Chapters 14. Meeting the Past (1)

Some people must have a dark past and certainly have their own life tests, the difference is their strength in dealing with it.

Same with Lily's past. The past has taught him many valuable lessons. Lily used to crave a flawless beautiful life. Life with his little family. Yeah, that was before.

Is it wrong for Lily as a human being to want the happiness she dreams of. Not blaming?

The beautiful memories strung together with Rissa revolved around Lily's memory. Rissa is Lily's only friend. Friends from childhood to adulthood. They went to the same school from elementary school to college. Although the differences in the background of the two are very striking.

"Wow, your son's grown up, is he?" Scanning Lily's three children.

"You remember aunt?" Lily smiled meaningfully.

Nickolas and Samuel looked at each other, trying to remember who was ahead. The two turned to look at Kendrick for answers.

Kendrick looked at his brother with a cold expression, again they spoke through inner contact. Kendrick won't forget the woman in front. He still remembers what happened that night. That woman was the beginning of the destruction of her mother's happiness.

"Maybe I don't remember Rissa, they were kids" Lily said.

"Alright, you must remember aunt from now on. Because aunt will be.... "

"Enough Rissa!" Lily cut the conversation.

Rissa crossed her arms across her chest while staring at Lily's sinister.

Lily approached Kendrick and whispered something, "Ken, get your sisters into the manager's meeting, eat in the VIP room."

Kendrick nodded her head, and invited her sister to come inside according to Lily's orders.

Lily looked back at Rissa. They stared at each other without a single word uttered, silent for a moment!

"Rissa, they're kids. Don't involve them with our problems. They don't know anything" Lily broke the silence.

"Well, I didn't involve them. But I'm just telling Lily the truth. You're just having a problem!" Rissa poked her lips.

Lily sighed, it seemed that Rissa had never changed. Lily never heard an apology from Rissa's lips.

"There's more you want to talk to me about?"

"Yes, ada. Can we sit my feet very sore." Rissa rolled her eyeballs.

"All right."

They immediately looked for a seat.

Restaurant Mint has 2 floors, and 4 rooms are given clear glass bulkhead. Lily and Rissa's seat was on the 1st floor, the first room when entering the restaurant.

"So what do you want to talk about Rissa?"

"Do I have to ask permission from you to return?" ask Lily slowly.

"No, it's just that I feel weird. Why you should go back now. Is it because I want to marry Arnold in a moment?" Rissa raised one eye eyebrow.

"There's no reason for me to go back. I miss my family. It has nothing to do with your marriage" Lily said.

"Listen Lily, Arnold loved me he never loved you. We're getting married soon, so don't take it away from me!" Rissa showed a diamond ring on her ring finger, lifting the corner of her lips.

"Congratulations on your marriage. I'm sorry I'm not going back to picking up trash." Lily smiled cynically.

"What did you say?" Rissa looked at Lily.

"Are you deaf Rissa? My ex-husband is the trash I've thrown away. I'm not gonna pick up trash, get Rissa!"

Rissa made no sound she clenched tightly on her hands, and her fingernails began to turn white. Rissa started to get emotional.

"You insulted your ex-husband Lily. You're a fucking crook, two-faced!" said the fiery Rissa.

"Think of it before you make a reflection of someone else, Rissa." Lily looked calm.

Rissa immediately got up from her seat.

"Curtain, you hypocrite! Arnold no longer loves you. You're a hypocritical woman! Can't satisfy your ex-husband in bed!" rissa said in a loud voice, she was trying to humiliate Lily.

The visitor in the room heard what Rissa said. They started whispering. It appears that some people recorded the incident that happened in the room using their old cell phones.

Lily circulated her gaze, she saw some visitors were whispering. At the moment the situation is not very conducive, Lily intends to end the conversation with Rissa so as not to cause a commotion, at the Restaurant.

"Rissa is enough. I'm going to see my son" Lily concluded.

"Wait, look at her two-faced woman. He's trying to take my future husband!" rissa said by staring at some visitors in the room, she tried to twist the facts.

Lily sighed hearing Rissa's words, she touched on what Rissa wanted. Lily doesn't want to deal with people in her past.

"Enough Rissa. Aren't you tired of all this, you took my ex-husband. Don't turn the facts around. You stabbed me in the back. A traitor is a traitor. I'm not gonna take my ex-husband again. Take that! Thank you for keeping me away from someone who is unfaithful to me. I hope she doesn't leave you for the sake of the other women" Lily said, rising to her feet.

Rissa was speechless with Lily's words, some visitors stared at Rissa with contemptuous gazes.

But Rissa doesn't want to lose. "Liar! you hypocritical woman! You deserve to be left out!" Rissa approached while raising her hand towards Lily's face.

As fast as lightning Lily caught Rissa's wrist from hitting her face. Lily gripped Rissa's wrist.

"Awh, let Lily go!" Rissa grimaced in pain.

Lily drew closer to Rissa's body, she whispered something in Rissa's ear." Don't bother me anymore! Live in peace. Take good care of my ex-husband from the wild woman out there."

Lily threw Rissa's hand rough, and she quickly left Rissa.

The scornful gazes from the restaurant's visitors led to Rissa. The woman's face looked red. He immediately went out of the restaurant.

It was seen that a man was watching closely the incident in front of his eyes.

"Hmm interesting" he said slowly, while the two brown beads were fixed, on the figure of the woman who walked into the VIP room.
