"yeah yuk!" bring
"are you sure?" ask me to doubt
"why indeed?"
"Raka, your leg has not fully healed. Your path is still not right, we better get back on the train!"
Raka was silent while holding her chin. As if he was thinking something.
"Sep, sep here sep" he called
"what's wrong?" ask Asep
"i came home with you! just until the train station. I'll go back to Jakartanya by train"
"can you keep the bike?"
"Let's just tell people"
The journey from the foot of Mount Burangrang to the train station is quite far. And maybe due to the exhaustion Raka involuntarily slept right on my shoulder.
There was an intention to move Raka's sleeping position so lean on the car glass. However, watching him sleep so soundly made me choose not to move him.
He slept so hard on my shoulder. And that makes me have a chance to look at his face, it turns out if I notice Raka has small thin lips. He also has a lot of moles on his face.
Until I finally had to lift him out of his sleep.
"Raka.." call me.
Raka bangung from her sleep then looked at the window of the car. Then after that he went down.
"Thank you Sep. Sorry to be ngerepotin"
"ah yes no papa Ka. Be careful on the road, I go first"
Asep's car went away leaving us both. Raka looked at my face with a smile that I really wanted to bring home. Then after that he held my hand as if very afraid I was gone or lost.
In the car we sat facing each other. Raka continued to look outside during the trip, she did not let out a word as long as the carriage sped up.
That's what makes me curious, because if I look at this as if it was his first experience riding a train.
"how many times have you been on the train?"
"new 2 times"
"who's first?"
"oh..but why do you look like the first person to take the train?"
"i'm happy to be able to take the train with you mel.it makes me feel comfortable"
...
Outside the station were Raka's mother, father and parents. They seemed to have waited for quite a while, the mother who saw me coming out of the station immediately hugged me with a warm embrace as if she had not met for many years.
After that we both had to separate because there was a house that we missed. Before leaving Raka approached me, then with a smile she said
"try to open up" after which he got in the car and left.
When I got home, I asked my mother a lot of questions. Like why do you know Raka?, what do you tell her about me? and many other questions.
But she didn't answer all those questions with the answers I expected, she answered instead.
"you take a shower, and then you eat. Later after the circumstances are comfortable new mom story"
What answer I hate the most, why? because such an answer could always make me curious half to death.
The night was right on the porch of the house, I approached the mother who was busy reading a magazine. I sat right next to him, then without further ado I immediately charged his promise.
"what is she like? how can you be familiar with him?"
Mom kept the magazine and sighed.
"this, Raka's mother and parents have known him for a long time as well as her father. And Raka is a sociable child is also easy to get along with new people, it makes the mother comfortable telling you to Raka"
"how did she think?"
"The good boy's sheep are also polite, he always respects the opinions of others. Although the child is a little cold but, if it is very close. There are so many stories that he is happy to share"
I think the story of the mother was enough to answer my curiosity about her figure. Finally after the conversation I chose to go into the room, then I took the diary on my desk.
Your smile is the most beautiful thing in the world that I would love to bring home. But I can't because you don't belong to me completely.
Being next to you is the comfort I've been looking for all this time. It felt as if it had a place to take shelter when the storm hit.
I hope you're the home I've been looking for, I hope you're the safest shelter. I always want to live in that comfortable house.
And may the universe not swap that cozy house for a better one. Because I've fallen in love with a house that has so much to it.
