69. What an adorable dissident

"The....!" rachel shouted to see Rangga leaving to take May.

"Down me. Buk Rachel called you." May revolted in Rangga's arms. He was ashamed to be in this man's arms. I don't know what views and judgments people see them so closely.

"Buk Rachel called you. Please put me down." May asked to come back to hear Rachel's call. Surely the mature woman was furious and hated him even more.

"Sir put me down. I can walk alone." whispered May again trying to get down.

"Shut up, we'll fall." Rangga looked at him sharply.

"People are looking at us. I'm ashamed." whispered May back with a asking look.

"Leave it. Ignore it!" reply Rangga indifferently and continue to walk no matter May's words, Rachel's call and the guests' confused gaze.

May was annoyed staring poutyly. He further hid his face on Rangga's bare chest.

Rachel grew furious at being ignored. How shameful he was left as if he was not appreciated. The eyes of the guests stared at the puzzled look questioningly at him. The guests must have thought badly of him for leaving Rangga for another woman.

"Mr Rachel, where'd your fiance go with the girl?" guest inquiries.

"Isn't that girl Sean's partner? Why is it even close to Mr Rangga?" other questions from other guests.

Rachel grew furious with the question. But he tried to calm down, to be relaxed with a forced smile.

"The girl is a friend of Mr. Rangga and Mr. Sean. He used to work at R² branch company in America. Her name is May Wulandari." Rachel said for a reason. The reason that saved his pride.

"Oh so you know him too?"

"Of course, the girl's my employee." Admit Rachel again, though she's disgusted to say she knows May.

Some of the guests who were kepo were mangut mangut understood.

"I'm sorry to see them." said Rachel saw Rangga getting further and further away. He also could not stand facing the mother, worried that he would be asked again.

Rachel is chasing the already invisible Rangga. "Brengs*k where did they go?" growled. He stepped out of the ballroom, but several beautiful, elegant-looking women confronted him. The women, who were Vishnu's men, introduced themselves as CEOs of several cosmetics companies in collaboration with fashion business Cindy.

The woman invited him to talk about his marriage with Rangga. They praise Rachel and say she is the luckiest woman to have Rangga. And that makes them jealous. They also praised the intelligence of Rachel who is a vice president director who was very instrumental to the success of the company's glory R². As much as possible they make Rachel focus on the chat, with various chats that contain praise and flattery to make Rachel forget about Rangga who has brought May.

And Rachel, of course, was very pleased with the compliment. He is the kind of person who likes compliments. The adulation seemed to make itself above the clouds. Makes herself a very valuable and lucky woman. His anger subsided unnoticed, and eventually forgot about Rangga and May.

"Mr Rachel, you're so pretty tonight. Your appearance really fascinated us. Can we take some pictures of you?" praise some of the photographers who were also in Vishnu's order to keep Rachel busy.

"Of course" said Rachel happily and proudly. He immediately set the position of his body to stand and make some style ala models.

The Vishnu photographer immediately took photos of himself with various styles.

Cindy gets a report from a personal assistant about May's fall in the pool, kept on saving Rangga. And Rangga had brought the girl into the study.

Cindy seemed to think something. He looked towards Rachel far away over there who was again busy posing with the photographer. Cindy whispered something to her personal assistant. The assistant understood and immediately went to carry out his orders.

Dion approached.

"Where's Rangga?" dion asked noisily to Cindy. He did not see Rangga's whereabouts.

Cindy was surprised and nervous by the question. "Rangga again went to no business to his study. Soon enough, she'll be back" Cindy whispered.

"His clothes got wet while helping May who fell into the pool. And now he's changing clothes!" cindy said frankly.

Not covering anything from her husband.

Dion's face frowned. So the girl was on this show? Did Rangga invite him? his inner.

"Is Rangga crazy? What if Mr Dominic and his wife find out about it?" looking at Cindy.

"I told you not to get in touch with that girl again. Why is he disobeying?" Dion whispered a sharp look.

"Sir___the girl came with Mr. Sean as her partner. And Rangga only__!" Cindy wanted to explain, but she cut Dion off.

"You already know Rachel hates that girl. Do not create problems that will have a bad impact on Rangga's big project. Call him right now. Tell me to come here quickly." said Dion firmly with emphasis.

Cindy quietly did not deny seeing the anger in the eyes of her husband and her cousin's sister. He breathed an annoyance. Why does her husband not support Rangga's love for May? the girl who can make Rangga fall in love and return to feel happiness after the heartbreak of losing Khanza first.

Dion leaves Cindy and rejoins Dominic and the others.

Rangga took May to his study.

Sean followed them. All three are soaked. Rangga dropped May because she kept fighting.

May stared pouty.

"Thank you for the help. I'm sorry to trouble you and Mr. Sean" he said despite his annoyance. After all he survived because of the Chairman of this R² company. And I have to thank them.

"It doesn't matter what matters you're okay" replied Rangga.

"Mr Sean, let's go home." take May to Sean.

"We can't go home like this. You better change your clothes first so as not to get cold and catch a cold" said Sean.

"I don't have a change of clothes. That's why we have to go home." May refused.

"I happen to have a change of clothes in the car. I'll go down first. All of you want to order your clothes. You go with Mr. Rangga first." said Sean.

May's face crept. He was about to speak but was canceled by Sean's words.

"Pak Rangga's. I'll leave Miss May for a minute. Please borrow any clothes for him. She's freezing. Later if you have to go home to the apartment" he said to see RANGGA. Then look at May."Miss May, you wait a moment in Mr. Rangga's room, I'll be right back" he said, then immediately left without waiting for May's approval which of course did not want to be left with Rangga.

"Mr Sean____! Ishhh ___!" May stared at his disappearance.

"Come in." said Rangga.

"I don't want to. I want to catch up with Mr. Sean" May said. It wasn't without reason that she refused, and the reason was because of Rachel.
