CHAPTER 10 _ Fighting Fear
Sasha entered the labyrinth door after seeing Zen who had already teleported to the meadow.
While entering the labyrinth, Sasha saw three labyrinthine paths. Sasha chose the first path for the beginning of her journey.
Although this labyrinth does not contain wild animals, but in certain parts there will be different feelings.
The path that Sasha entered right now was a path of tranquility, where the moment a person entered this path his soul would be calm and peaceful.
But this calmness did not last long, just a few minutes as it crossed the path.
“Guin, do you feel this calm” asked Sasha
“Yes, it looks like we are getting into the path of tranquility” Guin replied
Historically, the labyrinth was a complex system of pathways with the aim of misleading the people through it . In addition to complicated, the labyrinth generally has various traps that are not known where and also when the trap will appear.
In Greek mythology, a huge bull-headed monster called a Minotaur was locked up in a labyrinth to keep it from coming out forever.
“Guin, have you ever entered a labyrinth” asked Sasha as she continued walking
“Never before, this is the first time I entered the labyrinth” Guin replied
“Have this path no end, why from earlier I did not turn, this path is only straight” thought Sasha while walking
“SASHA AWAS” shouted Guin
“There's what Guin” asked Sasha to panic
“Look in front, it was a sucker mud” Guin said pointing towards the mud that was in front of them
“Abviously, usually this mud is near the swamp, did this place used to be swamp” thought Sasha
“Then how can we get through this mud” said Sasha thinking of a solution
“If not wrong, this sucker mud has a hard part, if we can find it we can make it as a footing” said Guin
“Alright, I will use my sword to check the mud” Sasha said
After Sasha examined the mud, Sasha found the hard part but if standing there for too long it would still be sucked into the mud.
Sasha passed through this mud slowly while looking for a point that can be made a foothold. After half an hour, Sasha was finally able to pass through the sucking mud that was in the labyrinthine path.
Sasha finds two paths that lead to the right and to the left, because Sasha thinks that if the right leads to goodness, then Sasha decides to choose the right.
Unexpectedly, this path is very dark and there are also many large roots on the labyrinth floor, one step Sasha could have been injured because of sprained and will hinder the time to get to the grassland.
“How is this Guin, I really can't see” said Sasha who walked while fingering the labyrinth wall
“Sasha, look at your necklace, he lit” Guin said
“Do I have to go back, but I'm still on a mission, my necklace shouldn't be lit.” thought Sasha
“Unless you can use that light as a flashlight” Guin said
“True also” says Sasha
Sasha also uses the light from the necklace as a flashlight, besides that Sasha can also make the light brighter by speaking inwardly.
“Finally get past this hurdle” Sasha said

After walking far enough, Sasha again felt something strange. Sasha felt a deep sense of sadness as she crossed this path.
“Guin, why do I feel so sad, my tears are also dripping, what happened” Sasha said as she wiped her tears
“This is a path of sorrow, if I am not mistaken, this feeling is a collection of the sorrows of people in the world who mourn their sins, and when there is someone who crosses this path, that person will feel a very deep sadness, it's only natural if you shed tears” explained Guin
“Is there any effect to the person crossing this path” asked Sasha
“Yes, this feeling of sadness will make the passing person become dissolved in such deep sadness and can make the person speechless even faint” replied Guin
“Then it has to be fast through this path” Sasha said as she ran
“It is not necessary to run Sasha, you have twice defeated the power of illusion, this test should not be a problem for you” Guin said calming Sasha
Sasha still continues her journey through each path in the labyrinth.
Various obstacles Sasha encounters to test her courage.
On the way, Sasha saw a statue of a horse surrounded by water.
“See the statue of the white horse Guin, beautiful once” Sasha said towards the statue
“Be careful Sasha, in the labyrinth there is almost no good” Guin said giving a warning
“What is this illusion” asked Sasha
“It seems not, this is real” replied Guin
They also headed for the horse statue, but Sasha did not dare to touch the water or the horse statue itself. Given Guin's words that there is nothing good in a labyrinth, it means that there are only traps in each lane.
“Any, why this statue can be in the middle of a path like this, and in front of it also a dead end. Looks like it should go back to taking another path” Sasha said inwardly
“What we have to go back Guin, in front of it dead end” said Sasha
“No, I feel there is a secret hidden in this path” said Guin looking around
“What a secret, I don't understand” Sasha said
While thinking of a way, Oly suddenly flew over the wall beside the pool of water. And accidentally dropped pebbles from the top of the wall into the pool.
Sasha was shocked by the eyes of the horse statue that appeared golden light as Oly dropped the pebble from the top of the wall.
The curious Sasha tried to touch the pool water using the tip of Sasha's sword, and it turned out that the horse statue's eyes lit up as the water in the pond moved.
“Guin, it looks like this pool water is the secret, how about if I make waves with my sword” Sasha said as she watched the horse statue before her
The curious Sasha immediately tried what he was thinking. Sasha swung her sword to make waves at the pool of water surrounding the statue.
As the pool water was already surging, the light that was seen from the horse statue was emitting a golden light towards the floor in the path.
“Sasha look, the light is like showing something on the floor” said Guin who was behind Sasha
“True, maybe we can know the meaning after this floor in touch” said Sasha
Sasha touched the floor with her right hand. And the previously unthinkable thing now happened in front of Sasha.
The pool water suddenly receded, and the statue of the horse spun facing a dead end in front of Sasha.
The sturdy labyrinth wall slowly opened. From a distance Sasha saw a stretch of grassland that was so green and a small purple light that flickered in the middle of the meadow.
“Then let's go there” take Guin
Sasha ran towards the end of this labyrinth. After exiting the labyrinth, Sasha was astonished to see the extremely beautiful scenery that was in front of her.
“Waaawwww.. I've never seen a scene as good as this” Sasha said without blinking
Seen a stretch of grassland that is so green and wide with large trees as if to be a protective wall of this vast expanse of grassland.
“Sasha” shouts Zen from a distance
“Uncle Zen” says Sasha waving her hand
Zen approached Sasha who was watching something in the middle of the meadow.
“Uncle, what is the light from the lantern of the courage of the night level” asked Sasha
“Iya, that's the lantern, let's go there” Zen replied
They also walked towards the lantern in the middle of the meadow.
“You can pass through the labyrinth quite quickly Sasha” said Zen
“True, maybe I'm just lucky Uncle” replied Sasha
“No, the real rule of this labyrinth is who has a strong determination and courage will easily pass through every trap, he said, and will find a shortcut to open the door to meadow” explained Zen
“Looks like I did find that shortcut, I found a statue of a white horse in a dead end, not expecting the dead end to open a door to meadow” said Sasha
After walking a long way Sasha and Zen arrived in front of a night level bravery lantern. There was a bright purple light coming from the lantern. The shape and material of these lanterns are the same as the day-level lanterns of valor.
Sasha took the lantern carefully
“I've got this lantern Uncle, next how” asked Sasha
“Next we go to the place of the lantern of fire-level courage, for this place I can not explain it, I have not been able to complete this level” explained Zen
“Alright Uncle, I will try to reach that level, where the place is uncle” asked Sasha who was very excited
“That place is in the east of Gunma kingdom, quite a distance away, we should first go back home to rest” said Zen
They returned to the labyrinth to get out of the grassland zone.
After leaving, they return to Gunma to rest and return to continue the mission that Sasha is on.

