The atmosphere of the hospital was so crowded by the many people passing by, looking a young man with a tangled face, the cluttered clothes with blood splattered everywhere walked pacing in front of the tightly shut door of the operating room. It was seen a red light burning on it sign that an operation was underway inside.
While in the waiting chair was seen a little girl about 2 years old sleeping in the lap of a young woman with an appearance that was no less chaotic than the man.
It has been almost 2 hours they wait at the place, hoping anxiously waiting for the good news to be delivered from inside the operating room.
Shortly thereafter the door of the room slowly opened displaying a green-robed figure complete with a mask on his face as well as a head covering that wrapped his hair.
“How are my wife and child, Doctor?” asked the young man who rushed over when he saw a doctor coming out of the operating room.
The doctor just kept silent and looked towards the young man with his calm face.
“Pak, heartbreak, you. Before I want to apologize, I as a doctor and our team have tried everything we can, but God wants another.”
Deg.
The young man's body stiffened instantly, he felt his chest beating faster than usual. His face looked pale, he saw things he did not want in his mind, but soon he shook off those bad thoughts.
“A-what do you mean, Doctor?” asked the young man in a trembling voice.
“Sorry, your wife can't we save.”
Slowly the young man's body slumped onto the floor of his cheeks wet with tears that he could not contain, he sobbed softly without a sound.
“Pak, you have to take care of administration and sign the patient action handling letter, because your daughter must immediately get further action,” explained the Doctor as calmly as possible.
Not because the doctor did not feel empathy for the young man in front of him, but he had to be professional as a doctor. Not just once or twice has he been in a case like this.
The young man raised his face when he heard the doctor in front of him say about his daughter, instantly resuscitating her from the ugliness.
“A-what did the Doctor say earlier?” asked the young man to make sure that his hearing was not wrong.
The young man stood up again and was helped by the doctor.
“What a miracle from God, your daughter was successfully born in this world, Sir.”
“Aalhamdulillah's. Thank you, Doctor!” the young man replied quickly.
“But your daughter should be taken immediately to the NICU room because of several things, Your daughter was born prematurely at the gestational age of Your wife who just entered 28 weeks, weighing less than 2000 grams. And also the condition of the mother who experienced severe bleeding and amniotic fluid that broke faster. So your daughter must get special handling because some of her organs have not worked perfectly.”
“Do your best, Doctor!” said the young man still with his voice.
“Then I excuse you, Sir.”
The young man could only nod his head. The doctor came out of the operating room followed by several nurses who pushed the baby incubator with a tiny baby inside.
After the departure of the doctor who handled his wife, the woman who had sat down and just listened to their conversation walked closer to the young man while holding his little daughter who was still asleep.
“Mas ...,” call the woman.
“I failed to look after him,” ogled the young man.
“Mas, all this is not your fault. Zahira's fall wasn't your fault, Mas Harun!” exclaiming the woman resuscitated the young man in front of her who continuously blamed himself.
“It's my fault, Tasya! Zahira is like this because of me, if I had stayed home with her, none of this would have happened. Zahira is still pocketing here.”
“Aware, Mas! Don't blame yourself! Remember, we're still here, me and Nindy will always be with you. Remember your daughter who was in the NICU!”
“All my fault! My fault! I lost my wife Zahira,” her glass with tears that kept breaking through her defenses.
“I'm still here, I'm also your wife, Mas!” tasya exclaimed making his little princess flinched in shock in her carriage.
“Harun!” exclaimed a resolute voice from a middle-aged man with a white sideburn on his face.
Aaron and Tasya simultaneously turned their heads towards the source of the voice.
“A-Abi, when did Abi come?” aaron asked stuttered in front of his father-in-law.
“What does that woman say?” abi Atha said in a flat voice.
“Emh, Abi, i-it's me ...” Aaron was at a loss to explain to his father-in-law, a man who was disinclined by many.
“Who are you, Nak?” asked the middle-aged woman clad in syar’i clothes covering her entire body to Tasya.
“I am his wife in Aaron, Bu.” Tasya plainly answered the question of the woman who approached him.
Bugh!
One blow landed on Aaron's face, the culprit was a burly man wearing a white robe complete with a black peci on his head. After hearing the news that Zahira was in the hospital, the four of them rushed to leave the event they attended even the event had just begun. But they get a surprise from Aaron and the woman who claims to be his wife.
“What do you mean Aaron? You are polygamous without our knowledge?” angry at the cloaked man, who was none other than the older brother of Zahira.
“Quiet Hamdan! Hold your emotions!” abi Atha asserted calmly, he did not want his son to be unable to control his emotions. Especially to cause a commotion in that place.
“But Abi, he-” Hamdan did not continue his words because he saw his ashes staring intently at him, then he turned his gaze toward his uminya who also shook his head slowly. A sign that Hamdan does not dispute his ashes.
“Where is abi's daughter, Aaron?” ask abi Atha.
Harun and Tasya were silent, and no one among them intended to open their voices. Until the door of the operating room opened, several sisters were pushing a gurney with someone lying on it with a cloth covering the entire body of the person.
All eyes stared at the door, and Aaron quickly ran to the gurney and hugged his wife. He wept over Zahira's stiffened body. His actions raised many questions that arose in the minds of the four people who were dressed all in white.
Hamdan violently pulled Aaron's body making him fall backwards.
Abi Atha and his wife approached the gurney with their hearts pounding. Slowly Abi Atha's hand opened the cloth covering the face.
Deg.
Everyone was silent in his place, umi immediately sat on the floor with tears that managed to escape from his eyes. Hamdan's wife immediately grabbed his mother-in-law's body into his arms.
Mr. Aaron came to his senses from his daydreams about past events when he felt someone shake his shoulder.
“Pa!” Zahra shook the shoulder of her father who was silent earlier.
“Sorry, Dear. At that time your grandfather and his extended family had not seen your presence. They think you are not saved along with the departure of your mother,” said Mr. Aaron with regret.
“But why didn't Papa tell them?” zahra was a little annoyed.
“Sorry, papa doesn't want to lose you either. Your brother has lived in the school since he was 3 years old, at that time Zahira joined papa wander into the city, and 4 years later he left papa for good.” A look of sadness on the middle-aged man's face, visible wounds emanating from his eyes.
“Your grandfather asked Papa for permission to take care of his daughter's body and bury her in their hometown, in the village in the place where your grandfather's boarding school was founded. As for Zahran, papa gave it to Mas Hamdan to educate him and consider him as their son, because until now they have not also had children.”
“Bad papa!” peekkik Zahra then walked towards her safe and climbed on top of her, dropped her body and covered her with a blanket.
“Sayang ..”
Zain prevented his father-in-law from catching up with Zahra. “Let him calm himself!”
