RESURRECTION

RESURRECTION
Chapter 9to13

After school the next day. Masashi changes his school uniform into a casual dress at home, then takes a taxi to Naoko-sensei's house.

A girl he had never seen opened the door. "Sorry, who are you looking for?"

Wrong address? He checked the house number again. "I'm looking for Naoko-sensei."

"Sister? You who?"

So this is his sister. "My name is Hirota Masashi, your brother's student."

"Oh, then come in. She's taking a shower."

A white puppy ran over and looked at him carefully.

The girl took it and said. "Shasha, say hello to nii-san." The puppy really barked.

Masashi smiled bitterly. When did I become a brother with a dog.

"Ai-chan, is there someone at the door?" Naoko-sensei came out in the bathroom shortly afterwards.

"Hi, Naoko-sensei."

"You're here. Can you wait a minute? I'm gonna change." He was surprised to see Masashi.

"Use your time . "

He went back to the room.

"Your name is Hirota Masashi? Are you close to my sister?"

"Perhaps, I'm his student, after all."

"But he has never brought a boy home. You're the first."

"Oh, I see," Masashi did not know how to answer.

Ai looked at him seriously. "But you don't look handsome, and very short. Nee-san will not like people like you. I may think too much."

Masashi has a headache. Why children now know so much at an early age.

"Hey, are you playing around? I bought a new one today. Come here." Come here." Before Masashi could answer, he dragged her to the TV and threw her at the controller.

Masashi did not know whether to laugh or cry and started playing with him.

Hirota Masashi was a gamer. Even though he was dead, his memories were still there. It was rare for Ai to find someone who could play so well.

As they play, Naoko is out. "Masashi, let's go."

She's staring. Light makeup on the face, a light green one piece dress shows her curves, and a pair of stockings on her long legs make her look delicious.

Ai saved the game and shouted. "Nee-san, you're beautiful."

Naoko glanced at Masashi and slightly blushed when she saw him looking with a sense of appreciation.

"Nee-san, where are you going?"

"Have you forgotten? I told you yesterday that I had dinner with someone tonight. It's Masashi. I've called sushi for you. It should be here any minute."

"I don't want sushi. I want to go with you."

"No . "

"Why not?"

"Because .. just don't."

“I want to go,” Ai raised her hand in protest.

"Can you listen?"

"I want to go . "

Naoko looked at Masashi with defeat. He stretched out his hand and said. "I don't mind."

The three of them came to a fancy restaurant. The two beauties caught everyone's attention and the average Masashi looked neglected.

“I don't like these people, keep staring.” Ai was not happy to be staring.

"You should be happy. They don't even bother looking at people like me" said Masashi lazily.

“That's right,” his expression instantly changed.

"Masashi, I heard you have a sister, right?" Naoko asked.

"Yes. Kazumi Hirota's. He doesn't like to talk but his grades are much better than my grades."

"You may feel lonely because your parents aren't home often."

Masashi stop. He never thought about this matter. It didn't matter to him because he had been used to being together all this time. But what about Kazumi? He's just a teenager. Moreover, he might not have many friends to talk to with his reserved personality. Mother is also alone this year, perhaps more lonely than they are. I have to think of a way to reunite the family.

Naoko glanced at Masashi as she thought. This adult expression attracted him.

"Hey, why don't you guys talk?"

"Oh, right. Ai, what do you want to eat?" Naoko surprise.

"Didn't you just order?"

"Ah, sorry. I forgot."

"Sister, you're weird today."

The waiter brought the dishes and Ai immediately started eating.

"Masashi, do you want a glass of wine? The wine here is quite famous."

Masashi smiled at him. "Sensei, are you sure?"

He remembered that he was still a high school student. How could he advise his student to drink alcohol?

Masashi said to the waiter. "Please bring us your two glasses of wine."

"I want it too" said Ai.

"Not for the kids."

"What are you talking about? I was in high school like you." She's upset.

"What's? Aren't you a high school student?" Masashi acted in shock.

“You... terrible,” Ai gritted her teeth.

Naoko said nothing. He looked at Masashi with a complicated feeling when he realized that he was treating him like a man his age or even more mature. The young face made him feel scared.

“Ai, it's you.” A boy was walking while they were eating.

"Oh, this is Yousuke. You're here too" Ai said in surprise.

"Yes, what a coincidence. I think I'm wrong. When did you come here?" He looks very excited.

"Not long."

"I came here with my cousin. Both?" He looked at Naoko and Masashi.

“She's my sister and this is her student, an unpleasant person.” Ai still holds a grudge.

