Chapter 45

The sound of a closed door made Emily stare with her eyes round to Leon.

"I say for the last time, stop acting silly like this." Emily struggled to escape the muscular man before her. Emily was still annoyed at Leon, though the whisper made her shudder and think about the man for a moment.

"Come on Emily, it's been a few days since then. Okay I was wrong, I'm sorry."

"Don't expect me to forgive you" said Emily right in front of Leon. The stubborn woman took the chance to miss as Leon loosened his arms.

After escaping from the clutches of her husband's mischievous behavior Emily stepped down to a small garden in the front yard of the Mansion.

He was always there when his heart was broken or feeling lonely. However, this time it seemed like he needed some fresh air. His breath was almost gone because of that shitty guy. Several times he took a deep breath and took it back out.

"really... He really made me barely breathe anymore."

"He who?"

Suddenly the heavy voice sounded so close behind him.

"Oh God!" Emily was startled and turned around instantly until her head hit the large hanging orchid flower pot. The girl again grimaced because it felt so painful on the part of her head. And most insanely, it happened in front of her own husband.

"Can't you see?" Leon immediately pulls back Emily's body to get away from the big pot so as not to get hit again.

"It's because you surprised me" Emily replied in annoyance. He rubbed his forehead which might have been injured.

"Let me see your forehead." The man with the pitch-black bead was painting the affected part of the big pot earlier. "Thankfully not hurt. Just a little bruising here." He gently blew his bruise over the painted white skin so as not to hurt the core.

Emily squeezed her fingers. He had no chance to escape. Because now Leon really makes him tense. The man always does what he wants without asking permission.

"Shush."

"What did he do." Emily muttered softly, confused by Leon's sudden sweetness.

Leon pinched the woman's slender cheeks. "What are you muttering."

"Oh God!" Both of Emily's eyes opened wide again, wondering what Leon's attitude had changed so much towards her. Because of her treatment, Emily felt a little uncomfortable.

"Don't tell me this is part of your plan to get my apology" Emily said. All of a sudden he thought that Leon just wanted to apologize to him. If not, maybe he would be this gentle.

"Why do you even think that."

"Because a Leon doesn't usually get dizzy with the daily lives of ordinary people like me. So if he suddenly acts like this, it will certainly make others feel a little surprised."

Leon exhaled while looking at Emily who was looking at him so coldly. Right his father said. This woman who became his wife was truly a strong woman.

"alright. I'm really sorry I did that to you, but there's a reason Emily. If you knew what the reason was for me to do all that, you'd forgive me without being this angry with me."

"really?"

"Of course."
