Retaliation Queensany

Retaliation Queensany
Chapter 49.

"Alhamdulillah, we have arrived son" said Yekka as she opened the door of her small house which was the most comfortable place for her at that time.

A place that will always be the best place for her up to any time.

The property and government repeatedly persuaded Yekka to occupy the old castle of Albert and Mastany.

The government hoped the ancient castle would not be abandoned and destroyed in spite of the horrific events that occurred there later that year.

The government hopes that Adam as the last heir can revive the glory of the ancient castle when he has grown up.

But for that time, the government appointed Yekka as the temporary owner until Adam came of age.

"La!, Adam will never inherit the cursed castle!," Sentak Yekka did not accept when government officials came to persuade him.

"But legally, he is the rightful descendant and heir of lord Albert and mistress Mastany," exclaimed one officer still trying to persuade Yekka.

"You must have known, no, the biological father of Adam!, why are you still hiding in the name of the law!, it is only for your benefit!, you do not want the ancient assets of this city destroyed and dim the glory of this city is not it!," yekka jolted up the pitan, because he felt everyone had never appreciated his opinions and desires all along.

"Alright, we'll make one more offer for you. Sir and Adam will be sure they won't deal with the castle again if you're willing to sell it to us as a representative of Adam, how?," said an officer whose offer kept ringing in Yekka's ears until they had left from Yekka's presence.

Slowly Yekka walked into the house and tried to put Adam to bed.

"Sleep well, these few days are so tiring for us, son," Yekka complained as she sighed .

All the words and sayings of all the people of the end of this is so ringing in his brain.

Even as he was lying down and had prepared to close his eyes as he was now.

But the guilt that arrived appeared in his mind when he recalled the words of the mistress of the master shortly before he was allowed to go home that day.

He looked closely at the face of Adam who was so similar to the face of Mastany, the woman he had loved so much.

"Parents will be lonely without their child" Yekka told herself.

He could not escape the fact that he had deliberately kept Adam away from Mastany.

"Does she still deserve to be called my mother, son?" Yekka said so worriedly at the time.

At one time, he was so sure that his decision was right.

But now, he feels as evil as Mastany for trying to break the relationship between a mother and her child.

"Did you miss your mother, son?" asked Yekka, holding Adam until he was shut up that night.

...***...

"Mr Yekka?" cried a doctor so astonished at Yekka's arrival that morning to the hospital.

Yekka has not been seen coming to the hospital since Serril died a few months ago.

"Are you still taking care of her?" asked Yekka without further ado.

"Can you take me there?" asked Yekka again, asking a question that did not need an answer.

"She stayed in the same place the last time you saw her, did I still have to drive you?," sahut the doctor was so surprised when he saw the look on the face of Yekka who was confused at that time.

It was as if there were so many burdens on the mind that Yekka was carrying at the time.

"I'll never forget where she is, but if you're not busy can you accompany me to see her doctor?" Yekka said, turning expressionless.

"Well" said the doctor, allowing Yekka to walk to where Mastany was.

...***...

A few moments later.

Yekka's footsteps had stopped right in front of the door of the Mastany treatment room.

Hugging Adam tightly in his arms, Yekka slowly began to walk into the room.

He felt no tears as he reached the room again after months he never set foot there.

"How are you doing, Doc?" asked Yekka, wiping her tears.

Hearing the question from Yekka, the doctor could only sigh deeply while patting Yekka on the back gently.

"We have tried our best, but what else can we say to you?, you can see for yourself the condition," exclaimed the doctor as if he had resigned to the condition of Mastany.

Slowly Yekka began to approach the figure of Mastany who seemed to fall asleep soundly on his bed.

"Assalammualaikum Mastany, how are you?" said Yekka, holding back her tears.

"I'm sorry that I'm only now able to see you, look!, our son is grown up, now his name is no longer Carlos, but Adam, as you once wanted, right?," yekka exclaimed, still ending in tears even though she was so strong that she held back her cries.

"Please sir, Miss Mastany will not be able to answer all your questions, she has not shown any conscious reaction since months ago," said the doctor explained the situation of Mastany who had been without hope.

"Then, what is as good as I do?," asked Yekka so heartless to see Mastany continue to suffer with tools and hoses plugged all over her body.

"Remove his life aids" said the doctor made Yekka so shocked and limp when he heard her.

"Ta-but that's the meaning," cried Yekka could no longer say the word.

"Pity mistress Mastany sir, even her brain has even experienced a pretty serious paralysis, in some cases the same, the sufferer will remain that way until we are willing to take it off," said the doctor made Yekka powerless to hold back her crying again at that time.

Along with that, Yekka cried as she hugged the woman who had become the mother of her child.

His sense of regret grew even greater when he remembered that he had wasted months to be able to care for and keep Mastany all this time.

"You really are useless Yekka!," yekka lamented in between her cries.
