I looked towards the source of the sound. " Mister Lucas?!"

"Lucas?" claude and Felix said.

I'm nodding. "Yes. This is the owner of the magic tower I'm referring to, Lucas. How did you get here?"

"Suddenly this redhead pulled me in," Lucas replied, pointing at Felix.

Felix felt guilty. "I'm sorry Mr. Lucas. I was too happy to see you."

"So what's the solution you're thinking of?" ask Claude.

"Should I explain? Very inconvenient. You guys just get it sorted out later, the important thing is the child and the mother survived, right? So don't ask me much" Lucas replied.

"If you don't tell me how we know what you're doing is dangerous or not" Claude said.

I held Claude's hand. "Claude, there's no way Lucas's gonna harm me."

"You trust her too much, Diana," Claude said.

"Of course I believe him, because he's my friend" I replied.

Lucas chuckles. "Your friend? When do I consider you a friend?"

"Felix, take this witch out! We don't need him!" Claude's orders.

I'm appalled. "What does that mean?! You're kidding me, right?"

"As I said, we don't need it" Claude replied.

"Diana I don't like to be denied. Now everybody out!" his orders.

After that day Claude locked himself in the office. I haven't seen Claude in a few days, he's really never been out of his office. Even for eating, he did not come out.

"Felix, what's Claude doing to never get out of his office?" my many.

"Perhaps his highness is doing a lot of work so he does not leave his office even for a moment" Felix replied.

My forehead. "Does that make sense? He won't even let me see him."

"Miss Lily, we'd better take her noble consort to her room" Felix suggested.

Lily nodded. Felix's holding me in a bridge style. "Pardon my impoliteness, noble consort."

Before I left, I held Lucas' hand. "Don't go, Lucas."

I just chuckled at Lucas's curse. After that Felix rushed me to my room.

My breath hunts. I try to breathe in as much oxygen as I can but never enough. It was as if there was a door blocking oxygen from getting into my lungs. So crowded, that I felt like crying. "Felix, please call your highness. I'm not strong anymore."

Felix shook his head. "Not your highness empress, you must be strong! His Majesty is on his way here. You tau? He immediately ran like an infidelity man when he heard the news of the empress's majesty."

Lily just cried and clasped my hands as though she wouldn't let me go anywhere. "Your Majesty, you must endure! You must be strong for the sake of your majesty."

BRAKK!!! Claude opened the door violently. He came with a messy appearance. "DIANA."

Claude walked up to me and grabbed my next hand. "Diana, what's going on? Why are you like this?"

"Your majesty, I'm sorry" I said weakly.

Claude nodded quickly. "What do you mean apologize? You're not wrong, it's me who's sorry for ignoring you lately. I promise I won't do it again, but I beg you to hang on."

"Stop talking nonsense! Felix, find the witch until we meet. Soon!" Claude's orders.

"Lucas," called me in a very weak voice.

Lucas approached. "Don't talk much. Save your energy."

"Here it is, if I do not save you this kingdom will be destroyed. You don't hear, your husband yells like a man of loyalty outside."

Claude kept me company until Lucas came along. He kept talking about what he was going to do when this child was born. I'm glad to hear it, from the story I know that Claude really loves this child. According to the novel, Claude loved Athanasia very much, but because of Diana's death, he turned dark and hated Athanasia. But this time I'm going to stay, I don't want Athanasia to be hated like in a novel.

Lucas is coming. "Alright let's start the delivery. You wait outside."

Claude refused. "No. Why can't I accompany my wife to give birth?"

"You're just gonna bother. Anyway, this is no ordinary delivery, you'll be hurt if you go through with the process" Lucas explained.

"No problem" Claude replied.

I held Claude's hand. "Wait outside with Felix and Lily. I'll be fine."

"Please promise to hold on, Diana."

I'm nodding. "Sure Claude."

With a heavy heart Claude came out of my room.
