Reincarnationem: The War Kingdom

Chapter 01's

The clear day turned pitch black as smoke and dust filled the once-bright sky.

The sound of an explosion and some noise from a rifle were also heard from a distance indicating a dispute that occurred.

In a corner of the border of the country were seen several people dressed in soldiers running with rifles in their hands.

One of the men who also ran continued to hold his left arm with a facial expression holding back pain due to the gunshot wound he received. Before long the sound of explosions came alternating with the sound of heavy rifles following the sound of the explosion.

"HARAPP!" the voice of someone in between indicates that something is coming, without having to analyze the statement, all of them immediately jumped into their respective corners while holding tightly the helmet-covered head.

a loud sound was heard from behind them followed by a wind that was so fierce to hit everything beside him.

The scattered land was like rain that fell rapidly without wanting to know this was something terrible.

The smell of gunpowder mixed with dust made these people unable to resist coughing that spontaneously.

"why is there still war in this age?"

said one of the soldiers who held the wound in his hand with an angry tone while emitting a sigh in his heart.

Tears began to show themselves in his eye patch even though it was immediately swept away by an arm that was still in a down state.

"Don't complain Terry this is our duty to guard and defend our country!" the firm voice of someone trying to help the person stand up.

"but this is strange captain Yu, isn't there a United Nations that forbids us from fighting each other, so why is country D launching an attack?" terry worriedly expressed his opinion to the captain.

It feels strange even though there are laws that have been agreed on but why still ignite a war that will result in enemies by all countries that have agreed on this corruption.

Does country D really want hostility because of the technological sophistication that it has so unwilling to let the union of nations rule?.

Is it naive thinking that makes their idealism so arrogant?.

"You all hear we are soldiers!, as protectors and spears we must be able to keep our country peaceful even though our lives are at stake" captain Yu tries to motivate his subordinates who have lost their confidence.

"captain Yu where are we going?" ask someone who is next to him.

"there is a remote village not far from here we must immediately evacuate civilians so that there are no casualties!" assertively captain Yu while pointing to a truck that happened to be near them.

His subordinates followed every command from captain Yu without rejecting the command he gave .

"Popon drives the truck and goes straight to 2 o'clock, the others help terry heal his wounds, okay!"

"hi...understood!"

The truck drove off into the still raging battlefield, the sound of explosions still heard even though it was a kilometer away.

The tense atmosphere still they all felt in silence without a word they could only move their lips composing a prayer sentence they believed.

Seeing that all captain Yu then puffed out his chest and spoke with his floor.

"remember all of you.. Blood still feels warm in our bodies, fear and worry can no longer be denied!.

But remember we are the truth lest you forget it!"

Hearing the words of his captain they all re-emit the light of hope that repeatedly disappeared from each of them because of the battlefield that they had never met in modern times.

"Captain Yu!" - the driver shouted out.

"what's up ?"

"there's smoke coming from our destination?"

"what?"

captain Yu began to squint and took out the binoculars hanging from one of his subordinates' necks.

Captain Yu hardened his grasp, signaling the mounting anger from within him.

"Sialllllllll!"

the binoculars were thrown down and hit the deck of the truck and crashed into the left side of the truck.

the shrill voice of his subordinates sounded faintly without being heard by captain Yu himself.

Such an annoyed face and eyes that showed regret were clearly visible to the subordinates of Captain Yu.

The bomb almost hit the left side of their truck just a few meters away until it hit them all.

Even so, the truck almost toppled due to the pressure of the explosion caused by the jet.

"the reconnaissance-type plane passed us and headed in the direction of 2 o'clock,!"- Terry confirmed the presence of the enemy plane to captain Yu.

the bomb missile was successfully evaded but was immediately followed by machinegun fire from behind us.

"POPON DODGES!"

as much as possible Popon avoids the machinegun shot.

all his subordinates on the rear deck followed the command of the commander and immediately jumped up the clump beside the truck.

"Popon you have to jump fast!" firmly, Captain Yu who has changed to driving with Popon.

"no I will follow the captain!" - with a sincere smile that he throws at the captain.

"you dare to fight me?"

"no captain!, only I know the captain's intentions!"

Captain Yu smiled knowing that there was another fool who intended to sacrifice his life on the battlefield except for him.

"Popon look at the enemy plane with your rifle scope from behind the car door!"

Without a doubt his subordinates followed his orders and instantly stood in the doorway of the still-accelerating car.

but captain Yu immediately hit the body of the popon to fall out of the car.

"Popoon! I'm sorry you can't bear this burden because it's my fault as captain!"

the sound of a machinegun shot was heard from the front of the car, as he slammed the steering wheel dodging the shot.

captain Yu thinks if they don't dodge they will suspect that the car is unmanned and shoot blindly around them.

The plane returned to chase the truck driven by Captain Yu. the sound of gunfire that is now heard from the back of the car cannot be avoided by him so that the truck driven by Captain Yu exploded.
