RETURN: We Are Not Friends

"Alright, Brother! Don't interfere too much with my problems with others, because you have no right to interfere in my personal matters." Dusk stared at the sad face of the man sitting with his head lowered on the left seat where Dusk lay.

The man since entering the room continued to be silent unwilling to speak even if only one word was broken. Do not be surprised Dusk can know from where until Dusk can say so to the man, because Dusk knows all from the mouth of his own brother.

"Don't keep thinking about other people's problems if you have a lot of problems." Dusk smiled sincerely, he rubbed the back of the man's hand gently, making the man beside him instantly look at himself with a gaze with many meanings in it.

"Do you still hate me because I left you first?" asked the man with a sad face, a wistful look, a slow lacklustre body movement, and Dusk was extremely dislikeful of all of that.

"I never hated you." Dusk stopped the hand rubbing on the man, now he grabbed the hand and held it tightly.

"I've always missed you, brother. Hoping that one day Big Brother will return to explain everything because Big Brother left me first. However, now that Big Brother is back, I already don't need that explanation because I know it wasn't intentional." Dusk shedding his tears, he stared into the eyes of the man he always longed for every second and minute he went through in his life.

The love of Dusk may have moved on to someone else, a new person who captured his heart in a good way. However, a close feeling in the past would be impossible for him to forget just because of the presence of a new person within him.

It is not bad, because it would be very selfish if we always attach importance to new people and forget about old people. There will be no past if we never go through it for us to remember in the future, right?

"In a few days, I'll be resigning from the University where you went to. I will also leave this country to avoid you and your fiancee. I still have guilt for making your fiancee misunderstand our relationship because of our past." The man pulled his hand forward slowly but slightly forced Dusk to release it.

"Sister Faris, don't go, I beg you!" Dusk shed his tears that were no longer able for him to weir. He would never want to be away from Faris again in any other sense, not wanting to be left behind because of his inner feelings.

"I'm not leaving, I just want to find happiness and freedom for myself, because honestly, I'm still not ready to face the most painful reality of my life without you." Faris even now spoke formally.

"Don't go, Brother. You said you'd avoid me, right? Why?" Dusk woke up from his position that was originally lying down to sit down, not caring about his head being injured because the pain had disappeared since Faris' arrival.

The twilight hand slowly regained its grasp on Faris' hand and grasped it tightly. "Do you want to make myself as broken as I used to be by doing the same thing?" Dusk said in a trembling tone hinting at a deep wound in his heart.

"I didn't mean to hurt you." Faris sat on the edge of the bed and pulled the body of Dusk into his arms.

"I used to send a letter to you before I left, but it turns out that the letter I wrote and sent never arrived for you." Although, Dusk had said he did not want to know anymore because Faris left first, but Faris decided to keep telling Dusk.

"Sister Faris, when you go first. All my best friends also left me." Dusk rests his head on Faris' chest, not caring about others who would consider Dusk to forget Anggi just like that after his old love returns, because the love of Dusk now already belongs to Anggi and Faris he has considered as his own brother since the head of Dusk was injured because Anggi pushed himself last day.

"Why did they leave you, hem?" Faris rubbed Dusk's shoulders with a feeling he could not describe through words, as all the flavors mixed into one in his heart.

"God loves them more than me." The twilight cry again broke considering his best friend who had abandoned him for all eternity.

Ami, Fiza and Andi. Three people who were close to him first had to die because of God's predetermined destiny. Dusk will never forget them because they will always be in the heart of Dusk, in a space called friends.

"Yes." Yeah." Dusk hugged Faris tightly, he buried his face in the chest of the field until making the clothes worn by Faris wet because of his tears.

"Don't cry, they'll be sad to see you cry for them!" Faris kissed the head of Dusk with a feeling that was equally broken and happy.

"Promise, Brother!" pinta Dusk looked up to look at Faris' face from below.

"Promise for what?" Faris lowered her head so that their noses accidentally touched each other.

The same heartbeats, never changed since long ago are still the same they feel. No one shied away from what was happening now, both of them could only silently feel a breath that changed to hit the pores of their facial skin.

Dusk fused his forehead so that it stuck to Faris' forehead. "Please promise not to leave me!" twilight said until the hot air from his mouth could be felt clearly by Faris.

"Please promise me one thing first! Once you promise, then I will also promise not to leave you." Faris is already using more familiar language, she will take this opportunity to mend the relationship between herself, Dusk, and him (Fig).

"What should I promise?" tanya Dusk still with holding in the same position.

"Marry Anggi!" pinta Faris with tears dripping down and fell down softly on the cheeks of Dusk.

"Sister Faris, why are you crying?" Dusk turned their talk, for to marry a man who no longer expected him would be painful.

"Don't try to divert my conversation!" faris firmly rules.

"Sister Faris, I-I"

"Please promise me you will marry Anggi and be happy with her. Promise me our friendship!" Faris spoke in a slightly pressing tone as she knew most likely Anggi still loved Dusk and would resume their relationship.

"We're not friends. I will not marry her, brother, for she loves me no more. He broke off my engagement to her. I'll never make her fall into the abyss of compulsion to marry a woman she doesn't love." The twilight screamed so heartbreakingly, he sobbed so loudly in Faris' arms right now.

Without them noticing, someone had heard everything they had said since just now. In fact, her tears also dripped after hearing everything.
