Reihand's Anxiety

Meanwhile in the shophouse of chicken noodles.

Rain still faithfully accompanies the earth in the darkness of night. Reihand stared at the road in front of him closely.

"Damn! why didn't a single vehicle pass!" meaning annoyed. He turned to look at Flo who was lying stiff in his arms.

Flo was still conscious but her body was trembling violently, could Rei feel that the hand had started to change in temperature to icy cold, the hand gripped tightly to his shirt in order to slightly reduce the body shock due to the extreme cold he was experiencing.

"Flo, please stay sober yes," Reihand whispered softly in the girl's ear, patting Flo's cheek softly.

"Rei.it's cold!"

"Yes, Flo. Hence the hug was tight, yes," Reihand's pinta with an anxious face, her hands outstretched hugging Flo's body deeper.

Flo nodded, his brain unable to think what else, as he quickly lay in the room with a thick blanket and a cup of his favorite ginger tea.

For almost half an hour they were trapped there, in the shophouse of chicken noodles, there was no lighting at all except the spotlight from the lights of the street billboards, it was also quite far from where they were sheltering.

Reihand raised his head many times towards the street. Expect to see at least one vehicle passing by for help.

If Flo was in good health, if he was not cold like this, even though the rain still continued to fall heavily, maybe Reihand would still break through it and deliver the girl quickly home.

But the circumstances are different, Flo's body is weak, if he forces then the worst possibility could happen.

Reihand turned his head to the end of the road as the ears caught the sound of the roar of the approaching car engine. Immediately he lifted Flo's body and stepped onto the edge of the shophouse to approach the shoulder of the road.

"PLEASE, YOU NEED HELP!" he shouted loudly, car lights panned from a distance. Getting closer and closer.

Fortunately the driver saw Reihand with his panicked face, in the car glass the young man was seen holding a woman, his facial expression was like trying to ask for help. The driver was interested and eventually decided to pull the car over.

The car stopped right in front of Reihand, the driver did not turn off the engine, he rushed out through the heavy rain.

"What's up, son?" a man in his 50s looked at Reihand and Flo with an anxious face. His gray shirt was wet with rain, but once he reached Reihand's place he didn't even care about his soaking wet condition anymore, his pair of eyes were eager to look at Flo's condition, and he looked back at her, the girl looked pale like a piece of tissue.

"He's sick sir, please take me to the nearest hospital, my phone is dead, I can't ask who's help!" reihand said with pleading eyes.

"Here you go, get in my car, let me drive you to the nearest hospital!" without waiting for more time, the old man ran towards his car and opened the passenger's back door to Reihand.

"Come on, get in!"

Reihand nodded, he covered Flo's head with his jacket. Reihand ran towards the car and heartily put Flo's body first, then after that he entered the car through the other side of the door.

After getting into the car Reihand raised Flo's head and placed it on his thighs which he made as a pillow pedestal.

"Flo, hang on, yes" Again Reihand whispered in Flo's ear.

"Hem" Flo nodded, his eyes closed but his ears could still clearly hear every sentence Reihand spoke.

The car also drove quickly split the deserted road.

Ten minutes to reach the nearest hospital, the heavy rain changed to a spoiled drizzle.

The car stopped right in front of hospital X. A security guard came and opened the door. Reihand went straight out and carried Flo's body into the hospital.

"Sir, come with me to IGD!" a female nurse approached Reihand. Reihand followed the nurse's steps to the end of the hall.

"Please put the patient in this bed after that sir please wait in front ya." ask the nurse when they have arrived in the IGD room.

Reihand nodded slowly, Flo still clasping her hands, her eyes opened slightly barely narrow, she looked at Reihand with her pale face.

"Rei.. Where are you going?" flo asked, his voice barely audible.

"Flo, I'm waiting outside, right? I promise I won't go anywhere." said Reihand gently as he rubbed Flo's still wet hair.

The IGD door was closed, Reihand walked stiffly and leaned his head against the wall. He was worried about Flo.

"Son!!"

Reihand turned his head when he heard the roar of footsteps approaching, he was surprised to find the old man who delivered it was caught in a goopoh running towards him, Reihand saw the man coming with his backpack.

"Sir, thank you so much for bringing us here." Reihand approached the old man.

"Same son, this is the bag you missed in my car, how is he doing?" the old man asked, Reihand knew what 'he' meant Flo.

Reihand took the bag from the man's hand.

"My friend is being examined inside the pack, sir I don't know how else to thank you, you saved us earlier." Reihand said sincerely as he looked at the old man, the old man simply nodded with a warm smile.

Reihand opened his backpack, looking for his wallet, he really wanted to thank by giving something to the father.

Had this guy not pulled the car over, I don't know what would have happened to Flo.

"Sir, please accept this.." Reihand handed over a few hundred thousand pieces of money and clenched them into the old man's hands for the man to accept, but the man hurriedly refused and raised both his hands high.

"No boy, no! I help you sincerely do not expect anything, you and the child was the same age as the father, if the father is also in your position, I hope there are others who will help him, he said, let's just say that you're saving kindness for your own son." said the man as he patted Reihand's shoulder slowly, his face smiling warmly at Reihand.

Reihand froze, if he had a father, it would have felt like this. This old man did good but even the kindness he did this he hoped God would be repaid for his son alone, was amazing.

Unfortunately Reihand's parents have divorced, a father figure gone from his life since he was a teenager.

"Son, I go first yes, I still have important business. You okay what am I staying?" ask the man who is constantly breaking Reihand's daydreams.

"What's wrong sir, thank you very much."

The man finally left after feeling Reihand and Flo had been in a safe place.

Before long the door of the IGD room opened, a nurse opened the door, the doctor was seen coming out of it.

"Sus, how's my friend doing?" reihand asked as he ran over.

"It's a good thing you brought him here quickly, he had mild hypothermia, his condition has been treated well, you don't have to worry" the doctor said with a smile to Reihand.

Reihand let out a long sigh, relief now appearing on his face that had been heavy overcast earlier.
