva's bed. Sitting leaning back with a still-down chaplain trying to calm his heart and mind that had been holding back the anger from remembering the heartbreaking incident.

"I was 11 years old when my father ran away his employer's money. And the employer I'm referring to is Haris Elard Caleis, Nevan's father" Rehan said, but Reva had put on a face of disbelief at the name Rehan had just mentioned

Not because of Nevan but because of her father. He really did not expect it, he did not expect to hear the name from Rehan. Especially since Nevan's father was very different to what he currently heard from Rehan.

"It's hard to believe, isn't it? The figure of the person you've been seeing is very different from what I said. In my eyes he was nothing more than a heartless cold man. Even after all the hard work done by my mother, she had instead let her subordinates toyed with my mother's body"

"No.. It's just that my back looks so lonely. Besides, it's only natural that I hug you at a time like this because I already consider you as my foster brother"

Hearing that, Rehan stood up and took off Reva's embrace "I told you, I like you as a woman. I have no desire to be your adoptive sister" Regan recalled before leaving to leave Reva, who was currently laying down her body confused by everything that happened
