Chapter 27 - Shot Wounds

Hiro who was already in pain finally chose to hide. Behind the wall of an alley. He tried to calm down his snarling breath. The man continued to press against his chest cavity so that the sound of his breathing could be immediately silent as usual.

The sound of footsteps began to come closer. Makes Hiro straighten up. His hand was trying to cover the injured arm. Honestly, the gunshot wound was getting more and more stabbing. This causes Hiro's energy to become depleted.

The running foot steps are getting closer. Hiro immediately raised his foot, as he was ready to attack. Not long after, the figure of the owner of the foot creak appeared. Hiro then tried to attack, but was immediately stopped. The man in front of him was Shima.

"Paying!" Shima reflex stopped Hiro's actions, who almost threw a kick. He covered his face with both hands as a weapon of self-protection.

"You turned out.." said Hiro while grimacing in pain. His hand was still attached to his injured arm.

"You're hurt!" Shima rounded her eyes. He was overwhelmed with feelings of worry. "Senpai, we have to go to the hospital now!" he said while trying to carry Hiro's body. However, Hiro instead tries to stop Shima, as he is worried about the Nakagawa people who are in pursuit.

Shima rubbed her nape in confusion. His eyes continued to stare at Hiro's arm which looked as if he kept releasing a red liquid. He also did not forget to look back. Hope no Nakagawa's men are chasing. But extinct was his hope when he saw there were two men seemed to run from a distance. One of them was clearly the guard that was in Nakagawa's house.

Shima was back in hiding. He rushed Hiro to a safer hideout. It was in a sauna that happened to be open.

Shima drags Hiro into the sauna. There he did not care about the few men who were staring in astonishment at him. Shima just ran towards the toilet, and hid in one of the rooms with Hiro.

Hiro is getting weaker. His face also looked pale. He tried to endure the pain by grinding his teeth.

"Senpai, hang in there." said Shima who almost whined because she felt so panicked.

Geck... Geck...

Someone suddenly knocked on the door of the room where Hiro and Shima were.

The knocking made Hiro and Shima tense up. Both of them shut their mouths tightly, and tried to be as quiet as possible.

Geck! Geck!

"Shima, it's me, Kogoro!" the one who knocks on the door makes a sound. It turns out that he is Kogoro, which turned out to be one part of a group of men who enjoy sauna.

Shima opened the door. Before he could tell about Hiro's situation, Kogoro realized it first. Kogoro then tells Shima to press Hiro's wound with the towel she was given. He sacrificed a towel that was perched on his hips. So that the Kogoro look is now in a state of complete naked.

"Damn!" hiro growled while turning his gaze to the side. His sight was completely stained with the appearance of Kogoro looking confident.

Shima, who feels that Hiro is feeling uncomfortable, immediately takes off her shirt, and gives it to Kogoro.

Kogoro only frowned, and kept his useless comments first. Because Hiro's condition is now urgent and needs treatment as soon as possible.

"Stupid! why are you even here? and not to the hospital?!" timpal Kogoro was upset while tying Shima's shirt to her waist.

"We are being chased, and have no time to go to the hospital. Please help Hiro first Uncle, I'll explain everything later!" shima said, pleading hysterical.

Kogoro gave a rude snort, then told Hiro and Shima to wait for a while. While he was away to seek help.

Moments later, Kogoro returned fully clothed. He was carrying an old man carrying a bag of medical equipment in his hand. His name was Hayate, it seemed like he was an experienced person in medicine.

"It's wearing!" Kogoro returned the shirt to Shima.

"Let me see" Hayate said as he told Shima to remove the towel from Hiro's arm. Hayate's pupils dilated when he learned that Hiro had been injured by a gunshot. He examined carefully the wounds that Hiro was suffering from.

"Just calm down, the bullet's not too deep. I can get it out" Hayate said confidently. He took out a scalpel and a clamp from his bag, then prepared to perform the surgical procedure.

While waiting for Hiro to be treated, Kogoro demands his nephew to provide an explanation. As Shima promised earlier, she had to tell the reason behind the gunshot wound that hit Hiro.

Shima told me a brief story. He was forced to do so, because he had no other choice. Shima also showed the photo that Hiro had given. The photo is still neatly stored in his pants pocket.

Now Kogoro can see past photos of Akira with Katashi Nakagawa. Like Hiro, Kogoro is curious about Akira and Nakagawa's relationship.

Kogoro leaned his body against the door of the room. He looked at the photo in his hand while thinking.

"Is Akira part of the Katashi family?" Kogoro guess. His eyes are still on the same thing. Slowly he turned his mouth to the right. It was as if he was thinking of a plan that would make him happy.

"Uncle why smile so?" reprimand Shima, who had been watching her uncle.

"I think Hiro and Akira have an important relationship with the Nakagawa family. That means..." Kogoro smiled as he shook his head. He didn't finish his sentence.

"Mean what?" tukas Shima curious.

"Your friend is a rich man!" Kogoro gripped one of Shima's shoulders. His eyes sparkled with excitement.

Hiro who heard was completely unable to make a sound. Because he is now enduring immense pain. He thinks Kogoro is a little exaggerated and a bit suspicious. Shima shouldn't have told Kogoro everything.

After taking half an hour more, Hayate finally managed to pull out the bullet that was lodged in Hiro's arms. With a few drops of alcohol and a small stitch, Hiro's arm could now be bandaged.

Unexpectedly, there was a noise from outside. The deft Kogoro, immediately saw the situation outside the toilet. But he immediately turned around, when he found out that there were two Nakagawa people searching.

Fortunately, Hiro was already treated. So he can now hide well. Hayate, who turns out to be a sauna business owner, knows a safe place to hide. The old man had a hidden secret room.

Hayate took Hiro and Shima out of the toilet cautiously. The two Nakagawa people are still looking in the storage room, where the locker cabinets are neatly arranged. Kogoro cleans up Hiro's blood on the floor. The man just needs to wipe and flush it with water. Next Kogoro again enjoyed the sauna to warm himself.
