CHAPTER 15: SLEEPING TOGETHER

Sunlight gushed in through the curtain slit. The light touching the skin gives a warm feeling. Clarisa blinked opening her eyes slowly adjusting to the sunlight in the morning. Something heavy he felt in his stomach. A firm hand hugged him tightly. Clarisa looked at the person sleeping next to her while hugging her. His heart is pounding. She stared at the peaceful, calm and handsome face of her husband. His heart's getting faster. Both her beautiful eyes were fixed on her husband's face. He smiled thinly.

 

He touched Cristian's face. “She is very handsome while fast asleep like this.”

“No.. Conscious Clarisa! You can't admire him.” Clarisa tried to revive herself a few seconds ago to admire the perfect creature in front of her. She tries not to fall in love with the man who hugs her. Once again he tried to realize that his marriage was only a contract marriage that could end at any time.

 

Clarisa tried to let go of Cristian's hand that was holding her slowly so as not to wake her up. However, his efforts were in vain. “You're up?” Cristian said in a typical voice of people just waking up.

 

“What are you doing?” Clarisa got out of bed with her surprised face. He did not think they would sleep together.

“I'm sorry, I just don't want dad and the others to be suspicious if we sleep in a different room.” Say it with a smile. Trying to cover up the thumping feeling in his heart.

“You can sleep on the sofa.” Clarisa looked at the annoyed face of Cristian who looked completely innocent.

“Is there anything wrong if husband and wife sleep together.nothing is wrong right?”

“Aisshhhh... sucks once.” He said with an annoyed face.

“Haven't been so upset, I promise I won't touch you, I just don't want the others to be suspicious if they find us sleeping apart, you calm down I won't mess with you, you can trust and hold my word.”

“Alright, I keep your promise, I believe you're a good man Mr. Cris.” Clarisa stretched out her little finger telling Cristian to do the same with her.

“Planning.”

“I promise.” The two little fingers they are adrift to each other as a sign they have promised.

Cristian and Clarisa are ready. Today Cristian will go to the office together with Mr. Mahendra and also Gery. From today he will work as CEO in his father's company. Meanwhile, Clarisa is going to go shopping for some of the items she needs along with Sarah.

Cristian and Clarisa walked downstairs hand-in-hand downstairs to have breakfast with the others.

At the dining table there are Mr. Mahendra, Maharani, Adnan and Jane.

“Good morning, Son, you have breakfast with us.”

“Good dad.”

Cristian sat down next to his father and they had a quiet breakfast.

Jane looked at Clarisa with a look of dislike. He still does not accept if Clarisa will be the favorite daughter-in-law of Mr. Mahendra.

“I will start taking my revenge on you Jane and after that my father, stepmother and Jenny. Be prepared you all will get a reply worth.” Clarisa's inner smile thinly stared at Jane.

“Honey, I'll go to work, take good care of yourself. hemm.” Cristian kissed the head of his wife in front of everyone at the dinner table.

Jane and Adnan stared dislikefully at the sight before him. While Mahendra stared happily because his son had found the woman he loved.

After breakfast, Cristian leaves with Gery and Mahendra. Adnan will follow later after delivering Jane to the set.

Jane has already started filming big screen movies and has also starred in several product advertisements. After the movie ends, she will soon marry her boyfriend Adnan Mahendra.

Clarisa is going to the shopping mall with Sarah.

“You want where.” Ask Maharani who is sitting on the sofa with Jane.

“I'll be out, I don't have to ask permission with mom right?” Ask Clarisa.

“Who let you out of this house, you must help the servant do the work in this house, you must know your position is no more than your servant, don't act like you're the mistress of this house.” Maharani looked down on Clarisa. His words sounded condescending and insulting to his daughter-in-law.

“You better shut up and take care of that, you're nothing more than a waitress, don't act like you.” Snapped Jane to Sarah.

Jane and Maharani are so compact when it comes to insulting and demeaning someone.

“DIAM, you think you're who huh, you're not even a nobody in this house, you should know yourself.” Clarisa stared intently at Jane. Jane doesn't want to lose either. He wants to pull Clarisa's hair but, Maharani stops Jane's actions. Jane's face turned red and looked hatefully at Clarisa.

“Oh yes ma'am, I am the wife of Cristian Mahendra son of mother, I am not a servant in this house, I just want to remind mother about my position in this house, I excuse mother-in-law, I'm sorry, have a great day.” Clarisa passed by leaving two devious women who were looking resentfully at her.

“The woman really does not know herself, I will get you kicked out of this house immediately.” Maharani.

Jane and Maharani stare at Clarisa who has disappeared behind the door. Hands to two firmly clenched.

Meanwhile, the Alvaro mansion is in chaos. Alvaro looks upset because his plan to master Almira's treasure has to run into trouble. He just got back from his lawyer's place. He wanted to reverse the name of all Clarisa's assets in her name and of course it wasn't young. He had to wait up to a month because Clarisa's disappearance was still being investigated by police.

“The only way we can get all those treasures on my behalf, we have to hand over the letter that Clarisa signed, the transitional letter of the treasure on my behalf” Alvaro said.

 

“Are you sure Almira's lawyer won't suspect and report this to the police, I don't think it's time we hand over the letter, wait until the time is right, we will still control the entire treasure of the child, Is not the child dead.” Sandra's Proposal.

“We can wait a month after everything improves and the police will also not find Clarisa.”'s body

“You are right, this plan is too dangerous, I will wait until one month, meanwhile, I will move the company assets on my behalf slowly.” Alvaro agreed with his wife's suggestion.
