The Bagas circumcision event

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

Alhamdulillahi robbil ‘alamin assholatu wassalamu ‘ala asyrofil ambiya'i wal mursalin, wa’ala ali wasohbihi ajmain ‘amma’du

First of all let us offer thanksgiving to Allah Almighty for His blessings, mercy and gifts, so that We can gather at Our residence to perform the circumcision of Our son Bagas Baratayudha with healthy condition wal’afiat.

Sholawat and greetings We always pour out to Our Lord the great Prophet Muhammad SAW who has brought Us from the realm of darkness to the bright nature. and may We who are present in this place in particular, will get his Intercession in yaumil qiyamah later. Aamiin Yes Robbal Alamin.

Father/Mother glorified by Allah SWT,

On this day on September 10, 2028 I Rangga Baratayudha would like to thank you very much for the presence of Mr/Mother in the event of the circumcision of Our son/daughter named Bagas Baratayudha

.Next let us both read the letter of Al-Fatiha to Allah SWT, so that the celebration of this circumcision is given smoothness, and the ananda Bagas Baratayudha becomes a pious child, devoted to parents, and, and useful for the whole community.

Lastly before I close, allow Me to apologize profusely if the place, banquet or celebration I am not pleased in the hearts of Mr/Mothers.

Rangga as the host left the stage to say a word. Bagas who has sat wearing a sarong because it has been circumcised. He seemed optimistic even though he could not mingle with his other friends.

"Bagas, congratulations. You are great to be circumcised." said Yusuf who came to the event at the Ciracas house.

"Thank you, suf. You must be brave too." Bagas encouraged his friend.

"Who are you?" ask Bagas.

"Papa, Bude Lia and Shasa" replied Joseph.

"Serus mama you're not coming?"

"Mama has a beautiful baby. Her name is Nagita Aulia. If you're cured, I'll know my brother." Yusuf told me.

A few moments later the Bagas school group came to meet the invitation. The teachers also greeted Laras and Rangga alternately. Bagas classmates also blend in towards Bagas and Yusuf.

Nature stands near Rangga and Laras. As a sister-in-law he did not want to be left behind with the euphoria of his nephew's happiness.

"She said Ina gave birth?" tanya Rangga started the conversation.

"Yes, brother. Our daughter." Answer Nature.

"Darling, my niece's a girl." Rangga shifted his attention to his wife.

"Whose name?" ask Laras.

"Nagita Aulia." answered Nature.

"So you really gave me the name of your late wife, Lam. O God, it seems you have not moved on from the Gita. You don't know Ina was so tormented when you always hooked her and Gita. Don't bother Ina with Gita's heart and you treat her like a Gita." Laras was upset.

Rangga saw Laras so emotionally trying to calm down. Rangga also knows how Ina used to be needed like Gita, just because Ina's face is similar to his late wife's nature. But not only similar Ina was the recipient of the heart that Gita donated.

"Honey, patience. It's Bagas' show. Don't you get damaged just because of another problem."

"Astaghfirullah, sir. Excuse me. I was upset with Nature. From the past it was still insensitive to Ina's feelings." Laras replied while sequencing his chest.

Nature just looked down. He also could not do anything because the one who gave his name was his brother-in-law who incidentally was the biological mother of his late wife. Alam and Ina met after finding her mother-in-law as her biological sister but a different mother. Ina's dimly lit face halved with his late wife, making him fall in love. Although the beginning of their relationship was not sanctioned by his in-laws who are now his sister-in-law.

"Sorry, Ras. But the one who gave me the name wasn't me. Except for Lia, she who from the beginning wanted Gita to live in our child. We can't do much. Aulia's name is intentionally Ina pinned to remember the late mama Kania." clearly nature.

"I understand, Lam. Forgive Laras earlier, he was so because of love with Ina. But if I think you're just talking to Ina and Aunt Yulia about your son's name. If you talk about it with a cold head there's a way out." Rangga patted his sister-in-law's shoulder.

"Thank you, brother." Nature while breathing heavy. His gaze turned to his children sitting between Bagas.

The event continued with a lecture from Ustad Jaya invited by Rangga. The host also allowed ustad Jaya to stand on the pulpit of the event. All seemed solemn listening to the tausiah of the middle-aged ustad.

Praise and gratitude should be given to Allah SWT. Praise be to Him, the Most Powerful, the Creator, and the Most Loving of His servants. Thank goodness, because until this moment we are still tempted by thousands of favors both we ask for and not. Shalawat and salam are still poured out to His Majesty, Muhammad Saw, his family, and his Companions, as well as his followers.

Rahamakumullah

Maybe some of us do not know about the ins and outs of circumcision. It could be, some of us circumcise their children just because they follow tradition. Therefore, it would be nice first to know what circumcision is, what the law is, and what the benefits are. That way, we really live a charity or worship that we do.

Khitan comes from Arabic “khatana” which means ‘cut’. According to the term, circumcision is to open or cut the skin (quluf) that covers the tip of the ******, precisely cut the skin that covers the end so that it is completely open with the aim to be clean from unclean. This skin cutting is intended so that when urinating it is easy to clean because the condition in worship is purity.

What about the law? The scholars agree that circumcision for men is mandatory. Khitan has been proclaimed a religion based on the word of Allah SWT.

“Then We revealed to you (Muhammad): "Follow the religion of Abraham as a hanif" and he was not among those who associate with God”

(QS. Nahl: 123)

According to the above verse, Allah ordered the Prophet Muhammad to follow the Shari’at Prophet Ibrahim, including performing circumcision. According to history, Prophet Abraham was the first man to perform circumcision. Then Prophet Abraham circumcised his son Prophet Ishaq on the seventh day after his birth and Prophet Ishmael at the time of aqul puberty. This circumcision continued until the time of the pre-Islamic Arabs, when the Prophet Muhammad, was born.

Thus, hopefully circumcised children from now on can run syari’at religion in Istiqamah. And, the obligation of parents to always teach, guide him, and remind him. May it be useful for all of us. Aamiins.

Taufiq wa hidayah

The event closes with prayer. The command of Ustad Jaya. When the reading of the prayer Laras and Rangga vibrated. Both are moved when one by one the sharp pebbles in their households can be passed. In their hearts they were thankful that God showed them the way of happiness.