Arriving at Gunma they plan a journey to the next level of courage.
“Explain a little about where the fire level bravery lantern we will go Uncle” said Sasha as she prepared the supplies
“This place is in a dark cave, according to the story I got, This cave is very deep and there is an eternal fire in it, he said, this fire will not be extinguished even if exposed to rain” explained Zen
“What is the danger of a beast in the Cave it” asked Sasha
“I didn't find it when I came in, but there is a very painful force inside Gua” Zen replied
“Whatever power it is I should be able to get through that place” said the feisty Sasha
That morning they began the journey to the Cave which was to the east of the kingdom of Gunma.
The distance is indeed very far, about 100km from where they are currently. On the way they pass through many obstacles that are quite dangerous, such as hollow forest gaps, when falling on this gorge is already sure to die. In addition there are also those who have to pass through the fire ant area in a forest, they pass through this area must be slowly, slowly, if they made a sudden movement the fire ants would attack them and would also eat them until the bones were left. In this area they see many bones of humans and animals that are mossy.
“This place is so scary Uncle, whether these bones are the result of fire ant attack” asked Sasha
“True, this is a fire ant. Something small is nothing against a big one, but if something small joins it will create great power
After passing through the fire ant area they finally arrived in front of the mouth of the Cave in question.
It looks like a cave formed by large rocks covered with hanging roots in the mouth of the cave.
This cave seems never touched by humans because there is no sign of trace of humans coming.
“What can I get in now Uncle” asked Sasha
“Back check your gear before logging in, make sure nothing is left” Zen warned Sasha
After he finished checking the equipment, Sasha turned on a torch as lighting during his stay in the Cave. Sasha began to enter the dark cave.
“Here is really dark, fortunately I remember to bring torch” said Sasha
“Are you ready” asked Sasha who was looking forward
“Me and Oly are always ready to accompany you Sasha” Guin said
Sasha started to go into the cave. While inside Sasha Cave felt a very quiet and humid atmosphere.
The deeper Sasha entered the Cave, the more Sasha felt her breath getting congested.
“What this means is pressure, it is more similar to oxygen depleting’ said Sasha
“True, I don't feel any strange power here, this is indeed the result of oxygen depleting” Guin said
Because of Sasha's strong determination, this did not discourage Sasha to find a lantern of fire-level courage in this cave.
The further Sasha walked into the cave, the more she felt that her oxygen was completely depleted. Sasha almost lost consciousness.
“Guin, is this the end, I can't quite” said Sasha who crawled on the cave floor
“Don't give up Sasha, I feel up ahead there is not the same as this” Guin said helping Sasha step up
Since Guin and Oly were spirits, they were not exposed to the effects that Sasha was experiencing in the Cave.
Sasha went in and found a waterfall in the cave. This waterfall is not too high, only about 10 meters, but the water is quite heavy.
Sasha felt where she was right now her oxygen was back to normal.

“But where we go next, there is no way anymore, I have to go where” Sasha said as she looked in all directions
Sasha walked around to find the path she had to take, but Sasha only saw the cave wall that had no blemish.
“There is no way here, if Uncle Zen is not wrong to provide information”, Sasha complained
“It doesn't seem like Sasha, I feel like there's room behind this waterfall, but I'm not sure” either Guin said as she looked at the waterfall
“Alright, since there is no other way, I will try to break through this waterfall” Sasha said with an annoyed facial expression.
