S2. Chapter 86

Kinara continued to struggle spoiled to Mich, she continued to attach her body and lean her head on Mich's sturdy arm.

She doesn't care about the looks of the jealous female employees, and she doesn't care about Jeremy's skinning gaze.

"Please enter!" mich said as he opened the car door.

Kinara was seen smiling as sweetly as she could, then she walked in and sat right beside the wheel.

Mich returned Kinara's smile, then she was seen closing the door and she circled the car to get in and sit behind the wheel.

"You want to go straight to Merlin's house or buy something first?" mich asked as he turned on his car engine.

Kinara seemed to think when he got the question from Mich, he would go to someone's house.that means he had to carry a hand, it was impossible not if he came without bringing anything.

"How about we go to the cake shop first? It seems that buying a box of cookies is not a bad thing" Kinara suggested.

"Yes, that's a good idea. Chocolate cake is her favorite cake" Michaya said, smiling as she recalled her older sister.

"I want a cake, too, Om. Cake chocolate too, but given grated cheese," Kinara said.

Mich is seen driving to the cake shop first, after buying two cake towns they finally go to Merlin's house.

Eventually Kinara decided to stare at the streets instead, as if indifferent to Mich. Mich felt grateful because finally Kinara did not ask much more, because the more Kinara asked his heartbeat as if pounding was not bad.

When she arrived at Merlin's house, it turned out that the pregnant woman was sitting with her face bent. Mich hugged Merlin and kissed her cheek, Melin looked surprised even she hit Mich's shoulder directly.

"I guess Max" said Merlin with pursed lips.

"Geez, this brother why the hell? It's not time for Max to come home yet, why would Max go home now?" ask Mich.

Merlin is seen wrapping his left hand around Mich's body, but his right hand keeps hitting his brother's arm.

"So sad, Mich. I wanted chocolate cake, but Max didn't want to buy it. He said there was an operation soon" said Merlin with teary eyes.

Kinara smiled at Merlin who was complaining, then she approached Merlin while keeping the cake on the table.

Then he sat down right beside Merlin and patted Merlin on the back gently, Merlin immediately broke his embrace and looked at Kinara's face.

"Hi, Pretty. Sorry haven't had time to say hello," said Merlin.

"It's okay, Auntie doesn't have to be sad anymore. Because the cake was already there," Kinara said as she pointed out the cake she had stored on the table.

"Alright Brother, sorry," said Kinara who forgot to call Merlin as Aunt.

"It's okay, Beautiful. Oya, Micha. Please move the cake onto the plate," Merlin asked Mich.

"Oh my goodness, how could you tell a handsome man like me," Mich lamented lazily.

"Come on my sister, honey. For the sake of your niece-to-be," said Merlin as he stroked her softly in the stomach.

"Yes, yes!" answer Mich.

Mich is seen waking up and picking up the cake on the table, then she steps into the kitchen where she will move the cake to the plate as she wishes.

After Mich's departure, Kinara thought, maybe it's time to ask Merlin. Who knows Merlin found out about the photo saved by Mich, a photo of him when he was a child.

"Sister, um. I want to ask," Kinara said hesitantly, but she wanted to know.

"Come, what do you want to know?" ask Merlin.

"That, Brother. Anu, has Big Brother ever lived in the homeland?" ask Kinara.

Merlin smiled in response to a question from Kinara, then she gently stroked Kinara's arm and said.

"Yes, we used to live in the country. My mother was originally there, my father was from here. After they got married they decided to stay in the homeland," Merlin was seen pausing his remarks.

He seemed reluctant to tell his past. Kinara was aware of that, but she was still curious.

"Our little family was very happy, until Mom cheated on me because she felt she was too busy with her job. Mom and dad are separated, dad is getting busy with his job. Mich and I became children who were really lacking in affection" Merlin said, smiling wryly.

"Sorry," said Kinara.

"It's okay, you know Kinar. There's one thing that always makes us smile when we're in sadness and loneliness" Merlin said.

"What?" ask Kinara curiously.

"We used to have neighbors, their families looked so harmonious and happy. There was a little girl who was always the center of our attention, even that girl could always make Mich laugh so loosely. That child is just a five-year-old child."

Merlin closed his eyes, as if he was recalling his past with Mich.

"You know Kinar, even then Mich always looked at the boy with a loving look. I even teased him, it's really silly Mich. She was eighteen, but she liked a five-year-old little girl" Merlin said.

Kinara's heart seemed to be beating rapidly after listening to what Merlin said, he did not expect that Mich had liked him for a long time.
