Izumi smiled obliquely. He couldn't contain his feelings of pleasure. Especially when finding someone as stubborn as he seems.
The entrance bell rings. All the students rushed to their classes.
In class, Hideo as the teacher who teaches in the first hour said that the semester exam will arrive soon. He certainly told all his students to study more.
"Chiro, Shima! you two have the worst grades of any other. After that, try! it's for your own future" Hideo said in a stern tone.
Hiro and Shima could only nod their heads with hammering expressions. Some of his friends were busy laughing at him.
After giving advice, Hideo again explained the formulas in Mathematics. Time really goes very slowly when dealing with things that are hated. That's how Hiro feels now.
The sound of the bell sign of rest, like a paradise for Hiro. He had been waiting for that voice for a long time.
One by one the students took turns out of the room. The same goes for Hiro and Shima. But before the two left, Hideo called out their names.
"What's up, Sensei?" ask Shima.
"I want to ask you what kind of friendship you have?" instead of answering, Hideo turned around to ask.
Hiro chuckled and said, "Our friendship is like a sibling relationship. Very close!"
"Yes, Sensei!" Shima assures, join in chuckling with Hiro.
Hideo showed an awkward smile. "Then, from today on one of you will move classes!"
Hideo's words suddenly startled Hiro and Shima. He did not expect the decision from his Mathematics teacher.
"Why?" shima asked, not believing.
"It's for your own good. It is the closeness of friendship that makes your values worse. I think this is the right way to get each of you to focus!" hideo said at length.
"But why so suddenly? isn't the exam coming soon?" reply Hiro who did not accept.
"That's one of the reasons I broke you two apart!" hideo's decision remains unanimous. He even tells her that Shima is the one who will move classes.
"Sensei! the problem isn't that. But because-"
"Enough! you better just follow!" cut Hideo off, then move out of class. Leaving behind Hiro and Shima who were both bowing their heads.
Shima sat down on the empty chair that was in front of the teacher. He breathed a heavy sigh. While Hiro leaned his body onto the table. Looking seriously at his best friend.
"I'm sorry, Shima. I often get you busy with my problems. So that makes you no longer have time to learn," added Hiro. Positioning himself sitting on the chair next to Shima.
"You're not wrong. I'm just a stupid kid. I don't even have any special talent in me" Shima said, slowly breathing out.
"Why do you say that!" hiro's response with a frown. He hated seeing people who were desperate. "Stop Shima. You're not alone, I'm even more stupid than you. If you don't exist, maybe I won't be able to understand this modern world working!" he added.
"But at least, you're an expert in martial arts." - Shima softly.
Taps! Taps! Taps!
"Hiro, Ryo-Sensei is looking for you!" seiko said as she walked towards the door. "Come with me!" continued, urgently.
"Go, Hiro!" shima said with a faint smile.
"You should come with me too." Hiro who was already standing, looked at Shima with the corner of his eyes. Deep and hopeful.
"Not for this time" said Shima, forcing herself to smile. Stay still in his place. He had actually known the call intent of Ryo. Because most of the students who are called by the sports teacher, will definitely end up in a match related to school representatives. Hiro's skill when fighting the other day, seems to have made Ryo interested.
Hiro finally follows Seiko. After all, he also could not force Shima to come along, because it was only him who was called by Ryo.
Seiko escorts Hiro to the teacher's room. In an instant Hiro was instantly taken center stage by all the teachers. But the adults showed different expressions. Some were flat, pouting, and astonished. The only teacher that looks like a sumringah is Ryo. Because he's the only teacher who knows how Hiro's skills are.
"Are you sure Ryo-San?" a teacher speaks.
"By the way, I doubt it too. Didn't you always complain about how bad he was?"
"Yes, Hiro is not only bad at academics but also at sports!" some teachers give an unaccepted response. Because they weigh decisions with known facts.
"I'll make sure it doesn't. I don't know what happened to him. But he's so great, Hiro can represent our school in the game!" Ryo denied all the opinions of his co-workers. He looks very confident.
Hiro was silent. He suddenly worried about Shima. Especially after hearing the statement from Ryo. Hiro is afraid that what happened to Goku will happen to Shima as well. Then he put his foot in the door. Intend to meet his best friend. But his steps stopped immediately, when Shima suddenly appeared before him.
"Guhy!" hiro's pupils dilated.
In fact, Shima had been following Hiro since the beginning. He purposely stood in front of the teacher room to eavesdrop.
Shima looked smiling and turned her body towards the teachers. His hand was slapped onto a table. Until his loud voice caught the attention of everyone in the room.
"I know this is hard to believe. But what if Hiro can prove it to you!" said Shima who immediately became the laughingstock of several teachers. How not? one of the dumbest students in school was acting pretentious.
"Generic..." Hiro tried to stop. However, he gets a strong rejection from Shima.
Slowly Shima's index finger was aimed towards Ryo. He even put on a sharp and serious look. That's when everyone was silent a thousand languages. "Let Hiro fight Ryo-Sensei!" his challenge.
"W-what? me?" Ryo was made so shocked.
Unlike the other teachers, who look to behead as if agreeing to the idea of Shima.
"You're right Shima-Kun, we do need solid evidence. Because we don't want this school to be humiliated. Again!" takara. His eyeballs glanced at the article about Izumi's bullying case on his computer. The case has certainly succeeded in tarnishing the name of the school.
"What do you guys talk about? oi! it's not important at all. We don't have to bother doing it. Hiro's been proven to do all the judo techniques!" said Ryo who is lazy to compete with Hiro. He's not afraid. It's just that he who is already wearing a brown belt (the highest level in judo), feels not comparable to dealing with beginners like Hiro.
"Ryo-Sensei, are you afraid of fighting your own students?" timpal Takara while crossing his chest.
Hearing his colleague's words, Ryo broke into a small laugh and replied, "What did you say? scared of? I'm just worried about him!" he pointed at Hiro in a way that raised his chin.
Maybe Ryo thought the sentence he said was common. But not for Hiro, when feeling underrated, that's where he starts to become determined.