"Ai, that's not polite to you. Hi, Yousuke, I am Ai's sister, Hasebe Naoko. He's Hirota Masashi, my student. Thank you for taking care of Ai," Naoko said with a smile.

“It was too polite for you,” Yousuke blushed as he looked at Naoko.

"Yousuke, would you like to introduce these two beautiful women?" A slender and somewhat handsome man walked over.

"This is Hasabe Ai, my classmate. This is her younger sister, Naoko-san. And this is Naoko-san's student. Hirota Ma .. Ma …"

"Hirota Masashi," Masashi said with a smile.

“True, hirota Masashi,” Yousuke looked at him with gratitude.

"Hello, I am Yousuke's cousin, Hinatsu Junichiro. It's nice to meet you," he said politely but his eyes were on Naoko.

She had been watching this woman ever since she walked into the restaurant. She originally wanted to find an opportunity to meet him but her cousin really knew them. He thought that the gods were by his side.

"Hi, Hinatsu-san," Naoko said.

"Please call me Junichiro. That's what my friends call me," she smiled. He was a bit confident in his charm.

However, Naoko did not react.

"Are you interested in sitting with us? Yousuke will be very happy."

"Hinatsu-san, my student is still here, so I won't bother you."

"Is that so? Then I hope to see you again."

After they left, Ai said. "Nee-san, why don't you go? Yousuke's cousin looks pretty good. And he seems interested in you. I'll go if I'm you."

"I'm not going to stop you from leaving. Your classmates are there too."

"But he invited you."

"Ai-chan, you can't just look at someone's surface."

“You preach again,” Ai bury herself in food.

"Masashi, do you want anything else? Don't hold back."

Masashi shook his head. "No, I'm almost full."

Naoko takes Masashi back to her house and returns home with Ai.

When Masashi walked through Kazumi's room, he was still learning.

— 10 —

He wanted to call ReiLi, but remember he promised Kazumi not to make an international call.

Masashi enters the mall and looks around. He went straight to the cell phone booth.

"Hello, do you want to buy a cell phone? We have many new ones. Please look." The sales are quite enthusiastic.

"Which is better?"

"What phone are you looking for? It is the latest smartphone with 3G, MP3 capabilities, camera, internet, and many other functions. And this one is suitable for active people, you can hang it in the ear."

Seeing that Masashi did not look interested, he took out a few others.

Masashi started to get sleepy. He waved his hand and said. "Okay, stop. My requirements are simple, as long as it can call. Just pick it for me. Also arrange everything. I have to call now."

"You want me to pick one? That's not so …"

"Faster, I'm in a hurry," Masashi began to get impatient.

"Then ... How about this one? Is …"

"Well, this one," Masashi interjected and handed over the credit card.

The salesman's expression changed when he saw the credit card. He knew this was a platinum card from a Tokyo bank. He had not expected this mediocre-looking High School kid to be so rich, and regretted not choosing the most expensive phone.

Masashi did not know the bank gave him this kind of card. He doesn't like to show off like a nouveau.

"Hello who is this?" ReiLi sounded calm.

"Hey, it's me."

"Shishou, didn't expect you to call me so soon. Are you starting to miss me? I told you I should stay with you for a few more days." With the tone of the complaining girl.

Masashi laughing. "Stop that shit. I have something you need to do."

"What's that?" ReiLi became serious.

"Help me find someone. Kyuujirou Nagakawa from Hokkaido. If he was alive, he should be 70 years old by now."

"Is he an enemy?"

"No, a friend. I owe him something. It's time to return it."

"Okay, I'll send people right away."

"Oh, I bought a new phone. Call this number if there's anything."

It's been twenty years. I hope he's alive.

School has returned to normal. News reporters were no longer waiting at the entrance. People seemed to have forgotten Yamamoto after three months. Masashi is like a normal student and goes to school on time. But she either reads the novel in class or sleeps.

One day, he woke up to a loud noise. The students seem excited.

"What's going on?" He asked the girl next to him.

"You didn't hear? We're going to Okinawa for a summer trip."

"When?"

"The day before the summer break begins. It's been three days."

Japanese children have summer and winter holidays and can join this type of trip. But it costs 20,000 yen for each person.

After returning home, Masashi knocked on Kazumi's door.

"What's that?"

he handed her 30,000 yen. "Your class is going to Okinawa too, right? It's for the trip."

"Mom gave it to you?"

"No, it's from my job. Don'worry. Money's clean."

"Did you know?" Kazumi hesitated.

"She doesn't know about me working part-time. I don't have any money anyway. I just want to help with the burden. Promise me, don't tell him, okay?"

He looked at her with a complicated feeling. "OK, but that's too much."

"This rest is your allowance. You're a girl anyway" Masashi smiled and left.

