"Edward, are you home?" ask a woman. Edward doesn't usually come home late at night. Usually the man will be home at 12pm. Mommy Amber, who is currently watching television alone, was astonished.
"Mommy didn't sleep?" ask Edward. He asked back. Feeling reluctant to answer.
Edward put his briefcase on one of the single sofas. He loosened his tie and sat down beside Mommy Amber. "No, what time is it?"
"Are you not busy? Your wife must have slept. She was a woman who could not treat her husband well. Look, you just arrived instead of being welcomed to sleep." Omel Mommy Amber's.
Edward was used to listening to his mother's taunts. "I'm upstairs, Mom." He was tired, his ears were broken and wanted to explode.
He opened the door of his room, the smell of vanilla began to seep into his sense of smell. The night wind was waving those golden-yellow curtains. The dim atmosphere adorned the silence of the room.
A candlelight by the window caught his attention, the fire was swaying blown by the wind that passed through the window.
He looked around the room, but saw no one. "Where is he?"
The two neutrals turned on a piece of white paper. He picked up the paper and read it, his forehead getting wrinkled, his jaw hardening. The white paper says their marriage will end in three months. "What's this?"
"Have you read it?" ask a woman. He had just come out of the bathroom and after coming out saw a man standing in front of the nightstand.
Areum did not want to cry, did not want to look weak in front of the man. "Don't you want it, I'm just making it easier." Answer smiled. She slowly stepped closer to the husband she had loved for these few months.
"You know the examination, right? I can't have children. I've decided, three months later we're getting a divorce. You take it easy, I'll talk to Grandma Mely. Grandma must have understood, that I can't have children."
Edward threw away the paper, his eyes still staring at the woman in front of him. How dare the woman in front of him file for divorce. "You want to pull over for me to love you?"
"No" said Areum. He no longer needed love, his blooming love had withered even though it was splashed by water. The flower petals had dried up and had been crushed.
"I know you married me just because you had to, because of Mely's grandmother. Grandma will understand why our marriage has to end. Grandma will agree because I can't have a descendant and successor to the Winston family."
"How dare you file a divorce with me. You have no right whatsoever to decide my life." His heart trembled, it felt very hot and painful. His heart stopped beating. It felt like the woman in front of him decided to leave him.
"You have no rights at all. I'm the one who has rights about my life and including yours."
Cruel to it, Areum could not even decide his life. He would not have done anything stupid in the past. He did not want any more thorns in his heart. There were so many thorns and were ready to break his heart. Now he does not want to add more thorns.
"I am just a burden to. So don't complicate our relationship." Areum tam trembled, she kept staring at the two beads of her husband. His heart was as in a squeeze. "I'm sure your heart is for others."
