The Kingdom of Nire did not separate the continents from the Kingdom of Aiden, but the seasons of these two kingdoms were always opposite.

The Aiden Kingdom would enter winter in a few weeks, while the Nire Kingdom was quite calm with a not-so-hot summer. Even so, Liy Mindy still gave her two guests, Jens and Reflin Kailen a head covering to avoid the scorching.

"This is the capital's square, every few months of the year a festival will be held in honor of the Gods."

"When will it last?"

God, Reflin was interested in that because light magic was something that came from Gods.

Tower Magicians are different from most Magicians whose magic energy comes from nature, they are endowed with light magic based on heredity. Every noble family has that one blessing and gives his son to work in the magic tower willingly for the rest of his life.

"That's about three days from now."

"There should be some decorations as we pass through the market" Jens said, biting at the salty cake Liy bought from one of the shops in the market. "Is there a lot of good food?"

"Of course, I'm sure you won't forget the experience of visiting the festival."

"I'm looking forward to it" Jens left when he found a food store.

Liy and Reflin followed because it was indeed the direction they were going.

"Will there be lanterns?" Reflin opened his voice to ask again. He had heard that the Kingdom of Nire flew lanterns as a sign of worshiping the god of light, as well as the single god that the citizens of the Kingdom of Aiden worshiped.

Liy Mindy unhesitatingly shook her head.

"It's summer, we won't fly a lantern but turn off the light in honor of an ancient story."

"Huh?"

Reflin's forehead was wrinkled, he did not know the Nire kingdom well so did not know the culture.

"In the ancient books of the Kingdom of Nire, there were two recorded Gods; the God of light and the God of Darkness who regulated the movement of day and night so that no prolonged eclipse would break the order. We believe in it and worship them, their existence is like a mother taking care of us."

"However, I have never heard of the blessing of the Dark God."

Liy chuckled, "There are not even magicians blessed by the Dark God in this region."

Perhaps because the Nire Kingdom was better known as the Kingdom of science, magic was a slightly rare thing to have, unlike the Aiden Kingdom where all the inhabitants had that blessing.

"Why?"

"Because the Dark God loves long-lived creatures."

Their conversation was interrupted as Jens broke through the middle with three pieces of apple candy, there was a childish smile as he handed one of them over to Liy.

Then turning to Reflin who was looking at him in a daze, no one had ever given the Apple candy to an adult male even their own two parents, even when Reflin was a child, that still doesn't happen.

However, Jens does not know about it, all he thinks about is the food and the excitement of the holiday. Presumably, he quickly adapted to the Nire Kingdom better than anyone else.

"It's sweet, try it!"

"Thank you, Mr. Jens," Liy sincerely thanked. Both have an interest in sweet things that might damage their teeth.

However, take it easy, older brother Liy always teaches to maintain good health in order to be handsome, although the practice is not that easy.

"Oh yes Liy, can the end of your visit take me to the souvenir? I want to buy something for my friends."

Reflin glanced, who is this weirdo who befriends a strange creature like Jens?

That guy must have a disorder.

"We have a lot of souvenir centers in the Capital City," Liy said, he was proud to have remembered the tourist route.

"That's great," Jens smiled, "and please treat me to souvenirs."

"Huh?"

I suppose.

"I don't like you! huhuhu, my precious sweet money."

Liy regretted the contents of his empty pocket. He thought the souvenirs in question were fruits such as cakes or parcels of fruits that grew in summer, instead of magic equipment that was extraordinarily expensive.

Liy dropped down by hugging Reflin's feet that stood upright, his pink eyes staring at Jens full of horror. Come on, the man who was appointed as the companion of the neighboring Kingdom princess has been draining the contents of her savings since five months ago.

Curse Liy and his bad taste.

"really? blame me for not knowing the price of magic," replied Jens, the canine teeth that peeked from the gap of his lips now seem annoying.

"That's because you're stupid," Reflin clucked his tongue, bored.

"Yayaya the venerable Master of the Great Witch should teach his knowledge to these lowly people" Jens replied with a slanted smile.

"It's free to teach a twisted-brained person."

"That's possible if you're also bent-brained," Jens took a pause and began to observe, a second later he spoke again, "Ah, it looks like you're abnormal."

"It feels strange to be praised by a more abnormal person."

Liy shivered in the middle of the cold war, finally the hostility of the two men reached the brain of a single piece of green beans Liy. However, he still tried to melt the atmosphere by starting small questions.

"Mr Jens, are you also a witch?"

"Not."

Jens again bites the remaining cake while storing the magic tools into the bag he just bought.

"Then this magic tool?"

"This is for my men, my friend errat. I don't know why he's always relying on magic." Jens touched the end of his chin and began to think. "He looks like he has no problem."

"That's because the magic is weak," I don't know why, Reflin's words were clearly directed at Jens. "Magicians rarely buy magic objects from other Witches, therefore magic objects are rare and expensive as you are currently experiencing."

Liy as being deceived, he was somewhat offended.

"It's not like him, how do I describe it. Huh, I know. She's like a witch who's still shy about using her magic because she's just a witch?"

"Omong is empty, the new Witches I know are always laughing at their weak magic. Your friend's brain may be impaired by relying more on magical objects than laughing arrogantly like other new Witches" Reflin said.

Clearly lightning did not like him, as the Great Witch who often became the mentor of the eldest son of the Nobles, he clearly knew the typical new magician, arrogant and only big talk.

However, there was a new witch that caught his attention lately. Someone rumored to be the legitimate heir of the Magic Tower.

"Yes, maybe because he's guilty because his energy once clashed with my body."

"What are you talking about?"

"The energy clashed-"

"You're stupid, huh? Witches in general usually use natural energy that matches that of a living being, if your body cannot receive the energy of nature means you are undead!"

"No-no," Jens lifted the necklace he was wearing, "This canyon worked on me before, and it contains the magic of Mr. Delvon, he's a witch in general."

"Huh?"

"Huh?"

Liy Mindy separated these two people quickly when she felt an uneasy air.

"Let's go in, I'm sure you're tired."