Kazumi looked at his back in a daze.

Two days later, the final score came out. Masashi was in the middle of the rankings as he expected. And Kazumi's upstairs.

— 11 —

The next day, Masashi and Kazumi enter the airport and see the teacher holding a flag like a tour guide.

"Masashi, you're here" Naoko smiled.

“Halo, Naoko-sensei.” This was the first time he had seen her wearing ordinary clothes.

"You're Kazumi? Masashi mentioned you. You have good grades and are very smart."

Kazumi wondered when he was so close to Naoko-sensei.

Students make loud noises during the flight. And some perverted people kept asking the hostess to bring them water.

Naoko also has a problem when the male teachers try to flatter her to tell bad jokes.

While no one noticed, Naoko left her seat and came to the empty seat next to Masashi.

Seeing him sound asleep, he almost wanted to pinch him.

"So many strangers."

"That's black. First time I saw him."

The students fell silent after seeing so many strangers.

The teachers announced that everyone could play by the beach, but had to gather in front of the hotel at 6 p.m.

"Look at the foreign woman. It's huge."

"Boy, that one is big. Like two basketballs."

"Boy pervert," said one girl.

"All men are like this. Right, Kazumi?"

"Oh," Kazumi replied in a daze.

"Kazumi, are you looking for someone?"

"No, just look around."

Where's she? Can't find it anywhere.

Naoko was looking for Masashi at the same time.

After not getting any results from wondering, Naoko started to worry.

"I'll teach him a lesson if I ever see that boy again. How could he ask what insecticide I was using. It makes me angry."

"Why do you bother trying to take a bad boy. There are so many handsome men here."

"It's not a pick up. I was just trying to tease her because she didn't seem to care about anyone."

"Alright, alright. Let's find a good man."

Two girls in bikini clothes walked by.

Naoko's eyes twinkled and walked to where she came from.

He found Masashi sitting on a large rock by the ocean with a bonfire in front of him. Some fish are roasted over the fire.

Naoko calmed down as soon as she saw Masashi.

— 12 —

He flipped to the end but when he was still ten meters away, Masashi turned around.

"Oh, this is Naoko-sensei."

"I didn't think you were hiding here. You made me look everywhere."

"seek me? Is there anything you want?"

"seek me? Is there anything you want?"

"Do I need anything to find you?"

Masashi laughing. "You trying? Just caught this fish and it tastes pretty good, "He handed a fish to a stick.

"Can you really eat it like this?"

“This is the most authentic beach style,” she bites.

"You brought alcohol?" After a few bites, Masashi took out a bottle of spirit.

"How can you eat meat instead of alcohol?"

Chinese Baijiu is like day and night of Japanese sake.

"Where do you get alcohol?"

"Bought it at the hotel. Sensei, you want a glass?"

"It crossed your line. You're still a high school kid. How can you drink? And that's spirit." He forgot about dinner.

Masashi laughing. "High school kids these days are no longer interested in drinking. Do you know how many are active in the red light district? And how many sell compensation dates in Shibuya?"

Tokyo is a very developed city and it is also very easy for one to lose oneself.

"Don't forget about Yamamoto and his friends are also high school students."

Naoko had no words in return. "Not everyone is like this. At least, there are still a lot of good people in the world."

"Give up, enough of this. We should enjoy this amazing view. This isn't school, so just assume you don't see it."

Perhaps due to the alcohol, Masashi had a strange urge when he looked at Naoko. He cursed himself for going out of his mind.

Naoko doesn't stop him anymore and just watches while drinking.

"Sensei, want to try the sea urchin?"

"Eh, okay."

Masashi opened the hedgehog and poured water on it.

"Just like this? Aren't you going to cook it?"

"This is the best way. Try."

Naoko tried it with a bit of hesitation. At first it was somewhat suspicious, then an overwhelming taste filled his mouth.

Masashi smiles. "Want more?"

Naoko nodded lightly.

They both walked to the shallow water area. Masashi taught him to catch fish. Naoko felt like she had returned to her childhood.

After dinner, the students went to the streets in groups.

Masashi has no such habit so he goes back to his room to train. But someone knocked on the door.

"Sensei, what's wrong?"

"Can you take a walk with me?"

"But I'm sleeping" Masashi yawned.

"It's only 7 p.m. How could a young man be so lazy. Hurry up."

"But I'm really sleepy. Can't I go?"

"Well, just let a girl walk the dark streets alone. I heard besides some robberies and murders, the safety in Okinawa is pretty good. Masashi, sleep. I won't blame you if something happens."

"Sensei, can you wait a moment? I need to be replaced," Masashi sighed.

