EPISODE 29

It was never imagined by Edna, that her life path would be this small. His mouth was very easy to say apart, but his heart kept on fretting, longing and constantly hoping to meet.

To this day, Dayona's name still rests firmly in her heart. The pain in his heart, instead made him remember even more who hurt him. That's love.

Edna's reason for letting Dayona go was the fact that she wasn't the first. The fact that sleeping with many women is a common thing for him. This, made Edna realize, that what Dayona did to him was clearly without taste. He was just looking for satisfaction.

However, the desire to hold Dayona accountable has also existed. Until then, Obed came to see him, when Obed went to the house to visit Edward.

"Na, you know what? Who made Edward break up with Kavana?" whisper Obed.

"Haaah???? Edward's brother broke up? How can you, brother? Since when?" Edna was surprised not to be a bitch.

"You just found out, Na?" replace the surprised Obed.

"Yes, Edna just heard from Brother. Really broke up, brother? Answer???" please Edna.

"Right, Na. .. has broken them up, it's been a while, anyway." replied Obed.

"Why break up, brother?"

"Kavana cheated!" obed said by emphasizing the word cheating.

"Whose cheating, brother? How could you, Kavana would do that to Kak Edward,"

Obed was silent. It was like trying to answer Edna's question.

"Yeah, who's the same?" edna.

"Sister will say, but you have to promise?"

"What promise, brother? Cepetan??!!!" Edna was impatient.

"Okay, first promise, you can't be hysterical, cry and friends, second, don't let Edward know, if I tell you? Deal?"

Edna was astonished by the conditions Obed had put forward.

"Apaan, anyway, Brother ... Many conditions? Tell me, why?" edna said objection.

"Promise or nothing!" firmly Obed.

"Yes .. yes, I promise" Edna said according to.

"I'm sure you'll be surprised."

"Say now, Brother? Who???" ask Edna impatiently.

"Dayona." replied Obed slowly.

Edna's heart stopped beating. Shock. Of the many names, why the name Dayona? Why not another name?

Surprised, Edna could not react. He can only hide.

"Na? You all right?" asked Obed panicked when he saw Edna who was just silent. Obed is calmer when Edna is crying or hysterical. That's more natural.

To Edna, the world seemed to collapse. The feeling of love that still remains, suddenly disappears. There was a sense of emptiness, leaving a gaping hole.

"Edna, it's okay, sister." replied Edna shrivelled.

"Son, tell you this, so you know what kind of man you like, Na. He's not as good as you think."

Edna turned her eyes the other way. Hope his tears won't spill in front of Obed. Today, the day he will never forget, as the day he ended all the flavors that ever existed.

Edward stirred his coffee while listening to Hero present the opening of the Coffee Shop Gamaro branch venue. The two of them took place for a meeting today, on the side of the outdoor area of Cofee Shop. Occasionally Edward seemed to respond and then they both returned solemnly staring at the laptop screen.

Kavana watched them from the cashier's desk. Incidentally, his position, right facing where the two men were meeting. From his place, he could see Edward. His handsome face, looks more visible, while being serious like that. Edward's face was so alluring that Kavana's eyes were reluctant to turn elsewhere.

"That's really good-looking, They are, '" Gweni quipped in amazement.

Kavana smiles.

"Edward is perfect" he said unknowingly.

"Va, relax! You have Dayona?" gweni's clap on her shoulder, made her realize that she had been speechless.

Kavana's face is warming up.

"Just admire, Gwen." elak Kavana.

Gweni's rant was like sticking it up. That's right Gweni said. Very lucky, the girl Edward was dating. He's the only one who doesn't know it's lucky. Leaving a guy like Edward.

As if knowing is being noticed. Suddenly, Edward turned to them. The eyes of Kavana and Edward meet. Those sharp eyes, pierced Kavana's heart. A gaze that seemed to disarm itself, which revealed the many mistakes it had done to the owner of the eye.

Edward first let go of his sight. That's when Kavana saw the wave of Hero's hand calling out to her.

"Call me that Hero, Va." said Gweni.

"Yes, I also see, Gwen ... I'll go there first, yeah!" his farewell as he passed towards where Hero and Edward were.

"Yes, Mas" said Kavana while already in front of the Hero.

"Make us food, will you? What do you want, Ed?" Hero gives Edward a menu list.

Edward seemed to be flipping through the menu in his hands. Kavana waits with the notebook in her hand.

"Sandwich" replied Edward briefly while returning the menu book to Hero.

"I'm Pasta huh, Va! Oh, yeah, the eggs are gonna be ripe or half-cooked, Ed?"

"Rose" replied Edward and Kavana simultaneously.

Hero was amazed by that coincidence.

"Wiiih, as you say" Hero's response.

"Sorry .." said Kavana while looking at Edward. Embarrassed. How could it be, it was he who answered the Hero's question. He saw, Edward's face flat without responding to the words of the Hero. Mercifully.

"Yes that's it, Va ... Same as mineral water 2!" said Hero.

Kavana nodded and immediately passed from there. While hoping, hopefully they don't see her reddened face.

"What is your relationship with Kavana?" ask Hero just after Kavana left.

"There's nothing." replied Edward flatly.

"From her gaze at you, since just now, anyway!, shows you something more than just nothing, Ed" the hero's tease.

"Since when have you been restless?!!" hardik Edward.

"See very, Boss!" gelak Heroes.

Edward just grunted.

"You're also the one who recommended him to work here, insisted on keeping him despite his poor performance, then the incident with Edna the other day, how not to make me question mark, Ed?" add Hero.

Edward was always reluctant, talking about his personal problems with others. The only person he now trusted, was only Obed.

"Should I answer, Ro?"

"It doesn't have to, anyway ... Just because ..."

"He's my ex" Edward cut quickly, not wanting to hear Hero's long words again.

Hero mangut-mangut understand.

"Then?" ask Hero for more explanation.

"Nothing past, Ro, that's right it's all gone." said Edward.

Kavana could hear all their talk, from behind the gypsum bulkhead near where they were talking. It turned out that for Edward, their story was over. But Kavana's heart was still filled with question marks.

"If that's true, why would Edward still want to do so much for himself, even for his mother?" kavana said in her heart.

Kavana doesn't understand. He thought, that everything Edward did was because of a lingering sense of connection between the two. Either that, Kavana's mind or her hope. So, Kavana still hopes, Edward's heart is still there for her?
