Chapters 31. Perceiver

Lily took a breath. The sea-blue-colored eye bead stared fixedly at the man who had just been his lover for two days. Lily led Leon to sit in the long chair inside the VIP room. They sit facing each other.

"In recent months my company has been in turmoil. Dad asked me to find the mastermind behind the mess" Lily said.

Leon who listened to the explanation, reflexes held Lily's hand that was on the table.

"Have you found the mastermind of honey,?" leon asked with a serious look.

"It has been but I have to find clear evidence of my suspicions" he explained.

"Is that the culprit someone you know,?" ask Leon.

"Yes I know very well. Even he who has healed the wound in my heart" Lily said with a sad look.

Lily nodded her head.

Leon pulls Lily into his arms. He rubbed slowly on Lily's back trying to give her strength.

Lily smiled at Leon's words. He hugged Leon tightly. He is grateful that God brought him to Leon even in a unique way.

Leon loosened a little hug.

"Thank you Leon, but I want to work on my own to deal with my past" Lily said.

Lily didn't want to trouble her lover. She's not feeling well just been dating for two days. I've been asking Leon for help. That's not typical of Lily. He doesn't want to rely too much on Leon.

The lovers chuckled together. Lily lowered her head trying to hide her flushed face.

Leon smelled a smile. He slowly raised Lily's chin. They look at each other.

"Something seems to have been holding back hunger" Leon said.

Lily did not answer. He immediately turned his face away. She's so embarrassed!

Leon immediately pressed a special button in the room. He asked to make Japanese food immediately.

15 Minutes later

Japanese food such as sushi, sashimi, udon and others are available at the dining table. Leon watched closely the food that was in front. She didn't like the food of this sakura country much, but for Lily's sake, she would try to eat it.

Lily who saw Leon's behavior frowned. He rubbed Leon's shoulder gently.

"Didn't you like it, huh,?" ask Lily.

"Like honey,!" leon said slowly.

Lily nodded small.

Lilly's stomach was thrashing to be fed. He immediately picked up chopsticks, the first food he wanted to taste was sushi. Leon did the same thing, he followed what Lily did.

Both of them enjoyed the meal so sweetly and calmly. Leon was tasting a piece of sushi that looked strange in his eyes.

Lily chuckled softly as she looked at Leon's face.

Finish lunch together. They immediately returned to the company office. But Leon first drove Lily to the company where she worked.

Arriving at Lily's office directly at Marimar's desk with many questions.