"What are you changing clothes for? You want to sleep?"

"Sensei, I will really sleep if you continue."

Naoko laughed a grin.

Both came to the most crowded street.

"It looks like there's a show ahead. Let's see," Naoko dragged Masashi.

The performers sing and dance in exotic clothes and instruments. The spectators also clapped their hands in rhythm.

Naoko listened a little and could not see what they were singing. "Do you know what they're singing?"

"They sing in their local dialect. I don't understand either."

"Maybe it's uchina pop. I heard it's a traditional Okinawan dance, but this is the first time I've seen it."

"This is uchina pop. The instrument with three strings is a shamisen and the drum is a taiko."

"How do you know this?"

"A friend once told me."

"Your friend from Okinawa?"

"No, he's from Hokkaido, but he likes to travel. So he's seen this show."

Naoko felt that Masashi was looking slightly down when she mentioned this friend.

"Let's go, I'll buy you a cup of coffee."

"You can get coffee anywhere. We should look at the craft shops."

— 13 —

Naoko stroked the doll excitedly after coming out of the store.

"Why don't I see something fun about this?"

"Don't you feel like it looks kawaii? Looks like you too."

"You're kidding. Which part of me looks like that."

"You're kidding. Which part of me looks like that."

"Don't you think your facial expressions are similar? You look like a doll when you're not laughing."

Masashi never knew that dolls had expressions.

Suddenly, a figure ran past them followed by a shout. "The robbery, please .." A fat lady gasped for breath as she ran.

It was just robbery, not taking your meat.

"Masashi, what should we do?" Naoko looked at him nervously.

What does this have to do with me? He sighed as he looked into the woman's eyes and walked into the vending machine.

“Borrow me.” He took a can of unopened soda from a girl in front of the machine, then threw it at the robber.

The dude fell to the ground like****dead without a shout.

"Sensei, let's go," Masashi grabbed Naoko's hand and walked silently.

"But what if that guy had a gun? That woman is in danger."

"He's knocked out."

"Very?"

Masashi nodded. Although it is dark but it is not a problem for the trained. He aimed it at the back of the robber chief and had to drop it for two to three days. The after effects are not the problem.

As he walked past the girl, Masashi threw him a 100 Yen coin.

"For your sod."

The teachers arranged for the students to visit various tourist attractions in Okinawa over the next two days.

Masashi is not interested in walks or aquariums. However, he tends to stand in places like Tamaudun, Shureimon, and Shuri Castle for half a day.

"Masashi, what's wrong? Are you not feeling well?" Naoko had noticed him as she stood up in a daze.

"I'm fine . "

"Why are your hands so cold?" He touched his forehead.

Masashi felt a hint of warmth in his heart.

"I'm totally fine. Thank you, sensei."

"I'll accompany you back to the hotel. You need to rest."

"No, let's go."

Suddenly, they heard a series of barking.

"Sorry, it's my phone" Masashi was a little embarrassed.

Naoko laughs. It was the first time he had seen such an expression from her.

"Is that Hey?"

"Yes, shishou."

"What's that?"

"I found that guy."

Masashi sighed. "Did he die?"

"Yes, Nagakawa Kyuujirou died five years ago, at his home in Hokkaido."

"How did he die?"

"heart attack. We checked the hospital records, nothing suspicious."

"Good people don't live long" Masashi smiled bitterly.

ReiLi knew the weight of old friends on her shishou.

"Did he have a family?"

"Two sons. One is the sheriff and one is the manager in a small business. Two grandchildren and grandchildren are still in school."

"Look if they have any difficulties. Help them if they do. Give me the address later, I need to visit Hokkaido once."

"OK, shishou. Careful."

Masashi stood there quietly after hanging up the phone.

"What's wrong?" Naoko held his hand.

"I'm fine . "

"It's okay if you don't want to say it. I just want you to know someone cares about you."

"Thank you, sensei. Please tell the teachers that I'm going back to the hotel."

"I'll go with you."

"No, it's your first time in Okinawa, you have to have fun" she walked away without waiting for an answer.

Naoko sighed as she stared at her back. "So how can I have fun if you're not here."

The three-day journey ended quickly.

During his return, everyone carried a souvenir bag like a refugee.

Masashi was the only one who left the way he came.

As everyone chatted about their trip, Naoko continued to stare at Masashi. He did not smile after receiving the call.

What the hell happened to him?

Back to school. Naoko found Masashi and slipped a piece of paper into his hand and said in a low voice. "If you need help or someone to talk to, just call me. This is my home number."

Masashi was silent for a moment and only realized that he was worrying about her the whole time.

“Thank you.” He looked at this kind-hearted woman gently.
